Malia McKay Same! I never went to a private school, but I made it a priority to go to church and youth group outside of school. I also went to Christian summer camps and mission trips. 😊
It definitely depends on where you live! I went to both Public and Private schools and thank goodness my parents had the money to send me to private school. The Public school system in our area left me feeling unsafe every day, and I wasn’t able to even learn in the class settings.
Hey Delilah, I'm not a mom but I've always been interested in parenting topics and one thing I learnt, which is think is great in terms of tantrums, is to 1. help children express in words: "Mommy understands that you are feeling frustrated/angry/sad that you cannot do/have 2. provide assurance: It is ok to feel that way 3. then provide support options: would you like to be left alone or do you want me to hold you till you feel better or would you like to punch it out on this pillow. I've learnt that not all children deal well with being left alone especially if their love language is physical touch like Theo for instance :) I hope that will be useful and interesting to you as I found it to be :)
Girl I resonate with so many of your answers. I dont homeschool right now I had planned on it but it just wasnt working for me. I wanted to put them in a Christian school but we couldnt afford it. I was so scared to put them in public school but I did and it wasn't what I thought. They love it and all their teachers are the sweetest my oldest wants to be a missionary and his teachers think its awesome and totally support him. They dont push any religion or anything on them. I am so thankful for the school we have near us.
I am not a “mama-talk” type of youtube viewer but I just love all of your videos. You have a kindness while expressing your opinion and I feel really comfortable listening to your advice. I am -technically- a wife and I feel that I know so many things already, for when I’m going to have kids. I am super grateful. God bless you and your family. ❤️
Delilah I look up to you so much! Not only are you a beautiful person inside and out but your an inspirational mother and truly devoted christian who thanks god for everything but also asks for help when you need it. I truly hope one day I’m like you your a great role model for me, thank you xx
i have the same fear as you. i’m pregnant with my first child and actively healing as much as i can, because i don’t want to traumatize her or raise her poorly. i’m so proud of your growth as well as your channel’s!!
Your videos are so inspiring to me. I want to be a mother but as a fellow Christian I am so afraid of raising kids in this world. Seeing you do it so fearlessly is amazing.
I'm curious as to what is being taught in public schools that you object to as a christian? honestly, the only things i can think of in my country are the evolution/intelligent design debate and possibly sex ed. Are those what you meant, or are there other issues to do with the general moral environment/teaching you object to?
@@LoeppkysLife Definitely! It would be very interesting to hear your thoughts, and how schooling in your area differs from others, both on a national and international level.
I can answer for myself because I'm in the same boat. A lot of it is sex ed and just conversations between kids. I'm totally fine with the evolution but I feel like the things talked about in the sex ed is too much too soon. They are changing what they are teaching here in California and starting as young as kindergarten. My kids don't need the birds and bees then. They need to know what appropriate touching is and how to say no to inappropriate touching. That's it. And as for talking amongst kids, my husband was introduced to porn at school and I would like that to not be the case for my kids, as well as other pressures. Obviously nothing will be perfect but we feel homeschooling will be better.
@@kaelatwede155 I understand you wanting to protect your kids, but I also feel like this is just shielding them from these things. If they aren't going to learn about it in a safe and educational environment in school, they might just educate themselves on the internet or not know about a lot of important things at all. Because at the end of the day children WILL talk about sex with their peers
I am a 26 years old mama from Romania (southeastern European country). You’re videos had always had the ,,power” of motivating and inspire myself. You are such an amazing, kind and beautiful woman (inside and outside). Keep the great job!! ❤️ P.S. I have a “turbo” 2 years old girl named Felicia (means happines) and we hope to extend our family soon.
Stay at home mom, working mom, or stay at home working mom - no matter what it’s hard to find time for yourself. It bugs me when people say if I could be just be a stay at home mom, all this would be different. I personally am a stay at home full time working mom and even if I didn’t have a full time job, it would still be hard to find time for me. And feeding every 3 hours was amazing for my family. Because of that schedule, my son has been sleeping through the night since 10 weeks old and he has NEVER had a problem sleeping by himself or putting himself to sleep. New moms, if you feel like you need to feed every 3 hours, then do it! Do what works for you and your baby not what other people think is best.
Dena McMullen I mean I could if I let something else fall to the side. 😅 Even, if I do find the time, I have to fill that time with another project for the house/family that is on my long list of things I should do. I know she meant no ill will, though!
i agree with the tantrum thing. we are there to help them figure out how to healthily express their emotions. whenever my daughter is screaming i ask her how she's feeling and she always says "sad" and asks for a hug. I always show her I am there for her and there for comfort if she needs it.
Delilah- I just have to say- I love you! I found your channel about a month ago and I have yet to miss a video. You give me so much inspiration! Thank you for being you!💕
Ladies and new mamas, trust me when I say I'm 68 years old raised two sons and babysit my whole life I have grandchildren. Trust me when I say the child will let you know it's time to wake up in the middle of the night to change their diaper or feed them. You don't need an alarm clock do that babies don't come with instructions. But they do come with a built-in alarm. LOL so moms and dads don't panic. We learn as we go. God bless you all.
First of all Deborah, let me say that you make me feel it's SO ok to watch someone way younger than myself hehe and second, thank you for the tip, will keep in mind if I become a mom some day. :p
Even if I am not a religious person, i love how devoted you are to the Lord and how open and confident you share your joy. You told you are a bit afraid of sending your kids to public school. What are things that are taught there that scare you? In Germany in public school we have religious classes. But I know it may be different in Canada/US.
You are so awsome! Not only as a mother, but as a human beeing. Although there are some huge differences between your style of parenting and what I would do, I absolutely adore, how you do things and just stand for what you do and think. Your children are blessed with such a mom! Especially BECAUSE you make mistakes, are afraid and have to deal with everything. That will teach them, that beeing human, with every aspect, every mistake and every fear is beeing the best version of yourself. You are not perfect. And that is the best thing, you can do for your children. You are really an idol to me. God bless you!
Finally someone who feels the same way I do about naps! I totally agree about feeling worse after the nap If I can sleep at all. Also found the newborn stage got less stressful when I gave up on trying to nap when the baby did.
I love seeing other christian mom channels. You're channel has a lot more views but I think as long as we get the word out there to encourage other people to be christian mother's...it's an amazing way to help others.
You are such an inspiration to me, you make me want to me a better mom and christian. Thank you so much for all that you do! Keep up the good work momma!
We are so similar, and our families are similar (I’m married young, have 2 babies, had them at 20 & 22, we’re a Christian family, am an introvert, etc.) that this video felt exactly like sitting down and having a chat with a fellow young mama. 💗 Also loved Winston in the background. 😂
Love your videos! You encourage me to embrace having my babies close in age! You are really an amazing example of a great mother. Also wanted to tell you that I LOVE your hair! It looks sooo amazing!
I am a Christian and went to public school, and I thoroughly enjoyed hearing other opinions/beliefs/ideas. I think it made me a more emphatic and understanding person. I believe learning other beliefs about everything just confirmed and made my beliefs stronger. I was able to be a witness to others, and I wouldn't have changed anything about that. My close friends from church who went to private Christian schools had the same exposure to 'negative' social experiences like drugs, parties, alcohol, sex, etc. I understand wanting our kids to be around like minded people, but I am thankful for my experiences and know my faith wouldn't have been as strong if it wasn't for my public school experience. Just my experience!!
This last Tuesday I realized what I am lacking is "me time." Being a mum is SO much harder than I ever thought it would be, and I'm realizing I need to take care of me along the way - in order to be better for our (almost) four month old and to be a better wife too. So my husband and I set up a night for me to just be able to do what I want after our daughter goes to bed. This last Wednesday I painted my nails in our ensuite watching RUclips mindlessly. It filled my cup much more than I ever imagined, and it gives me something to plan, and look forward to. Similar to what you two set up 💖
Delilah I couldn’t agree with you more on the what are you afraid of when it comes to being a mom. It’s truly scary because once it’s done there’s no more going back. Specially when they are about the size of Eloise
Thank you so much for sharing the spiritual part of your life as well, it cheers me up to know that Christ will help me in the future to be a great momma like you
hi, i just found your channel ... almost cried and i'm not even a mom ... you're so good 😣 God bless you and keep you , may his grace and his face shine upon you
Patience is something I pray for every. Single. Night! Lol. My daughter is clingy a lot too and finding the balance of showing love but also teaching independent play can be tough! Being a parent is the best but also so hard, it’s so nice you keep it REAL! I love your videos and how you don’t shy away from sharing about our lord ♥️
I am a christian and I have been to both christian and public schools. Both have great values, but I preferred public school. Both my brother and sister were bullied at christian school just for being different. If you weren't the perfect christian or perfect student you were bullied. Not saying that christian school is only bad. It was a good way to connect with god. I would say I had a better experience learning wise in public school. Don't be scared especially in Canada, the public schooling system is good and free. I don't think that public school should be excluded as a good schooling system. If you read this, love you channel! thanks for reading. and I am just giving some advice not trying to convince or force you to do anything.
I think it greatly depends on the school culture. I went to 3 private Christian schools. One Orthodox, great school community, very small and tight-knit. One was a traditional Roman Catholic school, very much like you described. The third was my high school, and there were theology classes and some modern Christian songs, but mostly it was just a private school for kids to eventually move onto Ivy League schools . . I certainly didn't fit in there, but I think these people were too high class to bully lol. I did also spend a year in public school. It was great at the time and I finally fit in, but that was because there were a ton of slackers like me who just wanted to smoke pot and hookup but I did not have any guidance at home. There are definitely pros and cons and it depends on the school itself and of course the child. I personally would prefer to homeschool my children but if that doesnt work out I will actually send them to public school.
My kids are 23 months apart my older one is 2 and I turned 23 this month so I love your videos because I can relate sooo much. This video is super helpful! All your videos are super sweet and I find them so relaxing to watch. Btw your hair looks so good! ♥️
Hi Delilah! Just wanted to say i ABSOLUTELY love watching your videos. And it blows my mind that you're just 23! I'm 26 now & aspire to be as good a parent as you are. Lots of love to you & the kiddos 💕
I would love for you to make more Christian based videos! I’ve been getting into Christianity a lot in the past few months and when I hear you talk about your connection and strength with our god and Christ it inspires me to be a better Christian as well!!💕xoxo
I think you are a great mom because you can look at your kids and you can easily tell they are good and very happy ❤❤ I love how you talk about parenting. I'm learning so much from you 💗
Lovely video - even in a Q&A, your videos always have such a calming, soothing aesthetics. Just wanted to say I agree 100% on the tantrums! We cannot appease our toddler while at the same time catering to the assumed views of strangers who might not even be thinking what we believe they are thinking.
I love the you specifically mentioned spending time with other moms/people *in person* to help you get through the tougher times. So true! My baby came home on oxygen and we’ve been restricted to not going out. I’m dying to meet other Moms and adults as soon as we can! 😧
When you said Eloise is only 2 and a half years old my momma heart cried for you knowing your baby is growing up so fast! Luna just hit 2, so I feel ya!
I went to public school my whole life and I don't remember anything being taught that could potentially be "scary" as a parent. Both of my kids will attend public school but we are also lucky that we live in an area that has good ones. I'm curious for you to dive deeper into this topic if your comfortable. ❤
Canadian public schools in many provinces have taken a turn for the worse in the past few years. Teaching Grade 1 students that "boys and girls" don't actually exist, instructing children under 10 about masturbation etc. I am not sure about Saskatchewan specifically, but many other provinces have gone this way.
This is very interesting. I have absolutely no issues with people being transgender or leaning about gender identity and the LGBTQ community. I want my children to always show love, respect, and kindness to others who might be different from them.
@@whohash83 that sounds very pretty and nice, but gender ideology is against science and reason, and schools in many countries are indoctrinating kids to think that way. You should absolutely teach your children to respect and love everyone. You should not teach them biological sex is irrelevant and they will choose what they want to be and experiment at a very early age. This is extremely damaging and confusing to children, and is just not true. Just look at what is going on with the children in England after they started teaching those things... The thing is, it is very cool to be a relativist nowadays. But the truth is still the truth, even when most people dont want to know it.
@@gabriela6584 I appreciate the thoughtful response. I suppose I just believe that children can start to feel differently at a very young age. It can be scary and confusing for them. Maybe if they were educated they wouldn't feel so alone. If my child was having issues with gender identity I would support them and hope they had the tools, education, and support system to navigate those feelings. I know not everyone feels the same way. That's why respectful dialogue is always appreciated. 😊
Baby blues actually only last the first couple of weeks (if that) after childbirth due to hormonal changes. If it was really bad and lasted several months, it’s more likely that you were suffering postpartum depression, which is so normal and okay! It’s helpful to be aware of because if you had it with one baby, your chance of having it with another in the future is greater.
Really interesting video, I turned to prayer more now than ever, we've a new priest at church and it's amazing being able to feel Jesus holding my hand when I'm in church x
Just wanted to say I have the exact same fears about being a mum (constantly praying that I won't do something to "damage" my kids, or drive them away from God), and also I totally get the struggle of being an introvert with a likely extrovert, clingy child! My girl is only 11 months old, so her speaking is just babble, but it is almost constant and VERY loud (yay experimenting with sounds haha), and she is currently at a clingy stage where she wants to be held or talked to or played with all the time! My introvert self sometimes struggles to stay calm, and I will admit I have hidden in the kitchen "making tea" just to get a few seconds of breathing space before she crawls in and finds me. You're doing an amazing job, just keep breathing and praying, and know that other introvert mamas are cheering you on! ❤️
I feel like we have so much in common. All of these answers were spot on for how I've experienced things as a mom. I have 3 kids and can't decide if I want more or not or if I just have chronic baby fever lol. I think the toughest thing as being a mom, for me, has been also being an introvert and not getting "me" time. I NEED alone time away from everyone every single day and I don't get that so it's hard not going crazy. I definitely feel better when I have a little crafty project going on, for sure. :)
You are such an amazing mom and I have been watching you since you started your RUclips channel and you really have grown from when you had your first child to your second child. And I love your videos
Love these videos! I agree with you on so many of these topics! Being a parent is hard, and having a clingy child is exhausting! I'm a stay at home mom to an 18 month old son, he is so clingy and is always wanting to be up with me or playing. I find it so hard to be patient sometimes! I'm an introvert too and it can be so mentally and physically exhausting.
I'm a mum of three, pregnant with our fourth, my husband is away in the military, and I'm a regular mum ... I've worked full time out of the home, from home and now I'm a mum but not working. I'm yet to find any of those allow me to nap or so much as drink a cup of tea or shower in peace 🙈 But for me and everyone else I know, we all agree that the jump from 2 to 3 kids was the biggest and why we have no free time, something always needs doing, or someone is sick, or wide awake at nap time etc ... So maybe that's it. But I don't remember naps before him either 🤣 x
I'm a Christian mom too, I'm from Colombia where home schooling is not an option so I genuinely have to either get a Christian private school or face the fact that public school doesn't emphasize on religion of any kind + it exposes kids to several Sex related topics on times I personally do not believe to be appropriate. Here we still have Catholicism be our "national religion" meaning most private schools are not Christian but Catholic so it's a bit of a challenge but one I believe to be worthy. I resonate a lot with most of your answers and deeply appreciate you putting your opinions out here even though it's not the easiest thing to deal with!
I am a christian that goes to public high school and it is hard because you have to filter through everything. It is also a good opportunity to grow in my faith and to spread the gospel to others, becasue i live in a place were there are only 2% of christians.
Great video 😊💛 would be interested to hear your thoughts on public/ private/ homeschooling more in depth, especially curious because im from the UK so I'm guessing it's quite different x
I just paused at the part where you say public schools scare you because of the things they teach children that as a Christian you don't agree with? I'm from Germany so I don't know what you could mean by that really? Maybe you could enlighten me :)
I thought I'd respond to this. I have the same feeling about public school and will either homeschool or opt for Christian school for my children. They are teaching transgenderism younger and younger now. Which is against everything I believe in. That's my main reason. They also use alot of computer teaching instead of old fashioned book and pencil.
@@landisr8966 what do you mean, being transgender is against everything you believe in? I don't even see how that would be an issue. I honestly don't know how that would be wrong on any level. Also, as a teacher in training myself, we need to focus more on digital teaching in schools! This is what all the research says. Because if we like it or not, the younger generations grow up with these things, it's natural to them and not picking that up in schools and actually being able to also address issues with that there and teach how to use media mindfully would be ignorant and a wasted opportunity :)
@@joana-cf1bs I totally agree with you and I just googled it and it pretty much says being transgender is """"wrong"""""" for christians because A) god doesnt make mistakes, B) god made two genders and C) Gender confusion is apparently wrong or something.. Not my belief system and I find it absolutely horrendous that apparently, some children do not learn such things because their parents don't agree with it
@@joana-cf1bs I do not believe in or agree with transgender teaching to our children. In my personal opinion... it is... against what I believe in. It's fine if you disagree. We're not all from the same mold...
@@joana-cf1bs to add... too much screen time for children has been researched and proven to have a Negative effect on their growing minds. Just because it's what you are presently being taught as a "teacher in training" does not make it safe for my children...
Not a diss or anything, but as a Catholic it's so weird to be worrying about bring done with kids-- we're 100% open to life so we're done when... well when we stop having kids XD I think that way is less stressful. Just live in the moment, enjoy each kid, and be open to having more. God will make you know when you're done.
New subby here! I'm a new mum and I love your videos☺️❤️ Also, my mom's name is Eloise and my favorite teacher growing up is named Delilah. Almost named my daughter Delilah. Thought that was pretty neat🤗
Just a thought. You are already teaching your kiddos and explaining hard things to them and working through those ❤️ so you are good at it! You don’t have to do school like public school, we do more of an unschooling approach which goes along more of the “flexible rhythms” you were talking about already! Just some thoughts to ponder, as if I had to do school like public school does it would NOT work well here either as we are also not rigid and do more of the flexible rythms as well 🙌🏻🎉
Delilah, I know that one of my callings from God is to be a home schooling mom one day. I’m 21 so I’m pretty close to your age but I must admit, you are so much more mature than me that I totally see why God is probably asking me to wait. I have so many things I want to do for the Lord, but I only became a Christian at 19 from a previous God hating atheist, so I suppose I have a lot of learning and healing to do before God can bless me with what He has planned for my life. I want to keep learning from you on how to be a godly women who fears the Lord, loves him and how to be a good wife/mother. Contrary to what the world lies to me about, I don’t want to be a man. I want to be a women. And as I women, I really want to do the only thing a man can never do- give life and be a mother. Please pray for me to mature and for my heart to change. God bless and hopefully I can meet you in Heaven one day soon :)
I believe as not only a RUclips content creator, but a mother, we are allowed to have opinions about what and where we want our kids to go to school. I don’t believe that people should be so quick to judge what she wants to do with her kids and where she would like to send her children. If we all had the same mindset, we would all be the same person, and what makes us different is having those opinions which we stick with. What works for some may not work for others
I am so glad I checked out your videos from Carissa Nunez. Your kids are adorable and I love how Eloise talks, so cute! :) I thought that was a blanket behind you until it moved! LOL :)
Any chance you could do a video on different activities you do with Eloise in the winter to keep her occupied? We are getting cold in Pennsylvania, and my daughter will be 2 in December. I'm kinda out of ideas for things to keep her busy this winter. Thank you!
About stranger's mean looks..besides them not having value for us and our situation, let's remember that we are interpretig their looks. We don't know what they really feel. Maybe they are yust surprised, or whatever.
Another problem with public schools in some areas they trouble with graduates walking in uniform for graduation where it had been a practice in the past. Some have made ROTC unwelcome.
Wow I think this is the first time I've heard someone say that it takes them more than 2 hours to fall asleep 😯 I have the same problem and most people around me don't understand because they can sleep right away...
I’m curious about what you meant about public schools. I’m studying to be a teacher in France, where Church and State are separated. We are not allowed to express a personal opinion or belief when it comes to religion (and other topics), as teachers employed by the government we have to stay neutral.
What do you think about the possibility of your kids going to public school as Christians and strengthening their faith in the face of adversity, so to speak, and learning to interact respectfully with those who are different from them?
The difference is, Delilah, that you need to validate their feelings causing the tantrum and yet remove them from the situation where they can spew all that negativity all over other people. So even at the toddler tantrum-prone years it is wise to ask what you can do to help and if that doesn't calm the child in any way, tell them that you know they are unhappy, but no one else present is. Everyone else wants to continue eating or talking or watching a movie or doing a puzzle, so the child needs to go into time out in their room until they feel better and want to join what everyone else is doing again. Often pure curiosity gets them out of their rooms and back with the rest of those gathered. But it is not acceptable for them to learn that other people are their emotional toilets. It is hard because the feelings, all of our feelings, are real and must be validated. Sometimes an acquaintance of mine takes his daughter to her room and just stays with her talking with her until it passes, whenever he can without neglecting his other children or guests. But mostly they need to self-soothe in this sense, too, and calm themselves down to rejoin the social unit, whomever that includes. We can never tell anyone not to feel hurt or anger or frustration or confusion or ridiculed or cheated or jealous. It just is. But, we all have to learn to deal with our responses to things from the outside world that may or may not have been designed to trigger those very feelings. It's hard, but so common in toddlerhood. She will understand that she has done wrong or been unreasonable or has disobeyed your rule about something, say if you were to take candy away from her that she took against your advices. All tantrums follow a pattern and must go through the pattern once they get going. So, the likelihood of talking them down from it is slim. But removal from the situation usually works and it is often for the reason that they are curious what is going on in their absence with the others gathered. Eskimos and other aboriginal peoples of North America are very strict about modelling how you expect a child to learn to respond to high emotion. If the children were in school or if you were also working outside the home their bedtimes would have to be stricter: not to the exact minute, but certainly not within a two hour time frame either. That's a luxury. Thank you for noting for the sufferers that baby blues and postpartum depression are two different things. Baby blues is common and postpartum depression requires help from your physician et al. You are right about possibly worrying too much. But, I think people in the medical professions tell people to track things because there are so many ignorant parents who would not know that the baby's life was in danger if they were not pooping and that if they are just not pooping daily then the doctor needs to know to monitor that, which could be that baby's normal, but unlikely. So it's better to tell someone to relax than it is to have to explain to them in a crisis why it is essential that the baby not dehydrate and that they poop and that their development, physical growth and happy temperament depend upon good sleep, etc. Remember there is a huge difference between desperately wanting something ourselves so asking God to bless it and praying for God's will to be done and that He will make it clear to you. You are so right about repeating what is expected when she is whining for her to be heard. Be sure that includes that she has to ask with her words in a normal voice. A whine will not get her what she wants.
I do get what you mean about public schools however I think it’s important that children learn about lots of different cultures and walks of life. I think public schools are good experience for a child and you can keep the Christianity strong at home. If you get what I mean?
kris Sharp I am just saying that a private Christian school will attract a certain type of person, a well off Christian, whereas a public school will have lots of different people from different socio-economic backgrounds. I don’t think it’s wrong to go to a private Christian school. I was just saying that public schools are still important and useful for children
Could you please elaborate on why public schools scare you? Or does it scare you that your children might come into contact with people from different backgrounds and beliefs?
@@lucinda.g Yeah I get that they would want them to go to the same place they both know, I just thought it is a bit strange to actually be that opposed to public school

Hey Delilah, I'm not a mom but I've always been interested in parenting topics and one thing I learnt, which is think is great in terms of tantrums, is to
1. help children express in words: "Mommy understands that you are feeling frustrated/angry/sad that you cannot do/have
2. provide assurance: It is ok to feel that way
3. then provide support options: would you like to be left alone or do you want me to hold you till you feel better or would you like to punch it out on this pillow.
I've learnt that not all children deal well with being left alone especially if their love language is physical touch like Theo for instance :)
I hope that will be useful and interesting to you as I found it to be :)
This is great advice!
Bro, punch it out on this pillow?!
Your straight hair looks so pretty and sophisticated ❤️
ShelbyRoyy I agree! So cute!
Are those what you meant, or are there other issues to do with the general moral environment/teaching you object to?
yeah exactly, that's what I was wondering... And even for those things, I don't really know what the problems would be really
There are deeper issues in the schools around here. Maybe a conversation for another time 😊
@@LoeppkysLife Definitely!
P.S. I have a “turbo” 2 years old girl named Felicia (means happines) and we hope to extend our family soon.
Aw thank you!!
Look at Winston! Thought he was a fluffy pillow!
I’m “just a stay at home mom” and I have no time for any of those things you mentioned. 😂
Soda Pop hahaha that’s what I thought too. 😅 I mean, maybe on a good day.
Dena McMullen I mean I could if I let something else fall to the side. 😅
Even, if I do find the time, I have to fill that time with another project for the house/family that is on my long list of things I should do. I know she meant no ill will, though!
Have you always had that nose ring!? How am I just noticing this!?!😂😂
i agree with the tantrum thing. we are there to help them figure out how to healthily express their emotions. whenever my daughter is screaming i ask her how she's feeling and she always says "sad" and asks for a hug. I always show her I am there for her and there for comfort if she needs it.
Can we please have more of winston? He's so so cute!!
agree!!!
Agree ♥️ I miss Winston being included too x
I love you when we, as women, have different views but still completely respect each other ❤️❤️ Thank you!
You are such a wonderful mama & I know that your kids will see that too. I love your self awareness too.
You are such an inspiration to me, you make me want to me a better mom and christian. Thank you so much for all that you do! Keep up the good work momma!
Definitely needed a video from you today! Perfect timing!!! Already been a hectic morning
My husband told me, as I started seeing this video: “When is she coming for dinner?”
Hahaha your videos are almost part of the family already 😊
Finally another mom that works full time and also is a full time sahm. It's definitely a different situation. Subscribed!!! ☺️ ❤️💕❤️
I'm not a momma, but I found you recently and love finding other women who are following Christ! It is my favorite part of RUclips!
We are so similar, and our families are similar (I’m married young, have 2 babies, had them at 20 & 22, we’re a Christian family, am an introvert, etc.) that this video felt exactly like sitting down and having a chat with a fellow young mama. 💗 Also loved Winston in the background. 😂
This is the first time someone has answered my question in a video, and it was from my fave RUclipsr 😍 have a great day, Delilah!
You are my inspiration for being a good sister!!!
I'm a 14 year old (Oldest)
you have great vibes and tips!!!
Similar to what you two set up 💖
It’s amazing what that time for yourself can do for your mental health!
Lol Winston be looking like a throw blanket back there 😂
miss ivvy 😂😂
Delilah I couldn’t agree with you more on the what are you afraid of when it comes to being a mom. It’s truly scary because once it’s done there’s no more going back. Specially when they are about the size of Eloise
Yes, I’m so excited been waiting for this since Tuesday!!!
Thank you so much for sharing the spiritual part of your life as well, it cheers me up to know that Christ will help me in the future to be a great momma like you
You look so great with bangs! It really suits your face shape.
Thank you!
My oldest daughter is 6 and she is so clingy! Always has been, I think its just part of who she is because my second daughter is super independent.
Okay I can’t get over how adorable your cat is in the background 😻😻
hi, i just found your channel ... almost cried and i'm not even a mom ... you're so good 😣 God bless you and keep you , may his grace and his face shine upon you
Patience is something I pray for every. Single. Night!
That’s amazing!! ❤️
@@excelinferno123 that's the same in the states. Its definitely not something I want my kids to think is true or ok
I love these types of videos! Also, your hair looks absolutely stunning. For whatever reason, your layers are looking especially cute today! 💕
Loooooove your channel!! And love your new hair! So pretty and fits you SO well!!
Even though I’m atheist, I enjoy watching your videos because of all the good mommy-advices ☺️
That’s great!
Love the way you ended the video 👌 thanks for sharing your journey with us 💞
Your hair looks awesome in this video
I love watching your videos normally I never watch you tubers videos til the end but yours I do I love them x
I’m so in love with your new haircut 😍
What your fear of being a mum is exactly the same that I fear. I do so much research on how to improve on myself and how I conduct myself.
Not a diss or anything, but as a Catholic it's so weird to be worrying about bring done with kids-- we're 100% open to life so we're done when... well when we stop having kids XD
I think that way is less stressful. Just live in the moment, enjoy each kid, and be open to having more. God will make you know when you're done.
Well said about tantrums!!
Great video and love your hair like this! As a mama of a almost 3 year old, I can relate to so many things you spoke about :)
New subby here! I'm a new mum and I love your videos☺️❤️
Also, my mom's name is Eloise and my favorite teacher growing up is named Delilah. Almost named my daughter Delilah. Thought that was pretty neat🤗
Literally everything you said I totally agree with! We have super similar parenting styles!
Love being so early!!
WINSTON! ❤❤❤
What works for some may not work for others
your hair is so cute!!
OMG I AM THE FIRST COMMENT I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!! This is an awesome topic idea! Can’t wait to finish the video!
I am so glad I checked out your videos from Carissa Nunez. Your kids are adorable and I love how Eloise talks, so cute! :)
I thought that was a blanket behind you until it moved! LOL :)
Love this! I just literally started a Christian mom channel
Worrying means you’re a good mom.
Great video! You also look amazing😍 x
Ps I adore Winston being a really cute fluff ball throughout this vid😂
Any chance you could do a video on different activities you do with Eloise in the winter to keep her occupied? We are getting cold in Pennsylvania, and my daughter will be 2 in December. I'm kinda out of ideas for things to keep her busy this winter. Thank you!
About stranger's mean looks..besides them not having value for us and our situation, let's remember that we are interpretig their looks. We don't know what they really feel. Maybe they are yust surprised, or whatever.
True! So true.
You look soo good in your short hair! 😻💕
Another problem with public schools in some areas they trouble with graduates walking in uniform for graduation where it had been a practice in the past. Some have made ROTC unwelcome.
My little brother and I are also 22 months apart and we are BEST friends. I hope the same for Eloise and Theo!
Wow I think this is the first time I've heard someone say that it takes them more than 2 hours to fall asleep 😯 I have the same problem and most people around me don't understand because they can sleep right away...
i thought that was just in the context of naps
Collab idea: Ashley Nicole Wilson, formerly known as Joyful Chaos. I feel like you two parent very similarly and are both devoted Christian moms.
I’m curious about what you meant about public schools. I’m studying to be a teacher in France, where Church and State are separated. We are not allowed to express a personal opinion or belief when it comes to religion (and other topics), as teachers employed by the government we have to stay neutral.
Garance E Je vois ! Merci de votre réponse 😊
A whine will not get her what she wants.
love your videos
I do get what you mean about public schools however I think it’s important that children learn about lots of different cultures and walks of life. I think public schools are good experience for a child and you can keep the Christianity strong at home. If you get what I mean?
There are different cultures in churches and other religious buildings for other faiths.
kris Sharp I am just saying that a private Christian school will attract a certain type of person, a well off Christian, whereas a public school will have lots of different people from different socio-economic backgrounds. I don’t think it’s wrong to go to a private Christian school. I was just saying that public schools are still important and useful for children
Your Hair! LOVE IT!
Could you please elaborate on why public schools scare you? Or does it scare you that your children might come into contact with people from different backgrounds and beliefs?
@@lucinda.g Yeah I get that they would want them to go to the same place they both know, I just thought it is a bit strange to actually be that opposed to public school
@@lucinda.g Well they do incorporate it in religion class, just not in the other subjects that have nothing to do with religion
It’s a bit deeper than that. It’s another topic for another time :)
LoeppkysLife it seems like you’ve touched on a nerve with your public school comment! Lol. I would assume most people who follow your channel were Christian, but that may not be the case. Great video, nice change of pace!
