Seeing that the concrete with carbon is only 2cm thick can it be used for polished concrete flooring on top of a concrete slab so that it does not have to be load bearing?
Firstly, congratulations to these guys and good luck with their company. Also, the University that developed the carbon material, good job. Having said that, there is nothing special about this furniture to warrant the price and all of this furniture can be reproduced with many other materials from wood to plastics that would just as good if not better and would cost much less to produce.
+Steve Hoge Because they have an exclusive license in the furniture market at the moment, lol. Eventually knockoffs will hit the market - but hopefully not before they are recognized as Paulsberg knockoffs, :D

I am thinking about building a table framed out of thin metal rods and chicken wire. I am hoping top get the strength I need from the concrete itself.
so pretty
More carbon than concrete why not make it from steel if you are looking for strength +Its out.More stronger and thinner materials are available ...
Love it
"Price is immaterial"? Why is reproducing these not possible with industrial production?
