      RealTalk Barca,
      you're joking right? Barcelona had 8 different victories of margins greater than 4 goals last season, you scored 99 goals in the league alone, more than any other team in La Liga.
      Mourinho's United only have 129 league goals since the start of the 16/17 season.
      they're not remotely comparable.

    This is why so many football fans are drawn to fan channels or have decided to make their own content. These journalists offer almost nothing insightful or thought provoking anymore. Always see this cliché dinosaur thing banded about yet nothing to explain how. Whether it's about journalists or managers. Just another boring bandwagon by fans who haven't quite got a clue about their own opinion.

    • @jamesw3546
      @jamesw3546 6 лет назад

      MrGts92 I explained how, though. As I stated, they offer virtually nothing new, insightful or thought provoking. Just the same old, tired opinions re-worded over and over. These journalists have a platform on a national sports channel and are supposedly some of the best in the business and this is what we get? It's just not interesting to watch. There are still some excellent journalists out there of course but Sunday Supplement is basically moribund these days. Hence me saying more and more supporters are turning to fan based media. I used to enjoy the show - I've watched it for years. But nowadays it's just flat. Having to sit through grown men like Neil Custis sulking because another journalist had the audacity to question his opinion is all rather embarrassing if you ask me.
      Just because you don't agree doesn't mean I don't have a clue about my own opinion. What a stupid thing to even suggest. If you disagree with me and criticise me for not saying 'how' then at least apply the same sense of scrutiny to your own argument.

    The club of Manchester United was literally, predicated on possessing an enterprising and exciting style, in order to provide a sense of escapism for the working class population of Manchester; Mourinho is the antithesis of such - he was, and is, an awful fit for Manchester United. Ideally, Pochettino would be a fantastic fit; however, he appears to be sticking with Spurs... which is a great pity. Read up on the history of Manchester United and it's inception in regards to the actual city, and population of Manchester - it'll give you much needed context to the anti-Mourinho sentiment.

    Of course Jose Mourinho deserves the criticism he receives, he is the manager, called himself the special one, has chosen very negative tactics and had go's at the best attacking players.
    Alyson Rudd thinks Pogba was out of order for being honest when asked a question, and as to who should replace Jose, to me it has to be Simone, he has done great at Ath Madrid, bringing a mid table team to challenge the big boys in Spain, and play a way that would be much better to watch that Jose's style of play, also Simone works well at bringing young players through and bringing the right players in, he is also very loyal to his club.
    And Neil Custis should take his rose tinted glasses off regarding Jose.

    A lot of great managers don’t keep up with the change of the game unfortunately and there is so many of them. Alex Ferguson, Carlo Ancelotti, Pep Guardiola to name a few are the ones that adapted with the game. Mourinho was a manager when we we’re transitioning from the 4-4-2 to the 4-2-3-1 formations in which Mourinho mastered it. But then came the fast paced game where 4-3-3 is beginning to dominate and Mourinho and Wenger and them begin to fade away. Also man management is different now. Players chose who they get sacked if they don’t want to play for you. Mourinho is very critical and direct and players are now just little fairies. There’s a long line of brilliant managers who sadly were left behind in the times. Fabio Capello, Sven Goran Erickson etc.

  • @kevintaylor9560

    Comment number three . When was the last time mike Ashley invested in his team ? When was the last time he put his hand in his pocket and helped a manager actally build a team rather than sell to make profit . How many years . Rafa is right . His owner , his chairman , is running the club as a business model for himself and ergo his shareholders NOW rather than helping his managers build something . When was the last time Ashley even allowed the amount he got in from players to go to getting replacements ? I haven't seen them invest significantly since keegan got shearer . It isn't just rafa that got no backing . It's every manager under Ashley . THAT is what the fans are unhappy about . Ashley has made Newcastle a selling club when the previous owners had them as a top four club . Ashley has turned their seasonal requirements to making the shareholders money instead of looking to them becoming a top club again or maintaining their position as a top club . If it happened at Tottenham right now , I'd be as offended with the club I supports management as Newcastle fans players and management are with newcastles board right now .

It seems to me when the going gets tough Ozil goes and hides. Either that or he gets bad periods. He's definitely not earning the 350 grand a week we stupidly agreed to pay him.

    Chelsea fans never complained about Mourinhos boring football cause it payed off. Ok, Chelsea never played as boring as United are doing now, but they were still pretty boring. Chelsea fans never cared. The best balance is of course if you do it as Guardiola - win things and entertain at the same time. But there are not many managers that can do that, and Mourinho has never been someone that entertains.

  • @wolfcrewe7474
    @wolfcrewe7474 6 лет назад

    I'll tell u why a football player with 8 minutes premier league experience is getting an England call up, it's because there has never been a time in english football where the pool of players to choose from is so small. There is also a case of English players not being given the opertunity. They are constantly loaned out season after season to championship and lower league teams until they are 21/22 and usually sold on. That could be down to foreign managers and/or lack of opertunity to English coaches who would give them more of a chance in my opinion.
    Look at Germany, Holland and Spain, they blood their youngsters early and have B teams who play in competitive leagues. Their squads are full of young players from their respective nations and by the time an English player gets given a chance, the players who've been blooded early have played nearly a hundred games. Its especially evident in Germany.
    It won't change as the political landscape won't allow the tough decisions to be made in order to aide the national team. Instead of so many domestic based players in the squad, have English or British born players in the squad.

    You can talk about results all day, but in the case of Mourinho at ManU, the results haven't been that great. Okay, winning the Europa League and the League Cup is nice, but those prices are not the greatest prices in the world. So I don't think it is crazy from fans to expect ManU to do even better this year, especially because ManU hasn't sold any players that contributed to the successes of last year. But instead of building on the successes of last year, Mourinho is moaning, moaning and moaning. I can fully understand that United's owner are not going to keep on giving money to him. He signed Bailly and Lindelof, so it's up to him to make those players perform. I they don't, that's Mourinho's mistake, either because they should never have bought those players, because they are not good enough, or because Mourinho is not capable of turning talents into world-class players. But instead of making players better, Mourinho just moans on and demands more and more pricey players and, and this is the worst, when he doesn't get them, he doesn't keep his dissatisfaction inside, but instead makes it clear for everyone to see. That, then, has the consequence that players like Bailly and Lindelof lose their self-confidence because they feel their manager thinks they are not good enough. This makes them play even worse, which then leads Mourinho to playing a midfielder at centre-back, which creates even more problems (look at Herrera's position at the 0-2 against Spurs). There are very good reasons why Mourinho isn't getting more money from the owners and why he is distrusted. If he just stopped moaning all the time and started to try to make the players that he has better, than maybe ManU could start getting some good results again. Until that time, I wouldn't be suprised to see them slipping down the table more and more and more... and honestly, I would laugh about that!

  • @barryispuzzled
    @barryispuzzled 6 лет назад

    Pogba gives the ball away and needs to focus on his game instead of chasing megabucks and broadcasting his playacting on social media. He's the main player who has let Mourinho down. Sanchez (gives ball away too much), Lindelof (not strong enough), Jones (too many errors), Lukaku (needs to improve his finishing), but at least Luke Shaw has got his game together. On top of all that, Woodward decides that a top four finish is enough to keep the cash coming in whereas Mourinho and the fans want trophies. Woodward has undermined the manager. Huge blunder. So Mourinho who is now under tremendous pressure is baited by the tabloid journalists in press conferences and he gets testy. Why is that a surprise? What human being wouldn't feel stressed when so much is undermining his task.

    Neil Custis is such a hypocrite. Spends it all defending Mourinho and his boring football, but then says united fans were allowed to dislike Van Gaal because he was boring. Pick a side FFS

    • @UnitedJimmyV
      @UnitedJimmyV 6 лет назад

      Excelsior32 to be fair, LVG was much worse to watch. Now we at least have the illusion of intent about half the time. Under Van Gaal we *truly* parked the bus and played defensive football because possession was more important than scoring goals. All too often the ball would rotate between the defense and defensive midfielders. Now, we get the ball forward and lose it before a chance can be created or just don’t have it all together. The one thing I can credit LVG with over Mourinho is he had a clear tactical approach and got players in who fit that. Ultimately though, that does not matter because we did not get results and played the worst football we’ve played in recent history.

    We know they have won the secondary competitions, but do they beat the better teams in the big competitions? Do they compete with Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea and City ? Do they bollocks

      Is that why they beat all those teams last year and were only behind City last year?.

  • @kevintaylor9560
    @kevintaylor9560 6 лет назад

    Comment number one . Everything about the first 10 minutes plus is has ozil done his job ? How many years now has ozil been one of the top assist providers in Europe? Look at it mathematically . If you compare ozils assists last year and the year before to debruyne based on the number of shots and goals scored from his assists , versus the lauded de bruyne silva erikksen mata hazard caan Henderson etc etc etc , how does his assist ratio compare to those players ? How does his CHANCES created ratio compare to those players ? Use stats accurately . Ozil isn't just one of the best providers in England , but one of the best in Europe . He perhaps is the only person at arsenal right now fully justifying his paycheck with his performances across an entire season . That's why arsenal bought him from real madrid , and it seems to me the fact he's maintained his chances provided stat is the only stat that's relevant here , and he's justified his price tag . I'm a spurs supporter , and I would swap erikksen or dembele for him any day of the week .As good as they've been , Ozil has proved for years now that he's one of the best creators in Europe . Well done mezut . Second point about that . If any of you journalists were suddenly asked to go and work in the mailroom , would you instantly be as effective as the people that have worked in the mailroom for years ? The answer is no . Adjusting to new styles of play for a footballer is no different . There's a significant learning curve , for both the players and the manager . Give both sides time , management and players .
    And to be candid , the way supporters , and arsenal boards , treated wenger after he kept arsenal in the top six , and it is not a top four but a top six , over two decades , was offensive , but that's our dynamic now . Don't look at facts . Don't look at events inhibited or benefitting a team . Demand you get everything you want from your team irrespective of inhibiting or benefitting factors . It's emotional responses not intellectual . The game is different now . Teams get bankrolled now to such ridiculous extents that any team can suddenly become the best team in the land 'cos they can manipulate their finances to sepnd 300 million in a season on players .

    After spending 400m in transfers at 3 years time in a team that wasn't a mid table team, and if given the freedom he would spend at least 700m, ABSOLUTELY YES!
    The guy is a clown who lives for attention and feud . First we thought he likes the feud between rivals, them we thought at knockout games, then with the club hierarchy, then with the club's legends...but he has a feud with his own players, his own skin and Old Trafford's grass.
    Do you see the same tactics in any other successful manager? Zidane? Klopp? Pep? Do you think Sir Alex would allow anyone to DISRESPECT the club the way Jose does? There's never been such an outrageous situation in big 6 of PL...i apologize...there's been, and guess what? It was the same Jose at Chelsea doing the same antics.
    He cannot accept the fact that football has evolved, the players have evolved, the tactics, the referees, the clubs...everyone around him except him. His ego is too big to accept that he's been outdated and cannot follow the evolution of football or bring new ideas in terms of tactics.
    Should be gone after Spurs clash win or lose.
    The guy bought 2 central defenders and instead of coaching them and make them better month after month he's been destroying them either way.
    The players doesn't have a clue what to do when they receive the ball, they are nervous and have disbelief in themselves because of Jose, because of his inconsistency.
    Jose Mourinho go back to Italy and stop attending press conferences...press "Sent Assistant"!!!

    • @MrGts92
      @MrGts92 6 лет назад

      Jose wanted Bailly and not Lindelof. And managers don't buy players. And you can't really coach a player who's always injured. On top of that SAF had 4 strikers and still wanted RVP and got him.

    • @nicolasazoidis9064
      @nicolasazoidis9064 6 лет назад

      Jose bought both Bailly and Lindelof...they weren't summer gifts. Managers buy players, not fans. If you are a Real Madrid fan then yeah, president buys the players he want, not the manager.
      When SAF bought RVP he was playing with 2 strikers and his first team options where Rooney and Berbatov(31). The other option where Chicharito (24 and unproven) and Welbeck (21 and unproven), so yeah he did buy RVP but under other circumstances and he won the league that same year with RVP first scorer and Rooney second.
      And SAF NEVER spend so much on players in a single season, he didn't even bought Lucas Moura for 30m saying "It's too much money for a young player".

    Ozil is the highest class player at Arsenal... usual nonsense from idiots like these. Yes Ozil is probably the best technique wise but he is not good enough a lot of the time in the other areas of his game that really matter in the premier league. He simply can not drag us through a game, its not his fault being a certain type of player, but the reality is that being a specialist playmaker he will only be really effective in a team that is specially built around him. This was one of Wengers many big mistakes. It was a huge mistake giving him his new deal UNLESS we can sell him for big money.

    • @Trigga_47
      @Trigga_47 6 лет назад

      The difference between KDB and Pogba is one has an ego the other doesn't. KDB can play in any position and still put the same hard work to it. Pogba has to only play a specific position in order to put an effort to his game.
      Pogba against Smaller teams he treats those games like they are a joke and starts getting cocky, trying to dribble and out strength 3+ players while KDB keeps the same effort even though it is a much weaker or stronger opponent.
