      Howson. U said he went for it 2nd half. ON PAPPER. that team is good. But u don’t just send out players and expect them to do a job. This is global football. We need a proper system and style of play. Else no matter who he buys. There’ll be no fluent system no style of play. Look de bruyne is injured but the system in place at city is so sound anyone can come in and do a job.

    I hate when people say "who else can do this job". We appointed Moyes with years of premier league experience, Van Gaal who won league titles along with a champions league and then Mourinho who is a serial winner... And it hasn't worked. How about we get the best man for the job. Look at Bayern or Real, they've gone for who they feel is the best man to take over instead of the Hollywood A lister

      Do I get paid to make those decisions ? As smart as people think they are on the internet with constant tactic videos and breakdowns, the reality is iwe are just FANS and that's it. The board know the philosophies of the club so it's down to them to appoint the right man.

    Our board is to blame for everything. The way our poor club has been run is a disgrace.

  • @JMHx
    @JMHx 6 лет назад +60

    Jose is to blame for the terrible football and performances but the board are to blame for hiring 3 negative, pragmatic and defensive managers in a row since SAF retired.
    A DoF has to be brought in before Jose either leaves or is sacked so that they can put their philosophy in place which is the United ethos and DNA, so that they can get their scouting network in place so that only players who suit the United ethos are bought and so that they can collect managerial candidates that suit Manchester United's ethos.
    Ed Woodward cannot make another footballing decision apart from if he decides to sack Jose.
    Jardim would be the perfect United manager, he is low maintenance so the board would be happy because he rarely spends money and instead takes young players and turns them into, top, top players just like Mbappe, Martial, B. Silva, Fabinho, T. Lemar, B. Mendy etc so therefore United fans would be happy. He also plays expansive football as seen in the 2016/2017 season with Monaco where he took a bunch of 21/22 year olds to a Ligue 1 title and to the CL Semi Final whilst playing the most attacking and exciting football in Europe. Jardim In / Jose Out.

    • @fcrn748
      @fcrn748 6 лет назад +1

      Yup. Its not even mainly about the style of football. Jose can win a title if given everything but he leaves the squad worse off after that. And he has an awful track record in recent years with players doing so much better away from him.

    As a Chelsea fan, I’m speaking from experience of seeing Mourinho completely destroy Chelsea during the 15/16 season. Mourinho is to blame, no doubt about that. You’re looking at it the wrong way, Stephen. He is 100% the reason why Manchester United lost against Brighton because he created the disharmony within Utd’s camp, and within Utd’s fan base for the last 2 years. The result against Brighton didn’t happen just out of a blip, it was caused by 2 years of boring, crap football. Yes, the defence will take its share of the blame, but Mourinho also bought those two centre backs, what makes you think anyone he’ll bring next will be good enough for Utd? But the main issue is, there is absolutely no fluidity up front, and that’s Mourinho’s fault. Managers have a way of playing, a style of football. You can see how Chelsea have changed the way they play after 3 weeks with Sarri, Mourinho has had two years at Utd and they only got 3 shots on target against Brighton. Chelsea had double that against Arsenal and created many more chances that were off target (Kante chance for example). All I’m saying is, the sooner Mourinho goes, the better for Utd because it will only get worse from here.

  • @cameronmicahnyamuda8590
    @cameronmicahnyamuda8590 6 лет назад +38

    Although Mourinho should go,most of the stuff wasn’t his fault this game. Bailly was being stupid and he couldn’t stop him from making a reckless tackle inside the penalty area and from giving away a corner.

    • @YA-hm5zy
      @YA-hm5zy 6 лет назад +2

      The Human Lion So undermining his defence, constantly talking about needing a new defence, being overly critical will fill the defence with confidence.

    • @engespress
      @engespress 6 лет назад +5

      Mourinho coached the players and picked the starting line-up. It's his responsibility if the players perform badly at the end of the day. He gets the accolades when the team does well (Porto and Inter winning the Champions League), he should receive the major portion of the blame if they do not.
      And the attackers get off too lightly whenever the club loses. Yeah, Bailly and the other defenders let the goals in, but what about the attackers? How come they could only get 1 goal from open play? And this has been the pattern for too long. Only one goal or two goals or often ZERO goals. FA Cup semi - only 2 goals against Spurs. FA Cup final - zero goals against Chelsea. Who got bashed severely after that game? Jones, I remember. The strikers and other attackers, including Rashford, Martial etc flew under the radar.
      How many times do the players bring the ball to the final third of the field but fail to score?
      We should stop bashing the defenders severely and start turning the spotlight on the attackers.
      But mostly Mourinho is to blame. The players are not in charge of setting the strategy and they do not coach themselves. He IS, and so he is responsible for the dismal finishing.
      Man City against goals: 27. Man United against goals 28
      Man City goals: 106. Man United goals: 68.
      There is clearly a problem with Mourinho's finishing strategy.
      And don't say it's Man City's superior spending. The gap in spending doesn't account for a difference of 38 goals. *T-H-I-R-T-Y E-I-G-H-T G-O-A-L-S.* This is massive.
      And Mourinho has done *NOTHING* to address this problem. Nothing. This is why Man Utd lost against Brighton on Sunday. And why they lost to them the last season.
      If I were the owners, I'd ask him to improve the scoring. If he doesn't do that by the end of the calendar year, I would sack him.

    regarding Zidane on managing Real, yes he did have all the quality players but didn't Rafa or Ancelloti roughly have the same outfield players but achieved less than Zidane did. Remember Zidane brought Real to 3 CL finals. Its no fluke that. I really think ZIdane is a clever manager that can work with the resource he's given.

    • @aworenioladapo9469
      @aworenioladapo9469 6 лет назад +1

      Zidane had all the players he needed all at their peak. Zidane did not make a signing of his own and their form was not as good in their league.

    • @TheZain134
      @TheZain134 6 лет назад

      really? none of the players were at their peak when rafa or ancelloti was in charge? modric, ronaldo, bale, ramos, kroos, benzema, marcelo, casemiro to name a few. They were superstars who would slot into any 11 of the top clubs in the world. The difference is how you coach them to be on peak form and coach them to implement your ideas on the pitch.
      2nd. He won 3 CL trophy and one La Liga title during his two and a half years in charge to name a few. Thats good enough for me considering having Barca as your league rival. As a plus note, he promoted young players too like Asensio.

    • @aworenioladapo9469
      @aworenioladapo9469 6 лет назад

      Those players were already at perfect form with a lot of experience and I don't think zidane coached them into peak form. I feel its the kind of competition they were exposed to

    • @TheZain134
      @TheZain134 6 лет назад

      again. If Ancelloti or Rafa coached them into peak form, they would've won wonders. All coaches had same competiton which they were exposed to La Liga, CL etc. as you mentioned.
      My point here is, its the coach who will squeeze the best out of players. Moyes can't win with same squad Fergie left him. Bear in mind, that squad was champions the previous season. So I rest my case.

    • @aworenioladapo9469
      @aworenioladapo9469 6 лет назад

      the squad was on the verge on breakdown when ferguson left and his successors do not have the same quality as he did but jose mourinho does. He said in one of his press conferences that the players he met have been subconsciously used to losing.. that they did not have the winning mindset anymore he didnt meet players that would struggle to win when they were two goals down. But now he has built in that winning mentality into the players and the next manager when he leaves will meet players with winning mentality and names like lukaku, pogba, sanchez and all.. Now they have the mindset of winning. 4 years ago, 3 years ago we were not contenders for anything. We were not in the picture. Mourinho brought us into the picture and you are all criticizing him over a few losses. If you need to know about him read his biography on our official website

  • @tktheartist8330

    Adding attacking players to the team doesn't mean we are playing positively. If you have a bunch of players with no tactics whatsoever ( crossing and heading is not a tactic), they are not going to score any goals against a highly organized defence. We need a coach with a plan. With a direction . With a style.

    For my varsity team, I played for a very Mourinho like coach. I remember we beat the state champions by parking the bus and playing on the counter. I enjoyed the season. However, as a man manger i found him a bit cold. For my club team, I played with a Pep Guardiola type coach, and I loved it. Our team played fluid, attractive football and I loved every minute of it. He was much more involved with the team and was a great mentor. He was also much younger. Both teams had just about equally successful seasons, but I'd much rather play for my club team's coach.

    You can tell Mourihno has made United toxic since last season. Losing out to City 19 points and embarassed United in the CL with his poor team selection against Sevilla. And also publically criticising players to the media who have to listen to him and think this guy don't trust me. Even now his team selection is poor especially the right hand side. We not going to go forward with Mata as our 1st choice RW. Seriously he's made Mata is our first choice RW and he won't play Martial there. Lingard and Rashford play there sometimes. Martial would be 4th choice for RW and 3rd choice for LW. Mourihno treatment for the youngsters is also going to be downfall as he prefers aging experienced players. We need pace on the right not slow weak Mata. Jose refuses to allow United to attack besides counter attacks we look sloppy going forward.

      Bad finishing caught up with Mourinho in his third year. It's starting to do the same with him at Man Utd this year. There's a problem with his finishing when you realize Man City came first with 106 goals, and Man Utd came second with 68 goals. Low goals is a huge red flag. And you can't just blame the players. Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs all scored more goals than Man Utd. Bottom goals out of six top clubs.
      This is his blind spot. It's obvious to me what the problems with his coaching is. He doesn't seem to be aware of it. He spent all the transfer money on defenders and midfield players. Didn't get a top striker. A top striker wouldn't have solved his finishing problem but it would have helped.

    Mourinho is a defensive manager period. His tactics are make sure he concedes no goals. He has said that over and over in the past that it makes him sick when a goal is scored against him. So as you can see his whole setup is defensive, he looks to keep possession brake the opponent down score one goal and win 1-0. That is why the team is averaging 2 to 3 shots on goal per game were as Man City and Chelsea are averaging over 20 shots on goal. As you can see by the setup the midfield plays way too deep not allowing Pogba and Fred to get way forward in attacking positions because its all about defending and Mourinho does not know how to play any other way.

    Nice review Stephen, balanced and informative. The next game against Spurs will give us a better read on what to expect moving forward. I have more confidence in Mourinho than the Glazers or Woodward. We shall see very soon...there's a ripple in the force behind the scenes, no doubt. Ultimately it's up to the players to step up and produce on the pitch. Brighton did so with a lesser team.
    On paper, we have a potentially winning team. But it's what's in between their ears, in their gut and their hearts that make a championship winning team. Looking forward to the next game.

    The board HAVE backed Mourinho. The players HAVE played Mourinho's way. The fans HAVE given Mourinho the time. The only person left to blame is Mourinho himself. He's not the manager he once was. He needs to evolve and simply refuses to do so. We had the same problem with LVG. The only difference between LVG and Mourinho at this point is the name. We seem afraid to get rid of Mourinho because the "if he can't do it, who can?" mentality. There are loads of managers with experience, talent, and potential out there. Unfortunately, my preferred choice is busy making himself a club legend at Anfield, but there are plenty of managers who aren't the biggest names that could do wonders for us. Look at Pochettino. He was a complete nobody before Spurs. Now, he's established himself as a quality manager who plays brilliant football, the players love him, the fans love him. I'm still flabbergasted Giggs didn't get the full-time appointment after Moyes, but maybe thats because too many people were interested in his CV and not his potential and talent. Mou and LVG have amazing CVs. Look at them now.
    Mou was never the right guy for us. Only now the majority of supporters aren't lying to themselves about it. I don't want to keep changing managers all the time, but we need to find the right man first. Then stick with him.

    1) Always thought that most of these players aren't the ones he wanted but he was just told to make it work
    2) if player don't want to play for manager, it isn't just the manager that's suffering, it's the entire club. Imagine players revolting against Sir Alex Ferguson, are we going to sack him or get rid of those players, no matter the name?
    If Jose goes and Zidane in and the players decide to pull this stunt a the next year, you going to sack Zidane also?
    3) Lindelof and Bailly just had an off game communication wise but Bailly immediately lost his confidence after the second goal but Lindelof kept at it although he made a few mistakes that costs us.
    4) swap martial for [insert winger name here] because at this point it doesn't make sense to keep him.
    5) buzzwords and phrases like style of football, parking the bus cannot be applied to that game yesterday. Even Carrick was rolling his eyes at points so we know the players were fkin up left right and center

    You mention Perisic, Alderwield, and Willian as if these are football players that are massive difference makers. Willian !?! Balance!? Spare me no one is thinking Willian is a great right winger that you break the bank for so lets stop. As for Perisic, Spaletti made it loud and clear last season he was going nowhere and that he needed him at Inter. As for Toby, who is good CB that works well with another CB in Vertonghen. That partnership took time to establish and that didn't just happen out of nowhere. What everyone is forgetting to mention is we are talking about players who are a year away from 30. No one is running with a bag of money to steal these players away after United failed to get them. Like let's be real.
    Players like N'Zoni, Balogun, Lascelles have said the same thing when playing against United. They were amazed at how slow they play the game. How non threatening they are with the ball. This Mourinho system is not cutting it when you have players that played against United from none top4 teams say this. One player especially playing for Sevilla at the time. Jose's style of play is the main reason for this bad play. They don't even attack as a unit when they have the ball. They look like individuals in a pickup football game.

    It all started from Lukaku missing that chance in the first half, but that’s not was frustrates me. Lukaku’s positioning and runs off the ball is really painful to watch and I think he might just be a finisher with the footballing IQ of David Bellion and Lingard has a higher footballing IQ. Martial was given a chance, which most fans wanted, but did fuck all. Mata again as the winger, like WTF? I thought fans were hyping the 3-man midfield of Pogba, Fred and Pereira? I told you lot that sooner or later you will realise that it is still dead with or without Pogba. 4-3-3 against Brighton? That was dumb from Jose and should take the blame. Fred will free up Pogba? He played like Brazilian Cleverley against Leicester and played like the Brazilian Steve Sidwell in the match yesterday. We didn’t bring in a holding or controlling mid, which this disjointed team needs in the midfield, so we need to push these teams back with more attackers in the 4-2-3-1 formation.
    If Jose wants to use the 4-3-3 formation, Carrick needs to do a Scholesy and step right down to play or just fuck it and go with the 4-2-3-1 formation against these teams. I expected Jose to transform the midfield to one with a lot of midfielders who will bring in control and positivity. With Matic back, Jose should change the formation back starting with Burnley if he doesn’t want things to get worse. 3-5-2 formation? Not against these teams but maybe against top teams, why? It’s because the idea of Jose playing more defenders against these teams doesn’t make any sense. Do the wingbacks score and can they deliver good crosses into the box? No. Is the midfield a scoring midfield? No. Are the defenders dangerous from set-pieces? No. This means we would have to rely on Alexis and Lukaku for goals, but do they have that chemistry? No. 4-3-3 formation makes us more defensive against these teams, but no, let’s try the 3-5-2 formation (5-3-2 or 8-2 formation).

      Everyone in our team is underperforming, so how is Fred gonna make an impact and btw, did city play 4-3-3 against Huddersfield? So why is that 3 man midfield a problem?

    • @NoirFan84
      @NoirFan84 6 лет назад +8

      Told you we desperately needed a right-winger or else we should be playing 3-4-1-2 as we have the players for it. Mata's involvement was almost non-existent. Didn't really make a difference yesterday mind as non of the forwards did much but Mata on the wing has never been a solution. Infact, Mata I've never been much of a fan of, period, he's always been massively inconsistent & has long spells in matches where he just doesn't contribute anything.

    • @tombale6111
      @tombale6111 6 лет назад +7

      Jadeem Hall, the idea to use the 3-man midfield becomes a problem when you do not have the right players to play it. Firstly, this team is disjointed and we need to accept that. Now, since this is the case, these teams require a midfield that helps them play as one. Control and positivity, not one or the other, but both. City have a style, but have also got a midfield with control and positivity and we are wondering why they are this deadly. Our 3-man midfield always ends up being flat, what do I mean by this? All of them are on the same line. Now, when the CDM picks up the ball, you need him to be able to pick out the LCM and RCM as they push up the pitch to link up with the attackers, but what ends up happening? Pogba ends up dropping deep because he doesn't receive the ball, and everyone ends up dropping deep and I can remember a point when Martial was on the same line as the defenders trying to pick up the ball and carry it forward. Fred is a box-box mid with a good passing ability, but he isn't going to give you control. Pogba is an attacking box-box mid and do not rely on control from him. Matic, Herrera, McTominay are all sideways passers and Pereira joined the crew with his performance in the last match.
      Why did we play better in the 4-3-3 formation with Carrick, Fellaini and Herrera as the 3-man midfield under LVG? Do you think it's because of LVG's philosophy? No, It's because the transition would always happen with a player like Carrick on the pitch. You can rely on him for control and positivity and that was why Pep called him one of the best holding mids he has ever seen in his life after watching him make a disjointed team play as a team. Fred is an upgrade from Herrera, so why is Herrera still here? Ruben Neves, who is a controlling mid with lots of potential could have helped change the style, but we went for Fred instead. At the age of 21, he is better than all our CMs bar Pogba and he plays for Wolves. That's the problem. RM are disjointed like we are, but play with two controlling mids and a DM. In a disjointed team, you need a controlling mid, holding mid and a scoring CM, or can have two controlling mids, a conventional DM and a brutal attack force. The problem isn't the formation, but the personnel we have to play in that midfield. It simply wouldn't work. As Scholes said, transition is what you expect from United midfielders, but our midfielders can't do that consistently, not because they aren't good players, but they are not these sort of players.

    • @FreeBandz658
      @FreeBandz658 6 лет назад +4

      Tom Bale the formation doesn't matter it's the coaching that does. Pep played 352 against Huddersfield with Fernandinho RWB and won 6-1. He won the league with two attacking midfielders playing in CM, Fernandinho wasn't a holding midfielder until Pep used him as one. To pick on any specific player is stupid because the whole team was the same. I'm not judging our players too harshly because I know Jose is the problem, these players all look far better away from him. And says it all that a result against Brighton hinged on one chance we only got because of a mistake, why did Sterling miss countless open goals but score 18 goals. Must be nice to have a system where you create with ease and don't rue one chance. Jose is absolutely finished but no one wanted to listen the excuses keep piling up. "He needed Perisic, Pep has spent 500 million, he needed a CB, the players have attitude problems, how's he meant to win it with deadwood(that he loves and keeps). It's pathetic everyone can see he's finished and rival fans are loving it. Everyone except the top reds and Joses cult following, even LVG isn't playing this football with these players. We've gone down the experience route 3 times and it's failed, all the other top clubs who are run better than us are going for the young more promising coaches no one wants these washed up ex winners anymore.

    • @tombale6111
      @tombale6111 6 лет назад +8

      Carl Rees, we can play the 4-2-3-1 formation with inverted wingers or inside forwards i.e. the full backs providing the width as the wingers try to stretch these compact teams. Mata wouldn't be this bad if we had control and positivity in the game, he would have caused a lot of problems for the opposition with his runs off the ball, but why wasn't this the case? It's because of the midfield once again. As long as we can push teams back, which we can with the 4-2-3-1 formation, Mata would be fine drifting from the wing. However, with 4-3-3 formation, Mata should never be selected. 3-4-1-2 formation? Not against these teams if they keep it compact. We would need as many attackers as possible, not to be defensive and be a threat going forward, and have goals in the team, which is a must.

    Also whenever you see Martial and Mata starting you are in trouble, don't have the pace (Mata) or hunger( Martial) to compete in the current climate. We need 5 new players at the club for the start of next season, if that means shipping out Pogba then so be it. 3 defenders a right winger and a midfielder would improve us so much. It doesn't matter what he did at halftime, we were basically done by the time he made the changes and the starting 11 was awful for the way he wants the team to play. If you look at when Jose has had his most success it's playing a lineup with asynchronous wingers. Look at Chelsea for example he had Hazard who was allowed to stay high but he had Willian who when Chelsea didnt have the ball would almost play as RB which allowed the defenders to all shift over and allowed the LB to step forward to fill the gap behind hazard so it couldn't be exploited. With us in this game we had both Mata and Martial who didn't want to track back, this left acres behind them and left the FB's both with a problem of not knowing if they should fill the gaps left by the wingers leaving space behind them or to cover their position so when they stepped up they were exploited behind which dragged the CB's further from position but when they didn't there was plenty of space for Brighton to exploit infront of the FB's. And then you had the problem of Andrea's, he is a good player but he isn't a PL DM and never will be, might do a job in our European matches but in the English game offers the CB's no protection and when they are already being pulled everywhere by the FB's positioning they need that protection more than ever.
    That's the problem though with Jose, he has the way he wants to play and would rather try and force players who don't suit that role into the roles rather than adapting the tactic to fit the players he has available. With the majority of the players on hand it was calling out for a 3-5-2 with one of the players sacrificed (Most likely Mata) for a 3rd CB. If he wanted to play his way then he needed to choose between mata and martial and stick Lingard who will track back on the other wing and he needed to put someone with more defensive capabilities in over Andreas, Herrera perhaps or maybe Jones would have been a decent shout as he did that role a number of times under Fergie and did well (after all for much of his early days at United the debate was if he was better as a CB or a DM) just so we had someone to put their foot in and break up play letting the other players do the creative stuff. And I find it hard to believe he didn't know that was going to happen, everyone could see that the FB's were going to get exposed with the lineup, we saw it enough in the last game when we had Alexis who did track back as Darmian was at sea all game as Mata wasnt offering any protection so when you repeat that on both sides it seems obvious. Either he was arrogant enough to believe we just had to turn up to win by a landslide or he wanted some of the players to fail to make a point (He has done that before, usually his side grabs a win but gives him a reason to say 'look i was right about the player') and it ended up backfiring on him

    Jose Mourinho is not to blame at all. I will rather push the blame to the glazers, woodward and even the players. Mourinho has had a great spelll has a manager over the years and he has brought manchester united back to being trophy contenders. With the players he has to work with and their attitude, he said in one of his press conferences that the best environment for those players would be the world cup where they are shut in for a while just thinking football, breathing football and thinking of the next challengers as it gets tougher as they go. Players like pogba and some of our other young players do not have the discipline to play under mourinho. I feel they need to be more disciplined because as far as I am concerned, Mourinho is not a loser and he is the best coach I know.

Also a few players are too inconsistent, they show up against bigger opposition, but the likes of Brighton and Watford trouble us, which doesn't make any sense to me. I think that JM needs to go with Smalling and Lindelof with Shaw and Darmian (Darmian to sit while Shaw pushes forward). Lingard has to play (for his energy, his linking the play and his running beyond Lukaku) instead of Mata (Mata is an excellent player in a team that is playing well but he cannot change a game on his own). What about the centre back talent that is available in the academy?

    Mourinho isn't good enough at improving players. You can look at the board all you want but coaching is his main job and you have to be the best coach you can with what you have and give the players you are stuck with confidence. The amount of players he had at Chelsea that have just seen so much more development elswhere is astounding. Knowingly using players out of their position and holding obvious grudges where he ends up lying about a players work ethic to validate not using them. If you want a squad and be left worse of to win a title, give Mourinho the transfers he wants.

    Zidane - won 3 champions leagues which is commendable but if I had that squad so would I... Unprovern
    Pep - inherited a great barca and Munich side, payed over 500 Mill in 3 years for his team at City #reallifefifamanager
    Simeone - done good but not nearly as successful as mour, also wouldn't put up with our fans and our fans wouldn't like his style
    Poch - done good with what he's got I think he's very good, won nothing
    Emery - failed to win the league with psg in first season
    Klopp - like him won nout
    Mourinho - built porto, built Chelsea to success... Broke records in Spain against the best barca side ever
    Took a very old inter to a treble
    Took united to second only behind a brilliant man city season. And won two trophies
    Despite not getting back by the board (compared transfers from man shitty)
    Media giving him shit all the time and stiring the pot with pogba bs and the players losing faith bs
    Players not playing as well as they can, they ALL have a next level
    And his own fans calling him to be sacked all the time
    Does that help NO. How about I come and say you should get sacked from your job.
    TRUE man utd fans take all of this into consideration considering they will know about this because true fans take the time. Fake fans plastic fans/ glory hunters will want results now and will just spew bs out thier mouth without and real thought out reasoning... Unfortunately that's the world we live in

    Players were bad, Jose’s outlook on football and playing style is bad. But Brighton’s game plan and press on the ball after our first touch was excellent and we didn’t have the energy/fight to better it

    Howson is such a hypocrite, when he talks "before Sir Alex'es retirement then it's all about we were making profit on transfers so no wonder we are bad now even though we spent 400m since, but when Liverpool fans says net spend..." then that's not a valid argument. Pick your side and stick with it.

    Stephen, you cannot say he took the handbrake off and went for it, we were 3-1 he was forced to make those changes, the matter of the fact is, we should be starting against teams like Brighton without a number 6, why to we need 3 central midfielders against a side like Brighton, he never tries to win a game ever, if we are at city or away anfield then yes, play matic holding with herrera, play counter attacking football, try and nick a 1-0 or hold on for a point, but this is Brighton, and no doubt next Monday at old Trafford, he will keep it tight for 85 mins and we will be 1-0 down trying to salvage a point, it's a joke

    I still cant understand what can you like Martial for 🤦🏽‍♂️ he has 10% dribble rate, one way of shooting at goal, everyone know he always goes to the right to shoot or cross, bad cross, and he cant pass or cross with his left, just like Welbzy at the time 🙈🤦🏽‍♂️😔

    We need to drop Lindelöf and bring in Jones. Bailly and Jones proved themselves to be a solid pairing last season before injuries set in.

    Only people to blame are the people running the club, everybody knew we needed 5 players to catch city, their aim was clearly just to maintain top 4. Everyone Jose out needs to get their head checked, 4 managers didn't get the players they wanted. If we just bought 11 of the best players when SAF left we would of spent less money and have more titles.

    I would take the gamble with Zidane. Mourinho is failing because he is losing the dressing room. Zidane is one of the best man managers in the world, and I think he could get the best out of our star players.

    I blame the fans for not backing the manger not matter what , i blame the board for not buying the players the team needs and buying the players that they want and are happy just to settle for top 4 , i blame the players for their performance for their lack of work rate overall , i don't blame the manager because no matter who we get as manger things will not change until everyone backs the manger including the board

    If there really is a divide between players, manager and board.
    Then unfortunately I don’t think there is a turn around. I think history dictates that this is the beginning of the end of Mourinho.

    I would agree, there needs to be a point where the players are at fault. We made a lot of mistakes and gave them a lot of gifts. Sure there are times we can blame the manager but ultimately it comes down to the players to execute the managers plans.

    Jose is so full of excuses. Rather than try to coach players he constantly moans and moans and moans and brings a negative vibe to any place he's been. 3 years he's been here and we still don't know how we're supposed to play

    Every player has a bad game now and again....but when 11 players have a bad day at the same time...I can't help but look at the manager. Especially since it keeps happening. What should be happening is 11 players have a good game at the same time, which doesn't seem to be happening at all.

    Lindelof is the worst defender in the premier league, why are Utd fans calling for him to start?! No clue! Bailly and rojo should be given a run as they looked very good together 18months ago before injuries ruined the partnership.

    No excuse can be made for what we saw yesterday.A bad game is allowed or even a defeat with some below par performance but to have a full team with nobody having a rating higher than 3 is absolutely frustrating.
    In the business world people loose their jobs for something like this.If you do not hear you will feel.Jose,this is strike 1.#fixit#GGMU

    players replicate what they do in training doesn't matter if you have 10 attacking players but if the pattern of play is not there then you cannot do anything. what is our attacking strategy? what do we do to retain the ball? what do we do to force teams to give up possession? why when we go behind we don't attack to score?

    I don't blame the manager. He defines the formation and tactics. Then choose the best 11 he has to meet his ideas. If baily was scapegoat here, jose already hint he need a new cb but no one arrive till transfer market close.
