I love the “extra” tips you throw in like best ways to use busy backgrounds by cutting them up. Sometimes the “why” you do what you do is just as insightful and useful as the “what” you do. You are a great educator!
Laurie’s, some beauties here, I like to add a little bit of cotton lace on a lot of cards I make. .? Tfscard I made, it’s just my thing. Great ideas goin on in that brilliant mind of yours
OMGosh!!! I think you fried my brain!!! I will need to watch THIS video several more times. To take it all in!! FABULOUS!!! Gotta go watch the background videos now. I make cards but dont do backgrounds. I use cardstock I dye. But THIS is way better. And I know will be fun. Love all these cards & backgrounds. Thx for video. And for making me LAUGH!!! Austin,TX USA
Great job on showing how backgrounds can be used. I think this is great, especially for those of us who have a penchant for gel printing. Thank you, Laurel, for a great video.
You are so funny! When I don't know what you do I use an embossing folder to jazz up the bg and that usually works out good, also gets me past crafters block.
Creativity just oozes from every pore with you. I am always amazed at how awesome your cards alway turn out. And I have to say that I chuckle every time you say your lazy when doing cards. 😅
I love all of these cards. When you put the white “hello” on the gold heat-embossed card, I thought you were done. 😄 But then you hit it out of the ballpark by adding the green behind the word and the green along the edge. That was a “WOW” moment for me!!! Great job in turning those backgrounds into some stunning cards!!!
want more info on filling your magic cup!!!!! unfortunately i have more low mojo days than woohoo days! I still feel better to do something crafty...thanks for sharing your fun energy!!!
It comes with 3 different sizes of tips! I've tried so many kinds of glue and didn't like them. "Until" Laura show us this glue and OMGOSH!!!! I fell in Love with this glue! Barely Art glue is Phenomenal. It comes with a long straight pin that you "need" to put in when you are not using it and and don't forget to put it in!!!! YEP!!!! I LOVE IT❤😊❣ Almost as much as I Love Laura 😁 She cracks me up and has so many creative ideas💡 When I wake up in the morning that's one of the first things that I have to do is; Make my tea and find Laura's newest videos ❤😊❣ She makes my days & keeps me inspired ❤
Thanks for this fun video, Laurel. I don't know whether it's to do with the (no-)brand of shaving foam I use, but I find it really tricky to stamp on top. I tried Archival Ink and Versafine Onyx Black. Any tips?
On the card you made with just the metallic spray on the black embossed background, what kind of spray is it? I think everything I've got is fairly transparent, that looks really opaque! Thank you.

Does the narrow tip come with the glue you use? I need one of those…💕

If you have some kind of stamp positioner, double stamp it. Because of the texture, it can be tricky so that's what I do.
Bearly art glue may be good but here in the UK the price is ridiculous!! £65 for 2oz bottle!! No chance
On the card you made with just the metallic spray on the black embossed background, what kind of spray is it? I think everything I've got is fairly transparent, that looks really opaque! Thank you.
Its from Nuvo(Tonic), Its a shimmer spray!
Where do I find "descriptions" where you say you will add the links below? I can't find anything!
there is an arrow underneath the video somewhere, i think it moved to the right. You click it and the description box expands so you can see it.
I am looking to getting a Misti. What size is the one you have?
I have the regular size. No the mini or the biggie.
what paper do you use
Laurel, did you lose your pressure tool? Lol. You were using your wrist.
No, sometimes I just quickly use my wrist, sometimes I use your tool! LOL
