Never been a huge fan of Dilfer as a player.. But you can’t say he didn’t see IT in this kid.. Everything he has said about Tua, Tua has proven and even surpassed.
I love watching the Elite 11! Keep up the great work Coach Trent Dilfer! Tua, sole, keep up the great work, stay hungry and humble, I'm looking forward to seeing you playing on Sunday, as well as your roommate Najee Harris, God bless...soifua! A Poly fan from Antoch CA.
Tua wins the bronze statue next year, AND another National Championship next year. Great time to be an Alabama fan. He could go down as the GREATEST Alabama QB. Think about that. He's that great.
Jason try your best to refrain from delusional comments. UAT did not even win their own division this year and will not win the division next year. Listen to the Moose.
EASY brother, he just made a few plays in the second half of the NATTY. Yes, he is great, I seen that during the Spring Game. Most Clemson fans thought he would get the start at the beginning of the season. But lets not crown him the GOAT because he found a wide open receiver for the win. Everyone is having a knee jerk reaction to one throw, saying he is the next Tom Brady. PLEASE. Lets wait and see how he does game after game next year in the SEC. If he even gets the starting job over Jalen Hurts. Jalen Hurts has a pretty good win/loss record himself, so we shall see. By the way, BAMA WILL SEE CLEMSON AGAIN NEXT YEAR, WITH A DIFFERENT OUTCOME, TRUST ME.
+shet Yoself ,ok, that's fair. Sorry,it's just we haven't had the opportunity to have a great QB,hell not even a good one. Looks like your a Clemson fan,so you've had Watson, who is great. However, Tua sure looks good. I guess your right tho, probably wise to relax a bit.
Tua practice the last play in high school so many times according to his coach. Dilfer helped him polish it up. However, Tua executed it to perfection. Love that Seattle Play! Cheehoo!!
Trent dilfer is the best quarterback guru for any kid that wants to better their mechanics as far as going through progressions or ball placement reading defensive disguises ect....
Trent is being too nice. Josh Rosen is as entitled as they come. The kid has all the skills to be one of the best but he's gonna divide the locker room quite often. I'm glad Josh Rosen left for the NFL. Tua Tagovailoa is going to be a stud for years to come in both college and NFL.
Dilfer trying to take credit for teaching the winning touchdown pass when in fact Tua was taught that at Saint Louis high-school. They ran that play often. Give credit where credit is due.
He did help Tua "polish" that play. Of course Tua "knew" the play. Every qb tries it, and tries it in high school. But Trent really helped Tua get his timing down on that throw. Now....give credit where it's due.
Saban likes a game manager qb and now he knows he can count on tua when they need a game changer and maker. Both quarterbacks are good for each other to balance out the field and relieving each other. However, both playing style is learnable. tua has gotten better in his running game. So yeah it's being flexible and appreciating players.
That 60% isn't nice but ok I guess Haskins and Murray above these two imo. But maybe factors tied in bit J Rosen with ohio st could have put up lot of yds
ImNotMad ButUR I’m guessing you never watched the Kansas game or any of the games 😂😂😂 I like Tua I think he will be great but it’s a little early to say that
What a stupid statement,,,, Jalen Hurts got Bama to two National Championship games,,,,get real,,, yeah Tua is awesome and I think he will be our starter QB for 2018,,, but don't throw Jalen out like yesterday's news,,,,give him the respect he deserves,,,, good grief,,,
Seems to me, that Dilfer would have been a better QB if he really knew so much about what it takes to be one!! Only in sports talk do they hire people who weren't very good themselves as "experts". Very strange!
I dont know why people listen to this guy. He was a POS QB that was carried by a legendary defense and even got fired after the SB, that shows you how bad he was. But now looks like everyone has to pay attention when he says something, GTFOH... Ryan Leaf has more to teach with his bad experiences than this guy with his ring...
I think he have a shot even better than Rosen. I think we need to consider USC QBs as NFL busts except for Palmer. I say Cleveland trade that first pick, draft the running back at 4 and the next receiver at 9 and o lineman at late first. Trade for Alex Smith or sign Kirk cousins.
Never been a huge fan of Dilfer as a player.. But you can’t say he didn’t see IT in this kid.. Everything he has said about Tua, Tua has proven and even surpassed.
4 years later and you were even more right than you realized.

Wrong Duke Moose.. Alabama will be back again next year. They always do. Sit down son...
literally lost one game.

Tua is a special young man.

what makes trent better a teacher than say montana, peyton or tom brady?
Tua keep up the work play your game u. got going on
Very interesting insight. Won't get this in too many places.
Spot on

what your your thoughts now on the team division after 8 games this season?
is Trent Dilfer being like Steven Seagal, telling everyone "I tought him that kick"
That throw Tua made was something special bottom line. RAILSHOT!
well said about not wanting to know about transferring o
Love Rosen. He's Bommer Esiason. Perfect for the AFC North. Kid needs a challenge. Welcome to Cleveland Josh.
This post didn’t age well...

As far as Roaen i wonder how all the people who coached him why did he not know how to read defenses ? That's what Rosen to the media.

TUA is awesome. Better than that ass Baker Mayfield will ever be.
ImNotMad ButUR I’m guessing you never watched the Kansas game or any of the games 😂😂😂 I like Tua I think he will be great but it’s a little early to say that
Now Tua and Rosen are teammates
were are u hater
Tua is the next Steve Young...
I like Dilfer but holy hell what a homer
All I know is Hurts doesn't not have the passing skill that this kid Tua has. It was evident.
He doesn’t & prefer Tua to start.. but people act like Jalen just trash.. Jalen would start on 80% of college teams (power 5)
Lavance Doss 95% more likely tbh. 2 losses in 2 years.
What a stupid statement,,,, Jalen Hurts got Bama to two National Championship games,,,,get real,,, yeah Tua is awesome and I think he will be our starter QB for 2018,,, but don't throw Jalen out like yesterday's news,,,,give him the respect he deserves,,,, good grief,,,
This aged well.
Is Trent dilfer is better than dan Marino because he has more rings
No
I like your Style how u hurt Work this out some time take two double. QB now don't know how play us we got smart coach at Alabama
Seems to me, that Dilfer would have been a better QB if he really knew so much about what it takes to be one!!
Only in sports talk do they hire people who weren't very good themselves as "experts".
Very strange!
Do you understand how coaching works?
I dont know why people listen to this guy. He was a POS QB that was carried by a legendary defense and even got fired after the SB, that shows you how bad he was. But now looks like everyone has to pay attention when he says something, GTFOH... Ryan Leaf has more to teach with his bad experiences than this guy with his ring...
Tarcio Vinicius Nieri Great coaches and great players are rarely the same people. Teaching is a skill you need as a player.
Tarcio Vinicius Nieri Correction: "don't need as a player."
And WHERE is Ryan Leaf today? And WHAT is he doing?
"Aaron Rodgers type stroke" Jesus. Almost unfathomably delusional.
Sam Darnald will never make it in NFL
