Not bad at all for a 300cc bike. Against the 600cc middle weights you'd still be right on their ass. In the twisties you'll carve no problem being so much lighter.
I can so relate with the gearshifts lightening quick, aggressive and precise. The front end lifting with every gear shift confirms that. I feel the front popping everytime the next cog slots into gear and it's very apparent in this video as well. Preloading the shifter just before rolling off the throttle is the quickest way to shift. Cheers.
That's not bad at all. My 650 will do close to 140kph but realistically how often are we sat at the very top of the rev range like that? That would cruise perfectly at highway speeds, the only hiccup would be needing to overtake quickly, especially uphill. In busy traffic you could easily find yourself stuck behind a truck uphill without the power to pull out and overtake quickly. Whereas a middleweight bike can instantly find the power to overtake.

I mean once you ride fast bikes these things are like scooters And going that fast puts more strain on that smaller engine killing the life of the bike
@@Jb-qx7mj Bro its a Yamaha, there is no such thing as strain on the engine. They run forever 😆. Plus they have detuned the engine of an R3. So the engine is not even running at its peak performance. It has plenty of more in it.

You won’t have engine damage because of not having an ECU flash. I road my bike for 1 year with full exhaust without the ECU flash. If you want to get the full potential of your bike you need to do an ECU Flash. Because with the new air filter, more air will come in the bike and with the full system even more air. The stock ECU has different values of air to suppose to go in the bike so it might run slower.

CFMoto has come a long way. They are starting to make good bikes. But I don’t think the quality is yet the same as Yamaha. These bikes aren’t made to go full speed, to reach 200, both take time. What they are good at when modded is acceleration. The MT-03 has a crazy acceleration compared to stock!

Do you have the R6 throttle tube upgrade? If not do you feel that would improve your 0-100? I have upgraded mine and I feel that it is a big difference in take off speed and acceleration. Just not sure how much of a time difference 🤔
Yes I have the R6 throttle tube. It helps a bit in the acceleration since you don’t need to reposition your hand to get the full throttle. And I believe it’s better and more comfortable for racing

It’s not mandatory, it’s just advised. When putting a full exhaust with no ecu flash you will gain acceleration but will lose top speed. If you want to take advantage of the full system, an ecu flash is advised

Performance mods that was it. No ECU Flash. Just filter and exhaust. Had a bunch of other cosmetic mods.

It’s the rev limiter. The bike cannot go any faster, it’s in 6gear at 12 thousand RPM. It’s the maximum the engine can reach

The new MT 03 is much wider and overall bigger than the older model.
