multiplicative battlecries/deathrattles did fundamentally reshape the game. I struggle to call it "auto-chess" anymore with how much active gameplay those builds have.
Btw crater miner is 1 COST spell, not tier 1. So could be stronger with investment and the gem bhffer in the next tier, instead of coin. Maybe weaker early but stronger on tier 3 or higher
I'm getting felemental/rylak vibes level of broken in this combo. If you manage to get a rylak, rover, bran/titus early it is a comp that plays itself.
I definitely feel like Niuzao was added as less of a "Beast comp" beast, and more a "menagerie beast". I like that blizz is supporting menagerie builds.
Same with that new mech that adds tavern spells to your hand! The huge issue with current menagerie builds; there’s not very many good solo minions for most of the tribes.
@@ashishkhatri2771 With no more Aggem or Hot-Air Surveyor in the game, I don't think it would end up being THAT broken, to be honest. Plus, you don't have any more combos to buff up gem health multiple times per turn anymore, like you could with Jazzer + Rylak or Young Murk-eye. We will see how it turns out, though.
@@nogai2296 You play one, choose the 2-gem deathrattle. Play another one, choose the 2-gem deathrattle. When you triple it, it combines those two deathrattles and has a 4-gem deathrattle on it. Then you play it, and select the 4-gem deathrattle to add to it, giving 8 total bloodgems.

With the Quillboars, you forgot to think about they didn't remove the current 4 cost? Choose one blood gems gain 1/1 or gain 4 gems. That's going to be a power pick in some of the choices if you double up on the effects.

I think this is more broken than most realize. One of the biggest downsides of playing rylak has always been it effectively uses 3 of your 7 minion slots to get value. This was extremely difficult to perform due to the fact that by the time you are getting value you are dead. With rover's ability to buff and summon (that is affected by that buff) you don't get punished as hard to get full value. This is even more compounded by the ability to drop this combo late game and still be able to buff with the new avenge four T5 beast. I really do see the new beetle mechanic being a major issue
@@beachfl6305Yup, I think Beetle beasts are going to be high tempo but hard cap endgame, kinda like Sky Pirates or Attack Aura Undead, that you will dominate the mid game and kill everyone before they get really strong.

Beetles seems fine, but I kinda expected them to buff Goldrinn comp a little bit, because without Banana it’s not very good without some crazy setup, I don’t know.
I wonder if thorned trailblaser works with cariels hero power, the wording of it makes me a bit doubtful since it says card and says get both options but i think she has 3 after upgrading the tavern(havent played her in a long time so i cant remember well tbh). its not really much of a power boost since its a tier 4 so you would only really get all the upgrades 3 times at most if you triple into it at tier 3 but it would make her slightly less awful of a hero.
Salty Hog is going to get nerfed into the abyss. Adding cards into your hand is going to be so easy with how many cards these cards seem to be generating, especially with a Brann.

Hey Shady I don't know if you read these but I came across an accidental build with pirates (flagbearers) and Octosari. They just kept buffing it andit became insane. Maybe fun for a vid, great content as always cya.

Salty Hog would be far more exciting if it didn't have the stipulation of 3 per turn. A 6 drop that gives, if you can add 9 cards to your hand, +18/+18 to your board feels very weak. Guess we'll see though.
I don't think it has a limit of how many times it can proc each turn. It has the same tect as "Fleet Admiral Tethys", which says "9 left" on the card, but as we all know tethys can proc as many times as you can trigger it in a turn.
The big increase in "choose one" cards makes it seem like Blizzard wants to tamp down on Brann-powered APM builds.

Actually, Forest Rover (the Battlecry Beetle) works with Rylak. Finally a reason to play Rylak in Beasts!

I feel like a divine shield breaker in the Beetle spell is needed as they are added selfless back into the pool . Something needs to soft counter that

Crystal infuser seems interesting with triples, if the effect gives it an enchantment, a triple could potentially have deathrattle give 2+2+4 gems

Feels like menagerie got soft removed in exchange for all the updated tribes to be a lot more splashable/not unique to buffing their own tribe.
