    This video is a wow moment for me. I recently became aware of my controlling spirit and how it’s a result of my childhood trauma growing up . My opinion, words and thoughts were always shut down by my father. God is working on me being a controlling wife and mom and I’m listening 🙏🏾 Thank you for this video and your tips.

    I'm learning that, especially a married woman, if a woman that is controlling in any relationship is because she does not feel safe.
    I'm learning that my safety does not come from the outside but from the inside by having a personal relationship with God.
    Ponder prayerfully.

      If a man is controlling in a relationship what does it mean ...he doesn’t feel safe ???

    • @daion1247
      @daion1247 5 месяцев назад +2

      @lacy4035 I would say yes.
      There are a lot of marriages like this. It goes both ways, but we are not taught this in the home or, sadly, the church that glorifies marriage. Marriage is a prop by the church to make two unsaved people (those who don't have their own security, validation self-worth in themselves through God), so they are "schemed" into a marriage that is not as holy as we think because two insecure people idolize the image of marriage to make themselves "feel" like they are worth something. "Iz married now!"
      This type of marriage is not holy. It's a co- dependency of two broken, unhealed people trying to make a whole.
      We like the idea of marriage but don't really understand what the Creator of marriage intentions truly because we never ask Him, we just go along with what "society and church" says this is what marriage is.
      I could go on. However, I hope this helps.
      Ponder prayerfully.

    Oooooof.
    I saw this title and was like oh girl. I need to watch this one. I love all of your videos but ooof ! This one.
    I would definitely put myself in the controlling category. I have seen people make terrible decisions in their life and I don’t want to be a casualty of someone’s poor decisions. I trust my mind, my judgement .. and I trust myself more than anyone else. I feel like I need to be in control of every situation or there is potential for things to go majorly wrong and I might end up somewhere bad, hating my life. I want to control the direction on my life. I feel so deeply about this.
    I know I have work to do … but also feel like there must be a balance ? Maintain boundaries and control over my life but also be soft, feminine and gentle … so hard.

    I really do believe that controlling women (me) DEFINITELY are tired of being in the drivers seat all the time! I understand the older you get, the harder it can become. one of the factors (for me) of needing control is at work. They have purposely reduced staff/ongoing recruitment freeze - keeping up to keep my well being but I know control is overrated sometimes, nowadays I always think 'get somebody else to do it!'

    I found your channel tonight as I listened to what you shared about being a controlling wife, I recognized my life very clearly in your descriptions. Thank you for spelling it out as it truly is- a type of witchcraft. I think that recognizing that really helps with the understanding of the gravity of such behaviors and that it is not according to God's will.

    Dr. Michelle Daf . I do really enjoy listening to your RUclips videos and I love how spiritual ( Godly) these advices are … one thing I’m struggling with is they say never become too available for your husbands . So if your husband calls or text you not to answer right away wait 30 to an hour even longer . Not to answer right away .
    How do you feel about it ? Would that be controlling in your eyes ?

    My ex husband’s wife used to do all these things you listed… she lost him at the end because he got tired and left her. When he met me he said so many controlling behaviors about his ex wife. I learned from sheraseven and other RUclipss, so after he got married to me, I allow him to take control in our marriage. I’m getting a lot of gifts and love from my husband because I’m so feminine and don’t disrespect my husband by manipulating him. 90% of wives subconsciously control their husbands and got dumped and letter blame their ex husbands. Please if you’re a wife lean to allow your husbands breath. Don’t suffocate them.

    What if he hasn’t contributed to bills or only like one week of food and doesn’t work and doesn’t help, and makes mess is that acceptable. And does this make us controlling or does it make us need support and help. Even doe you talk all the time nicely and it’s just you paying for everything.

    I hate this trend that is going around now on social media.
    " You gotta be his peace,"😂
    I'm learning if they ain't got their own peace, how you expect me to be that for you.
    Being in a relationship with you thinking you gotta be his peace instead of adding to his peace ( and vice versa ladies), then YOU ARE UNEQUALLY YOKED!!!!!!
    But they ain't gonna say this cause they don't know this.
    Ponder prayerfully.
