Keeping his voice alive here at 2020, soo stoked to listen to his raw voice again. The band did a tremendous job with all those vocal materials and bringing up the songs.
Young old Chester legit asking "are you happy?" and relating to everyone's struggle in the chorus. Seriously, he just knew how to make you feel comfortable with your emotions and express them genuinely especially since he gone through real rough moments in his life

An underatted masterpiece by Grey Daze, Chazzy's voice as a fresh young man was really deep in sound and lyrics, it gives you a brief of his hard life childhood he had. RIP legend🕊️❤️

damn it, this music feels like home. And I could swear it felt the same when I first heard it. I have no memories related to it, no associations, so it's not even nostalgia. It just lets me into a whole new dimension every time I hear it, and it's somehow warm and comfortable in there. is there anybody to share my emotions, or is it just me?
Words cannot describe how beautiful this song is, the lyrics asks the listener, the vocals shocks you, the melody warms your heart, the drums draws that negative energy out...Grey Daze is like an emotional roller coaster for me.
“People come around, people let you down”....
I felt those words to the very core of my soul.
P.s. I am sorry for all those people who have ever let you down Chester. May you rise like the phoenix from the ashes into heaven rest in eternal peace~

@@BryonLetterman maybe cause youre used to the old one? I don't know. I'm new to grey daze and have heard both versions at roughly the same time and I think the new one sounds way better. The older one sounds a lot more older and classic style I guess. The new ones really suit I think

Ever time I hear Chester sing lyrics even when I'm down his lyrics an his uplifting personality makes me smile again an smile
Everytime I hear this specific line I feel sooo sad because I remember all the pictures and videos of him smiling and I can't help but wonder how much of them were actually real, and how many times he was actually happy or if he was just faking it the whole time, it really really hurts when you think about it and everything that happened.

This song, and the rest of the songs from Grey Daze's album, "Amends" will always remind me of my ex. I spent the day with my ex, the day after this album came out last year. We cuddled while we listened to this album. This song hits home for me since it really reminds me of my ex. During this pandemic, especially since the Delta Variant virus is here, I miss my ex, even though I'm over her. I miss being held, and feeling safe with her while she use to tell me that I'll be okay. Gonna put this song on repeat. This song does really makes me feel safe in the arms of my ex. Oh well, at least when I fall in love with another girl soon, I'll listen to this album while her and I are together and stop the haunting memories of my ex from making me depressed. This song is going to be put on repeat for quite some time. "Amends" is the album that I'll always come back to, when I feel scared, especially with this new Covid strain that's now out.
