Fantastic video, beautifully done! I love this place. It looks very magical, and with that tree right in the middle. You wonder how things were back then, when the church was the place of gathering for the community. What secrets, and tales have been buried there. You really transported us, thank you!
Ahhh David thank you so much for this lovely message. I’m totally with you. I love imagining what the people were like in these amazing buildings. So glad you felt the mystery like I did!
Wow, Wow, Wow... stunning. Beautifully filmed Evelyn. Really enjoyed this. Wish it was closer for us to explore for our own channel. Looking forward to more.
Thaaaaank you!!! Someday, if you can, go do a trip to Norfolk there are SO MANY crazy incredible places. Look up All Saints Church in Billocksby. It got struck by lightening in the 1700s. The crack is still there. Bananas!
Hahahah! There are some photographers who won’t go here alone. I never get the creepy vibe from any of these places. I think my haunted button is broken. Chris will be VERY happy you liked his droney bits. ;)
Ahhh thank you!! Learning learning ever learning. I’ll get good enough one of these days to let someone else do it!!! ;) I’m an with you ! Ruins and castles all the way!!
Thank you friend!!! Right?! To be honest you wouldn’t know it was there from the road even! I had to have someone take me there. I would have totally missed it!
THANK you Stefan! It is such a cool spot. People who have gone at night have lots of crazy stories. I’ve always gone during daylight. No 👻 for me thanks!
What a great Christmas present to watch. Bama love love loves to watch these. A bit better than exceptional I must say. Can't wait to see more! Merry Christmas to you and Chris. We love the Queen of the Castles Calendar. A perfect gift.
Well done. My favorite episode so far. Great history, background music and video. Glad you didn't walk around the witch's finger three times!! Thank you Evelyn.
It is an amazing place, i lived in west Somerton just around the corner from the ruin. I used to visit on a regular basis and my imagination used to run riot 🙂
Looks like a really interesting church. Theirs a kirk (Church of Scotland) in the village that I grew up in, which is built on the site of the chapel that served the village, before the Reformation. It is claimed, that the Gothic styled window at the back of the kirk, is the only surviving part of the original chapel.
@@EvelynEdwards I'm in Renfrewshire. I love exploring Scotland as well. There's few things in Paisley that are worth seeing. There's also a mural trail through the town, and an observatory.
Couldn't see your breath...but that's OK. We're here for the awesome ridiculousness of this storytelling. The only thing we can compare to it that we've seen is Mission San Juan Capistrano. Now, stick that place in a fairy tale in a hidden area 500 years beforehand, and you get these ruins. Wow. That photo with the person inside shows how MASSIVE it was.
Another GREAT! Spectacular footage, slow enough to really take in the Beauty of it all! Made me feel like I was there with you😁 And Always the right amount of interesting information, Love this Very much!!
Outstanding! Sentimental, educational and humbling, this well spoken film brought my mind into a different century from my cozy Christmas home! I was so enthralled I almost burned the onions I had set to sweat!! I’ll be dancing three turns around the Christmas tree in hopes of raising the spirit of St. Nichols... God Bless is... Everyone 😇🙏🏻
Thank you so much for allowing us to go on these journeys with you. LOVED IT!!!! And I was thrilled that it came in on an email and I didn't have to check in with RUclips to see if you had added another adventure. Appreciate these so much!!!
Thaaaaaank you Sheila!! I’m so tickled you liked it!! It just stopped me in my tracks completely the first time I saw it. So glad I could take you along by proxy! ;)
Absolutely breathtaking. Ruins to me just have some extra magic about them. Thank You so much for your amazing videos. They take me to my happy place. ❤
Myths and legends, the world would be a dull place without them And the English excel on that score. The presence of so many ruins is a goldmine for stories of old. Just love them. Love castles, mansions, estates all dating back so far one can't count the years. Some of the frames if frozen make ideal painting subjects to adorn walls in galeries and homes. Lovely video. Thanks for the privilege of having this peek into another classic time. 🌷 🙏 🙋♀️
