The SEC announced that the play was reviewed. The replay officials review more plays, then people know, and are in headphone communication with the referees on the field. Not every play that is reviewed in the booth leads to stoppage of play on the field. Nor should we want it to because the games would be ridiculously long. It became a big deal when the game announcers made a big deal out of it without knowing that the replay officials in the booth had reviewed the play. But, like you said, that is not why Georgia lost. Georgia mainly lost because Alabama beat them at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball for the big majority of the game.

Team full of 4 & 5 stars just like Georgia. And they have the best football coach period. And they usually win a natty every 2-3 years since 2009. Only lost 2 games last year on the last play for a total of 5 points. Most people outside of Bama wants it to be over so they come up with all these ways every few years to make the claim. All mighty Georgia has only beaten Bama once since Kirby got to Athens and that was after Bama lost it's last elite WR went down during the Natty. But because of hard work and the Saban process it is 12-1 and bordering on being the greatest in college football this year. We will know in a month and a half, but the real national title games may have already been played in Atlanta by the two best teams. Alabama fans have great respect for the Dawgs. The game was a true battle between two heavyweights. At age 71, there are a few more great years ahead for Saban, but the good news for UGA? Smart is younger, and there are not a few, but instead there are many great years ahead for Smart. The Dawgs will hunker down for another crown soon enough, just not this year. We ain't the same team and this will be our first time playing outside of Texas or Florida. Wer more then excited and ready for this instant rose bowl classic. #1 and #2 most wins and national championships in the country let's goo!!!!

I hear yu baby 👍 Michigan is #1 and undefeated. To be the best you have to beat the best. Trust me, some fans got the big head after beating UGA but the program isn't overlooking Michigan one bit or expecting an easy win. Win or lose, yall have had a great season and continue to win the 10. Michigan has been on a come up. Bama is letting everybody know they're still Alabama. Looking forward to a good game. 🐘🔨💥

The issue with Georgia is Kirby tries to beat Alabama playing the way Bama wants to play which spells trouble every time.
Playing smash mouth football is what Alabama is great at. Let’s be clear, a play in the second quarter has no bearing on the final outcome.

they quite literally flinched on that field goal they missed 😆 would've been good had that false start not moved them back to make it a 50 yard kick. then they lose by 3 🤭

I love how no on in here is even mentioning the 4th and 4 ball that hit the ground that led to a bama TD instead of UGA getting the ball on the 45 yard line with 1:40 left in the half, or the "false start" that back us up on the fg, or the missed facemask call.. how can anyone doubt nick saban.. he has the refs in his pockets.

UGA don’t have the talent this yr plain and simple. The yr Fromm was qb man they had studs everywhere. No real playmakers this yr. Besides bowers and Ladd I can’t name an offensive player. Skill player. Before they had tons I could name.
