My adult daughter has torn me apart. Wouldn't let me be any part of her wedding. Then told horrible lies about me. During the engagement his mom attacked me verbally its been a nightmare.

Your child can’t “break Gods heart.” It’s absurd! God doesn’t get sad. God has no expectations on us! He has a pure unconditional love that seems to be beyond your understanding, It brings Him joy when we follow Him and it brings him joy to see us following our will even if it takes us away from Him. This expectation and demand as a parent that your child act a certain way is the root of your disappointment and is unloving. The root of ALL “disappointment” in others is pure selfishness.
God is pure love but if you read the Bible and the ten commandmentsyou will find that children need to honor their mother and father in this is one of the many many things that God is quite angry about. Think about when he went in to his father's house the moneyand how angry he got he is not happy with any of us in children especially if they don't honor your mother and father God's not happy with them and we will suffer consequences God will make sure that
You got to let go with the children walk away put boundariesand when a parent dies remember don't go to the funeral crying when you caused breaking your parents heart

I too was dismissed as the MOB. It has now ripped my family apart. I blame Parental Alienation from their Narc father.
