The one thing that kills the update for me is the photos app redesign I just simply can’t see myself using it and knowing where everything is like how do you get to your deleted photos or your albums page or anywhere do you have to keep swiping right like that’s gonna be really frustrating for me. I could live without the other changes as much as I want them but I just can’t do a way with the new photos app I’ve learned the whole photos app finally and I don’t think this one is gonna make anything better just more annoying and more swipes and taps.

Note for everyone: Apple Intelligence is currently only for the 15 pro (max) and M series iPads.

I think all this effectively means that, aside from a few silly gimmicks, we now essentially have full feature parity between both major mobile and both major desktop platforms - like, I can't really think now of anything important one has that another doesn't at this point

iOS 18 is amazing so much better than iOS 16 or 17. It’s very reliable. I’m enjoying it. I’ve downloaded the developer beta yesterday and it’s been great. The only one little issue is a bit of lag and battery life but besides that it’s been great.

Im surprised iPhone xr is getting ios 18. iPhone 8 and X got unsupported on ios 16. iPhone xr lagged so much on ios 16 and 17 so I wonder how ios 18 will run on it.
