Hey guys, please let's give Rojae some encouragement on his work. Please feel free to share other tips here on the areas you think he can improve at. Let us keep learning together on this channel. Cheers.
Hey T, thanks so much for the review… I have learnt a lot from this… I will definitely take the tips you dropped in this video and apply it.. thanks again!!
I like and agree with most of your comments. Especially about attention span. I learn so much from reviewing others work and identifying my style by what I would do different. I have learned to practice your camera technique when not using a tripod, and still a work in progress. I love Rojae thought process but he would gain from filming with either multiple cameras or by having the do the same dance at least twice and he filming from different angles and mixing up the views. If he study the analytics of his film, he will see how long the audience engages for. The hallways scene had a lot going on, so if no curtains to remove distractions - then maybe an angle change. Davinci has a boring indicator and I usually have mine turned on to remind me to keep my clips moving. Another good practice I found is to take a 5 minute clip of anything (movie you like) and do a scene detect in DaVinci. You would be surprise of how often they keep the clips moving. Much Learning to be gained from the review.
@@irvdonaldson4137 that’s an awesome review from you. Yes it’s always important to keep it moving - attention span is really low these days. Filming multiple creative angles is key to get a video dynamic. Thanks for sharing your feedback for Rojae man. And let me know how the camera technique is going
@TheLazyFilmmaker_ it has been going for a while, but i also keep buying tripods to find the right one. Aluminum is the way to go. I use a blackmagic 6k. The weight should be illegal. So my learning curve is a steep one for i mix ground and drone footage, plus pocket 3, action 4, Samsung, and iPhone. Imagine my timeline and mixed rates, while learning the intricate working of DaVinci. I applaud anyone who post their work for review. You do need to trust the reviewers and know the haters. However, the process is so rewarding in the long run.
