Branded in red was cut to 1 and ad lib was cut completely because you'd never resolve it in bystial tear meta. In the new format, BiR is probably going to be run at 2 with ad lib coming back. Which means 2 mirrorjade banishes when it's activated

Could be a dragostapellia or a masquerade if you have a despia on board. If you open it, you also get to save your albion set for branded opening, which gets you ad lib or dramaturge if you didn't beforr
@@CS0723 my build atm struggles to get more than one target for red in grave (usually a loose aluber or a libitum) but you’re right in that if I change things around it two red might be helpful there
You are watching DB players try to pilot the modern equivalent to pre-zoo OCG D/D/D. Expecting them to pilot the deck is a bit much. Perhaps lower your expectations to "use the new support instead of Mirrorjade pass" instead.
11:00 Considering Mercourier can search a starter or add any S/T from GY, I think 3 makes sense if you have enough going second cards. They're cool to side out too.

Crossout is legit. Not only has it saved me from nib and evenly, but it plays hard in the mirror. Crossout opponent unicorn/fenrir or whatever and then birth/prep it back to the field on next turn.
Chaos Hunter would be good against Kash plus I'd do the old trick of Branded by locking em with Ra's Disciple although it's not the best choice since they got book of eclipse

It's not about being unfair, it's the fact that the match up is a snooze fest because no player skill is involved in winning or losing since you just have to draw the out

However I do prefer deck that are strong whilst also not having a specific out at the cost of the end board not being an FTK.

yeah now that the ishizu are pretty much out of the format helped branded not have to deal with so many of their cards getting yoinked out of the GY. going back to 2 branded in Red is probably going to be the staple ratio if people start going back to main/side decking D barrier for both it and Kash.
@@justice8718 Branded in white is so bad. you're adding more engine into the deck that can brick you more than help you. at least having a 2nd branded in red let's you dodge cards like imperm/veiler or other targeted card effects

I played Kashtira for a bit and can honestly say that it's the most BORING deck I've ever played. Extremely uninteractive. Can't imagine how boring it is playing against, if you even can. What the hell Konami I thought the Tear meta was boring, this one is infinitely worse
Branded in RED loses to BYSTIAL HARD. Same with Punishment. Now the branded deck will rise, it will have to play the Ra's Disciple combo because Bystials are too good.
Bruh branded in red is 1 interrupt out of the 5-6 you can get out potentially. Expulsion eats up almost all your resources and dies to bystials even harder.
@@e-tan3911 expulsion does not with the correct way to use with granguignol and albion setting and with branded in white banishing the expulsion target. Bystials hardly hurt branded in general lol
@@ruboboyo4579 either way, between enemy controller and dark hole being sided more for the Kashtira matchup, and the chance of going second turning all the expulsion cards into bricks, it's just not worth running except as a side deck pick for when you KNOW your opponent is running Kash.
The branded guy is so bad it's not pretty anymore. It's pretty good there will be a lot of branded players in the format and only few of them are good. The guy didn't even use rindbrumm and the other eff of guignol to special quaritis to counter the zeus play. The dude is very bad

People don’t ever use two branded in red. They branded in white and branded red as a pair.

Tears and Kashtiras seriously make me consider new rule changes because of how unrestricted the game is for floating and the GY resources.
