Hello! I’ll be riding this exact train to DC and it’s my first train ride ever. Is there a check in process or a bag check at all? Or do you just go straight to the station?
@@meghannhartman4758 There is no station in Roanoke just a platform so there is no checked baggage. . Have either a printed out ticket or one one your phone in the Amtrak app. I would be there at least 20 minutes or so before departure. The good thing is now you have both a morning or afternoon trip. Have a good trip

Yes there is a cafe car
