AppImages require FUSE version 2 to run. Filesystem in Userspace (FUSE) is a system that lets non-root users mount filesystems.
Install FUSE

sudo add-apt-repository universe
sudo apt install libfuse2
download balena etcher

guys dont deal with that process just right click the appimage format application and click properties and give come permissions then mark the ''allow executing files as program'' so you can open it

I was having an issue installing BalenaEtcher and checked to make the file executable in the properties tab and it was NOT checked , so I checked the box and it installed ! Thanks
