    Cool collection update Keith! Nice to see Sebastian Bach, Warrant and Poison.

      A mixed bunch there Tony. Very much 1980's inspired, I am fixated by the music of that era.

    I picked up a stack of cheap glam a few months ago, planned to do a video and then...didn't, haha. Dog Eat Dog was in that stack and I really enjoy it. I also watched the Bon Jovi doc and I started listening to the albums I hadn't heard (which was most of them). Great haul, cheers Keith!

      Yeah I wouldn't have watched that 😂

      I was interested in the Docu to hear Richie Samboras take on things. He just decided one day to
      just bail and not get on the plane to a show.
      Also I think a lot of the albums they talked about as being successful, really were not.
      You would have given Simon so much fuel to taunt you with, if you had gone ahead with your
      No Solution- " Glam " episode.
      Its would almost be worth it, to read Simons comments😄

      @@AttackFromDownunda It might be worth it if it makes Simon upset. 😂

    Nice interesting presentation today as usual Keith .... by the way, the presentation you did on the Kiwi Steve McDonald was awesome!!

    • @AttackFromDownunda
      @AttackFromDownunda  5 месяцев назад

      Really pleased you liked that Steve McDonald video. I do like to show underappreciated music in
      the hope someone will give them a shot. And I did get a comment from an Irish viewer who
      did just that.
      Makes it worth posting videos. And I did get some help with information for that video! As you know!😁

    That's how it all started for me too in the 80s. I was all about the glam metal but back then it was just heavy metal to me. Luckily I have escaped the cold weather in NZ for a couple of weeks which is great. I will be seeing Sebastian Bach live on Saturday and am looking forward to that
    Enjoy spinning the tunes mate😃🤘

    • @AttackFromDownunda
      @AttackFromDownunda  5 месяцев назад

      Yes all Metal was lumped together with no labels in the 80's , kind of refreshing really.
      I'm jealous you are avoiding our heinous weather here for a warmer break.
      I hope Sebastian puts on a decent show. I did catch Devilskin and looking forward to Maiden
      and taking my son to see Greta Van Fleet over the next few months. He loves the band.
      Have a top time at the show mate🤘

      Messing about in cars and having a good time.🤘

    Excellent update Keith. Both Dog Eat Dog and Native Tongue are massively underrated albums. I actually didn't know that Native Tongue had been reissued so I've just picked it up. Cheers mate

      Thanks James. There is some gold amongst the dross of all these bands later albums. They did get better as musicians and composers.
      I'm gonna check out the re-issue of Cinderella- Still Climbing, then I will be done with Glam Metal
      I think for a while. Cheers Mate.

      Orianthi is an Australian guitarist. And I thought she played with Alice Cooper but did'nt like to
      say in case I was wrong.
      She looks stunning on the cover of her album " Rock Candy '.Some terrific guitar on this Bach
      album, not sure who played what on each song.

    I saw Bon Jovi live in 1990 while promoting the New Jersey album here in Brazil and he was already struggling with his voice lol Nice hard rock selection!

    • @AttackFromDownunda
      @AttackFromDownunda  5 месяцев назад +1

      I don't know how many members were in the band in 1990. But now there is 7 guys, so he probably
      has more vocal backing than before. He is very insecure in the Docu. about his voice.
      I like how he sounds on his latest album, but who knows what they do in the studio. We all get older, and I like his more whisky soaked voice.
      Cheers Guz🤘

    • @GustavoScafuro
      @GustavoScafuro 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@AttackFromDownunda what I noticed 30+ years ago is that he was already trying to preserve his voice, not doing exactly the same notes he did in studio. They were a 5 piece band back then and everyone else in the band were helping with backing vocals. I need to check that doc. Cheers!

    Hi Keith! Very cool artwork on that Sebastian Bach album. That is totally a new one to me. "He's a massive egomaniac" 😂I only have Warrant "Cherry Pie" on compact disc. Beautiful Japanese pressing of that Van Halen album!

    • @AttackFromDownunda
      @AttackFromDownunda  5 месяцев назад +1

      A big chunk of artists are ego-maniacs, it goes with the job description😂
      " Dog Eat Dog " is a much more mature release than previous, but its always fun to blast " Cherry Pie "- I think the band grew to hate the song!.
      And yes my Japanese Vinyl guy usually has records in tip-top condition. Those Obi's are pretty fragile.
      Its been fun watching your and others July V.C bash videos. Cool stuff,Cheers for watching Mike✌

    I do have that Poison album somewhere but I'm in no hurry to find it 😂. I don't mind some glam metal but I'm not looking to purposely get any more. Early Bon Jovi is alright but again it will be some time before any of those get played again.
    Although not really my bag nice update all the same mate 🤘🏻🤘🏻

      If you had been overwhelmingly positive I would have been tempted to send you a Glam Metal
      package. So you dodged that bullet mate.😂
      My Bon Jovi collection is basically what I showed in the video plus two copies of " Slippery When
      Wet " which is a great album. Been wanting to show these for a while and I think I might have
      inspired Scott to go all Glam Metal for one episode.😁🤘🤘

    That Warrant album keeps popping up on my Amazon list because the price has been fluctuating and going down some, but I have yet to grab it. Great stuff all around, but I am a big hair fan.

    • @AttackFromDownunda
      @AttackFromDownunda  5 месяцев назад

      That Warrant is worth getting for a reasonable price. I'm interested in hearing the later albums
      from these bands after they have been passed over.
      I got that Warrant, really cheap and with free postage, so was happy. I don't use Amazon myself
      but have heard people talk about some jaw-dropping reductions. Cheers Jeff🤘

      I'm not a completist. But I like to have 3 albums from artists.
      " Native Tongue " completes the trilogy. Together with " Flesh And Blood " and " Look What The Cat". Fun music.
      Thanks for checking out my vid. Nathan.

    Surprisingly, I do not own the Sebastian Bach album... that Warrant album is my fave of theirs! Bahahaha... Thanks for ruining "Hole in my Wall" Keith! Hahahahaha :) I cant believe NZ already has that Poison vinyl, and my order is on Back Order (actually emailed them yesterday and they said now 1-3 weeks..) ugh! The only VH album you're missing is Fair Warning?? That should have been the FIRST you got! :) Never thought about the WASP album being on a Steel Panther album... and you're correct! To me, this is my least favorite album... Damnation Angels is the best, the rest is just a different version of "Blind in Texas"...

    • @AttackFromDownunda
      @AttackFromDownunda  5 месяцев назад +1

      I've actually had that Poison album for close to a month!, just hav'nt shown it before.
      I also heard that Cinderella - Still Climbing is being re-issued. First time on vinyl?.
      So many ways to spend money.
      " Hole in my Wall " is completely ruined for me, but Steel Panther do make me laugh." Dog Eat Dog "
      is a much better Warrant album than previous in my opinion. " Fair Warning " has not come up
      yet for a good price from my Japanese vinyl guy.
      But my credit card is ready! to go..Thanks for watching Dan, Happy Golfing

      @@AttackFromDownunda Wow... a whole month... I preordered mine back in April (just to give you an idea)... Cinderella Still Climbing i have on vinyl already... glad they are reissuing it though because my copy is a tad expensive (and my favorite Cinderella album too)... Fair Warning for me is my favorite Roth-era VH... so heavy and dark (and catchy too) :) I am actually golfing friday morning! How did you know? LOL
