    I really enjoyed watching the different ways that you used the word dies and I'm looking forward to trying some of them out!! It would be nice to already have some card fronts and/or word dies already cut out and ready to use. I think your favorite was my favorite also! That is a great idea to not poke out all of the small pieces and get a totally different look!
    You know, instead of cutting & stacking your word die 5 or 6 times, I use fun foam and remove the sticky part and put some sticker paper on it. Then, I cut the fun foam and the word die in the desired colors. That way if you can see any of the edges, the colors are the same. ( If you do not have the matching foam, use whatever color you have and then take a marker and color the edges of the foam in case they can be seen.) Then, adhere the colored cardstock to the foam and you have your diecut word in a Thicker foam. I use this method alot with my alphabet dies when making my titles and essentially making my own Thickers and love it!! I hope that this all makes sense!

  • @krisvanallen

    So with the embossing powder on the word die- I did the same technique on the numbers 7 and 5 for my dad's 75th birthday party. I found that if you dip the word or number into the powder really fast, while it is still hot, you can get another layer of powder without using embossing ink again. I did about 5-7 layers, and the edges got really cool looking and curved over.

  • @lauramartin7300
    @lauramartin7300 3 года назад +1

    I liked them all.. :) I tried embossing for the first !! Screwed up right off the bat. I inked the stamp, then I poured powder on it.. dah!! Have to Stamp it on paper FIRST.. Had to LAUGH cause I wanted to cry.. second time, did it right. I inked up a couple of numbers I waned to emboss. One number came out ok, not cover completely as i thought it would, but I see your word kinda came out the same way. So I don't feel that bad. But the other number ,didnt stick at all.it just blew powder away. Going to try again later. Thanks for sharing.
