I hate the high maintenance trait and now the loyal trait 🤣 because if you so much as talk to another sim when you are in a flirty mood, you feel horrible forever for flirting with another sim and cheating on your spouse or whomever
I noticed that once your game starts lagging, if you pause and unpause the game with Esc or the button on the top right, it stops lagging. At least temporarily.

Something I've found has helped with the lag is just opening the menu and then closing it again, and doing that every time the lag starts again. When this stops working, I restart the game and it usually starts working again. We've had at least one update since the lagging issue started, I wish they'd fix it already!

POKEMON, okay he wasn't perfect, but he put his life on hold so he can raise his younger siblings, after their mom died and father abanded them. He was probably girl crazy due to teh fact that he is a teenager, who had to age prematurely and give up girls for hsi siblings, so when the father came back, so did the girls.

Painting is crazy OP, with the right lot and sim traits, and career easel you can pop out £15-20k paintings at will. I've always toyed with the idea of insisting the sim sells stuff on plopsy rather than drag selling. Writing books, on the other hand, is total pants, at least for me.
Actually my sims started dating each other and had a son named Jay Holiday. They move out of town with their son Jay Holiday into a nice house and then the parents age up
I'm not sure about the sketch pad specifically, but all sims are either right or left handed as a hidden trait. But just like in real life, a good majority are right handed, so most players don't notice it.
My daughter Raelyn gave birth to a boy named Reggie Epps. My granddaughter Raina started primary school. Raina is now a child and Reggie is now a newborn baby

I'm not surprised. EA has a tendency of messing everything up.
Once in The Sims I had a mom with 2 kids and a 2 kids were fighting and the mom had the loyalty trait. And She got upset for way to long.

Tip that helps my game with the build lag. - hit esc to get the menu up and then esc again and it should get rid of the lag. :)
