Mu sad and grandad did this in a Peugeot 205 RWD 30:27
Andrew hitting erase on his on laptop before the onboard camera could be recovered
Is that what happened ? Never really understood what went on there, Nesbitt seemed to fly in donegal. Great rallying back then!!
@@theflyingsquebber There's various versions of what happened, one thing that is certain is that Andrew's in-car footage went missing, along with some fan cam footage as well. Iam sure somebody beyond Andrew knows what really happened, he's dodged the question a few times when asked on rallying podcasts.
@@arsebusquets2436interesting! thanks for the reply👍
The Donnellys were some plots

Tarmac Rally …
⚖️
8:25 first time I seen Jari-Matti Latvala who went onto WRC success
Wow
Crazy to think I was only 4 year old on that wee red go kart at the start sitting in mckinstrys service
Such a shame this even no longer runs - its needed now more than ever as it was a great way for kids to get introduced to the sport, where they could be on a bouncy castle one moment and watch a WRC blast round the park a few moments later. We didnt know how good we had it in those days with a WRC team in Lurgan Park.....could only dream of that now!
I think the problem is people don’t like today’s cars anymore. In those days rally cars were what people could relate to.
Best rally ever
Like the video and seeing this classic rally cars what good looking cars they were and still are and you also see this classic cars in most modern video rally and driving games which is great 👍😃

0:17 I was at that jump, I had the chunk of front splitter from Donnelly’s car you can flying off. It was fibreglass with a Kevlar backing and had a cool plaque saying “TTE Corolla WRC AND WRC 99 lower front splitter”
