If we had adequate border policies we wouldn’t be dealing with this massive migration. The only focus point of Gov. Abbot being the villain however no one wants to see the stress and costs of hosting the multitude of migrants onto Texas. Democrats want the border open, then be kind enough to provide shelter for the migrants. I’ve traveled to central and South America and seen the level of poverty and disparity and anything in the USA is better then Remaining in certain places. I hope one day we can provide this kind of aid and assistance to homelessness,poverty, crime ridden areas in the US instead of investing billions on migrants.

I used to live in new mexico and I saw these people struggling to learn english while also living on the streets, and bc of crime it was dangerous to be homeless there (hence why I had to leave). And the people who the government are scared of are now putting meth onto MY streets, making MY neighbors depraved and poor. There's a lot of cause and effect that came from our government's poor choices and I'm personally afraid of the conflict that our government has created.

I live in San Antonio and just got back from Wal-Mart. The place was infested with migrants all speaking Spanish. The store was a wreck because of them, most seem to not have any sense of order or care about the condition of the store. Many of them were trying to communicate in Spanish, to English speaking employee's (who although were Hispanic themselves, were extremely frustrated). Texas is becoming a third-world slum. So sad.

There's a severe labor shortage in the service industries for restaurants, hotels, construction, agriculture, food processing and fast food services. Jobs Americans don't want to do. And NC has 10M people, while CA has 40M, we eat more, grow more, and export more. We also have the 5th largest economy in the world, everyone is provided with healthcare by the state, we produce our own insulin in the state at cost, college is free for any family making less than $100k a year, all school children K to 12 get free lunches, we have a fraction of the per capita gun crime compared to ‘red’ states, marijuana is legal, etc. Just a few of the many reasons why I left my home state of NC at 17 and never looked back.

Abbot being the villain however no one wants to see the stress and costs of hosting the multitude of migrants onto Texas. I’ve traveled to central and South America and seen the level of poverty and disparity and anything in the USA is better then Remaining in certain places. I used to live in new mexico and I saw these people struggling to learn english while also living on the streets, and bc of crime it was dangerous to be homeless there (hence why I had to leave). I live in San Antonio and just got back from Wal-Mart. The place was infested with migrants all speaking Spanish. The store was a wreck because of them, most seem to not have any sense of order or care about the condition of the store. Many of them were trying to communicate in Spanish, to English speaking employee's (who although were Hispanic themselves, were extremely frustrated). Texas is becoming a third-world slum. So sad.

Thanks Gov. Abbott, LOL, for providing this much needed service to these immigrants to get where they want to go in America so they can start their lives, find work, and support their families. There's a severe labor shortage in the service industries for restaurants, hotels, construction, agriculture, food processing and fast food services. Jobs Americans don't want to do. Immigrants will fill those positions and keep the economy going and hopefully will create a better future for themselves and their families.
The reason no one wants to work is they get a free ride and are happy doing it. Mexican workers work harder than ANY low income Americans. We have the workers, just don't have the the work ethics anymore.

I live in North Carolina, and I can't remember the last time I bought or saw any Produce from Comiefornia.
@@hime273 depending on the crop, yeah we grow anywhere from 60% to 90% of the commodity. We grow 99% of the artichokes and purple asparagus for example. And NC has 10M people, while CA has 40M, we eat more, grow more, and export more. We also have the 5th largest economy in the world, everyone is provided with healthcare by the state, we produce our own insulin in the state at cost, college is free for any family making less than $100k a year, all school children K to 12 get free lunches, we have a fraction of the per capita gun crime compared to ‘red’ states, marijuana is legal, etc. Just a few of the many reasons why I left my home state of NC at 17 and never looked back.
They have no clue that the majority of people are classified as "illegal immigrants" when they first move here. They somehow think that you can gain citizenship without ever stepping foot in this country. It's quite fascinating to see them talk about it when they have no clue about it. Lol

Now the sanctuary cities are getting a very small taste of what border communities must deal with.
