After going through chemo and losing my hair, it's come back in darker with a grey streak in front. I thought I needed to change my makeup to accommodate my new "cool toned" color. Good morning I have to say I really appreciate you. You talk about doing make up for mature women and I like that, I’m 72 years old and I still try very hard to wear make up and take care of myself. I’ve watched a lot of RUclipsrs do make up and it’s beautiful but it’s not me. You are the first make up artist that has gave me hope on how to try new things for a woman of my age and I really appreciate that. And I like your attitude I have an attitude somewhat like this and it gets me through a lot. Life is too short to be serious all the time. People forget that in lockdown times all you have to do is dance around and you burn off a lot of calories and sad thoughts!!! The best thing of all if you're a widow like me is GET A DOG. My Pekingese named Kiwi is naturally splendidly and beautifully herself and wakes up Happy Happy Happy and getting outside with her is a responsibility and changes the whole day for the better!
Like you, I am a widow. Although I had an outside dog “Great Pyrenees”, my son thought I needed an inside dog (which I never wanted before INSIDE my house)!!! So, he’s letting me borrow his Saint Bernard. You’re right…you can’t just lay around being sad because our dogs are totally relying on us for food, water, etc. To finish my ranting now, a dog is an excellent idea for a widow! They give you companionship and love beyond your expectation!!!

My dad was born in Serbia and I inherited his southern medditarian sp looks which I embrace. My mum was born in Berlin and survived the holocaust and .... perhaps because there was no processed food around never needed a dentist and one of the most lovely women in the world. So it's great to have these different heritages! I agree I always learn something from Nikol's videos.

Nikol, I just found your channel. I’m 53 and really struggling with the concept of aging gracefully. I have always loved makeup and have been disappointed with how I look in makeup now with more mature skin. I’m looking forward to learning how to upgrade my makeup game so that I can enhance my appearance and not be depressed that I can’t get my makeup to look the way it did when I was younger.
I love your entire concept of makeup for us older gals, Nikol. I do think that being a natural beauty, as you are, does help. Your strong brows and "pillow" lips are half the battle. And, your hair! That being said, I appreciate the concept of makeup that is natural and blends in with the skin, plus some treatment. The order in which you apply is also different, in a good way...it makes sense. I totally agree Nikol. No rules 2022 here I come! No more I am too old to wear that (OK within reason). No rule that says I must only use black hair dye (because of my ethnicity). Six months ago I tried the lightest shade of Ash Brown that the salon showed me. That took some getting used to! It was scary exciting! I had some sort of rule that I would never wear foundation because it would ruin my skin. Selecting and applying foundation well involves a bit of a learning curve. Again scary exciting!
It's fun to watch the 'cut crease' makeup but I agree as a woman close to 60years I don't want the makeup to look like it's wearing me. Thank you so much for your wisdom and for sharing your knowledge 💖
I am 69 when I was a teenager I had beautiful hair and lashes as I have matured things have changed hair is gray lashes are thinner thank you for helping me feel beautiful again at any age.

I have home schooled her and her 7 year old sister, since they were three. She has learned to do skin care , draw and paint by You Tube tutorials. Our family are natives of NE FL, and moved our farm to SE GA, so it would be a thrill to shoot down I-95 to find your studio . The time you did your mother’s and your aunt’s makeup, I said , I wish . I am a bit younger than your mother , so I thought maybe there is hope for me ! Your mother is already very pretty, even without make up ! I will try your sleep aids. Thanks for the tips ! I did very well as a critical care night shift nurse , as I didn’t sleep well at night for years. You have a great channel .
Excellent video! So positive so common sense I too like RUclips and I watch a lot of different people apply makeup talk about makeup however, you Nikol are my favorite. It's such common sense that as an older woman while I enjoy watching some of the makeup applications I know what looks best on me and what I feel comfortable with and you have expressed that beautifully. I would like to learn about all of your products for instance I didn't know that you had a peach stick or a stick that covers up red on the face. I have never had a problem with discoloration right in the area that you're referring to I don't think it's rosacea I'm really not sure what it is I think it started when I started wearing these crazy masks in fact I know it did. You really inspire.

Excellent video! So positive so common sense I too like RUclips and I watch a lot of different people apply makeup talk about makeup however, you Nikol are my favorite. It's such common sense that as an older woman while I enjoy watching some of the makeup applications I know what looks best on me and what I feel comfortable with and you have expressed that beautifully. I would like to learn about all of your products for instance I didn't know that you had a peach stick or a stick that covers up red on the face. I have never had a problem with discoloration right in the area that you're referring to I don't think it's rosacea I'm really not sure what it is I think it started when I started wearing these crazy masks in fact I know it did. You really inspire.
