I just picked one of these up today. I got the Dreadnaught model. I have never been a fan of Yamaha guitars, and almost didn’t buy it because it was a Yamaha. But when I went out searching for a guitar today I told myself I wasn’t going to let name brand change my mind… so I didn’t. Beautiful sounding and playing guitar, and the built in affects are awesome too!
@@mandrew20111 Yes that's why I go for the dreadnought too... I bought my Yamaha LL TA in Feb 2018.. It was a brilliant guitar until last summer when I took it to a tech for a fret dress. It's never sounded or felt the same again because the first 4 frets were taken down too low..(it will probably need a full re-fret to restore the sound and playability)... I have a new one coming tomorrow from Guitar Guitar... I considered the LS but stayed with the LL because I need a full on rich bold tone which the LS falls a touch short on for my style.. I was just curious as to why you chose the dreadnought as well.. Thanks for you reply.
I've been looking at this guitar for some time now. Your great video gave me the nudge I needed. I ordered one from Sweetwater. I can't wait for it to arrive. 😊
I bought the first one I found. Exactly that guitar, LS-TA sunburst. It’s the only non-drednought I own and I play it most frequently. It is a little bit weird that my little guitar outweighs my dredes but so comfortable and easy to fret. Now if I could just make it sound the way Meg does…….
Very nice presentation! Beautiful guitar. Would be weird to use this in a guitar / singer situation with reverb on the guitar and none on the voice. Even so if I were in the market for a guitar this would top my list. Reasonable price and Yamaha quality make this an easy choice. Is it made in Japan?
Do you still think the LST is a good guitar I have a chance to buy a used one for 550. Trying to decide if it’s worth the drive to go buy it from this guy.
hello! i'm see you scream, so i'll tell you. The best way to decideis going to the shop and trying both. you'll feel the difference and which suits better for you. guitar like a friend it's a personal preference
If you are running into an amp I highly recommend the TC Electronics BodyRez pedal. Really brings out the richness of every guitar I’ve plugged into it.
I still do not understand how and why Yamahas quality constantly falls through the cracks. Granted they are tarnished w the “beginner guitar” name but if u actually give a high end Yamaha a chance, I got news for ya, they’re way better than the other two😮 main Cookie Cutter brands who pool all of their money into models that are $10,000 and up for their famous buddies, therefore the midrange models are lacking in quality pretty significantly. I recently got a $2100 Taylor and had to return it. You’d swear it was a $250 starter. Martin is def slightly better, but they also skimp and cheap out big time on the mid range instruments due to them focusing too much time and energy for the important people. This Natural LS-TA not only stays in tune just as good if not better than my j 45, but it is waaaaaay more comfortable to play. And need I say anything of the Trans tech? I mean it’s just incredible. I’ve been playing 27 years and recently, guitars (acoustic) in the $2000-$3500 range have gone down in quality so significantly that u can now tell from just looking at it. I’d put this Yamaha up against any axe out there $3500 and under and will beat u. Don’t be scared. Oh btw GET ONE OF THESE

What was your reason for going dreadnought instead of the LS like in the video?
@ I like my acoustic guitars loud and the bigger body gives me the volume I like 👌🏼

best demo I've seen on the instrument
Absolutely love Yamaha acoustics. Nice review and (as always) lovely playing, Meg.
Great playing Meg. 😃

So nice so nice👏👏👏
Good afternoon. In doubt between this model and the Yamaha ac3m all solid. Which friend considers to be of the best quality.
They are quite STUNNING, but do they have an onboarding tuner?😮
No, no display, just small knobs, almost flat to the body
What tuning are you using? G?
I want one!
Very nice presentation!

Did you take the long drive ? I'm getting one next week unless they've sold out 😢
No. I decided not to go get it.
Thanks for the review
Do you know how to remove the plastic overlay around the TransAcoustic buttons without cutting it
The three buttons lift off their axles and press right back on once the plastic is removed.
It bends/pulls off easily. I'm sure you've figured this out by now tho
What is the Best acoustic electric guitar between LS-TA vs Fgx800c? Please answer me ..from Philippine here.

Yamaha always never been wrong
I have that guitar but cant get near that sound plugged into a nice amp..what are you using..i see that your miked
The UST is ok but none of them are great. A mic is better.

Actually the Martin CEO 7 I will not go up against lol. That’s the best guitar ever made

HM ?
I wish you didn’t play in front of the mic because then you can’t really hear the guitar
