1997 Wexford Stages Rally

Local driver Eamonn Boland was still searching for his first win on his home event but everything came right for him in 1997. In a then state of the art Ford Escort World Rally Car, Boland flew into a commanding lead comfortably outpacing his rivals. It was to be first of 8 wins for Eamonn on his home rally.
