My Visit to HORSEY In Norfolk - The Best Place For SEAL SPOTTING!

- This is a 4K walking tour of Horsey Gap - one of the best places to go for seal spotting in the UK. Visitors will be stunned by this huge stretch of sandy beach on the Norfolk coast just down the road from Great Yarmouth! You can see the cute seals all year around but especially in the winter months when the pups are born. This is not your average seaside tourist destination!
To my surprise I also come across a nearby hidden gem, Poppylands tearoom with its amazing world war 2 theming! Of course I stop for a coffee!

Was there 2 weeks ago and there was about 400 between 2 groynes! It was awesome. Was there in late November too and saw the mums with their babies. Truely an awesome sight and an absolute privilege 🥰🥰🥰

Just commented on your Winterton on sea video. A trip to Horsey Gap and to see the seals is on my to do list while on hols in Winterton in 10 days. I've never seen a seal colony in person, only on wildlife documentaries. Can't wait.

The seals that have passed just get left on the beach, no one clears them up. It stinks the beach out and the RSPCA etc wont take the dead seals away.

@@jackryanmiller unfortunately it's how nature works!
To stay at least 10 m from seals as you say is much too close. Being that close causes stress to them and can scare them back into the water before they had a chance to rest and recharge. Also, that is close enough for them to attack a person. Please reconsider your advice and change it to at least 30 m or even better, 50 m. Animals are not toys.
Thank you, I was directly quoting the guidance from their official website and the guidelines from Friends of Horsey Seals which states 10m. There are wardens on the beach at all times making sure that they are complied with.
