As USA buys less from China, China is encouraged to sell more to other countries like Russia.
Their economy depends on exporting manufactured goods.
Trump placed huge sanctions on made in China, and Biden continued them: the US exonomy is 25% of the world's economy. China is forced to sell elsewhere or see its own economy collapse.

The reason why China is trading with Russia in a frenzy way since the Ukraine War is NOT because China needs to sell its goods to Russia to get Russian Rubles to fight China's deflation, but actually support Russia sustaining this War as much as possible. Here is the simple logic: Rubles are no longer exchangeable in the major world markets which are dominated by the West, and China needs USD or other Western currencies to import some very important items like soybeans from US and Brazil, iron cores from Australia and India, high-grade industrial coals from Australia and Canada, just name a few. And as you can see, all these international trades require the Western currencies, mainly USD, not Russian Rubles. As what I know, China's companies that are doing business with Russia are instructed by the Chinese governments and most of them are also state-owned large companies that have a major purpose of running international businesses to serve China's strategic goals rather than making profits. And you can see this very often in China's Belt-and-Silk Road Initiative projects where the majority of relevant Chinese companies lost money, or are losing money every day. As a native American, you don't really understand how Chinese Communist Party runs that country because in the West world, everything is focused on benefiting the tax payers, but in China, everything will be done to favor a few top power elites even if the major of people suffer and the country is also decaying. Hope you will do a better job when deal with any China issues. Thx and bye!

    The Chinese problem is bigger:
    1. Yes, if you think prices are going to go down, you don't buy. Then people who make the goods, having the same perspective, don't produce and workers get fired, factories stop working.
    2. In China, when you buy a condo, most have purchased a unit either before construction starts or orders a unit without cabinets/finished bathrooms. If things tank, like losing your job, you cannot walk away from your monthly payments and debt to the bank - that is the law!
    3. If you have actually received your finished unit, your local city does not impose a sales tax/income tax/property tax start to come to an end. Cities had some cash by setting up shadow banks and selling the use of land to developers on a one payment basis.
    4. I could go on . . . but the problem would not be solved by allowing China to sell missiles/tanks/airplanes.
    5. China banks are state owned. China real estate is state owned. The minimal retirement benefit is based upon current contributions and is not set up on an actuarial basis. Communist, Democrats, and Republicans kick the can down the road. Communism is more efficient in collapsing as it will with starvation starting this winter.

Deflation also means for China, the value of properties goes down. China did build a lot of houses they didn't need, so their economy grows.
This created a bubble, and if it bursts, it can destroy their economy. If people see, prices for property go down, they will try to sell, so they get, at least, some money back.
A lot of chinese people invested in houses. Over 100 million houses and flats in China are empty. It was financed by credits, and if the prices drop, the chinese people can't pay that back.

It's obvious that their are partners and has no boundaries. For example, they engage in activities like selling dual electronic parts and oil. This behaviour will never stop unless you put your foot down and good for America. All of this is happening because the world has been focus on profit and wages, forgetting about the well-being of their people.

    Another mysterious death in Russia.
Well-known Russian economist and researcher of Socio-Economic Development Institutions Valentina Bondarenko “falls from window and dies”. Bondarenko was 82-years old but continued forcasting and modeling socio-economic trends in Russia.
As always, Russia is “investigating and establishing the reason”.

Or better yet, similar to when you buy a external harddrive and you find it's just a 1MB sd card and a bunch of washers inside for the weight - make the barrels out of flat washers pressed into a tube and charge $1000 for it.

The reason is that the points mentioned here in the video are only a part of the whole picture. Another very important reason why China supports Russia are strategic considerations. The US got more and more hostile towards China over the last years, as China's economy grew closer and closer in size to the US one. There are a lot of different conflicts where Chinese and US interests are colliding. While the US is engaged in Ukraine it can not concentrate on China. For China it is a win-win situation. It gets money and cheap resources from Russia which helps the Chinese economy while on the same time these goods help Russia to weaken and undermine the position of the USA. After all the US can not afford to finance this war forever. The US budget deficit is high and the debts are growing at an alarming rate while at the same time a process of dedollarisation has picked up speed. The longer these processes are in place the more the US will be weakened and if it lasts too long it might end up like the British Empire. That also collapsed due to financial problems caused by overreach and high military costs due to wars. China plays the long game, because the leadership and therefore the political course hardly change over the years. It has just to wait for the demise of the US because at some time the ever growing debt and the interest payments will strangle the US to death.
From the strategic Chinese perspective it would probably be worth it to give the material to Russia for free to keep the US occupied as long as possible. The fact that Russia pays for it makes it even better.

Russia recently started to sell oil to India in exchange for Chinese yuan, because Indian rupee is not widely accepted, and Russia doesn't import enough from India. There's talk of India licensing Russian advanced weapons for manufacturing and Russia importing Indian made arms. US will face a dilemma whether to sanction India, which would undermine efforts to decouple from China.
