I’m new to this channel and I love your delivery, knowledge, thoughtful breakdowns, and conversational style. Watching your channel has persuaded me to purchase the BOOX Palma! I appreciate the picture-in-picture touch you’ve added to the video edits. I only wish that you would move your camera to face you, as it is weird watching you having a conversation with your screen and hands 90% of the video. It’s like looking directly at the camera is an afterthought.

I'm pretty convinced in getting the Bigme Hibreak (B/W Non-Colour). being a dumbphone user (good ol' nokia 105) for the last year and a half and a fan of my trusty kindle, most thing's you have reviewed convince me to get the Hibreak. although i do have some questions: 1. I'm also based in the UK and wonder how your experience has been as an actual phone. call clarity alright? 2. I'm assuming the Hibreak has full Play Store support so do you know if mobile banking apps work fine on it? I know my mobile banking app on my home smart device doesnt require biometrics so I'm just curious 3. How do you rate the reading experience? I do wish to replace my kindle with this device. @@DavisGB84 you can, but I found it to be a less than perfect experience! Only really because the screen kept timing out and I couldn't find a way to stop it. It'd be ok for checking while walking but not really in the car for example.

If these have the google play store, could install google voice on them. At least that allows some form of phone capability when needed. I have it on a small android tablet that we experiment with and very convenient.
Great comparison Kit, thank you! I'm thinking that Palma 2 could replace 80% of my phone despite the fact that it is not a phone. Nowadays when I make "phone calls" it would be through Whatsapp or some video conference app, I haven't used the "real phone app" for years. So I can just have a 3G modem and connect Palma to its wifi. I do use my phone to chat online (whatsapp) and do email. I wonder how good is the Palma 2 for those purposes and whether I can get a significantly better battery life if I use it that way, plus the e-reader functionality of course. Thanks!

Can you use gps on the highbreak?

I use Syncthing to see my boox notes on my zflip!
