I am sorry for my late response. I didn't received a note about your message. I just love it that your bird is waiting to hear Mingo singing. That is so sweet😊❤
Thanks for sharing such sweetness from your Bourke male. It looks like he got startled when visited from one of the flock at the end. I love the lovely, gentle nature of Bourke's parakeets.
My pleasure! Thank you for your message. Yes, they are such gentle birds and make the most beautiful sounds. Mingo always reactes like that whenever his brother (the more dominant one) comes near him. But he also feeds him so it's a love/hate relationship I guess😉
This guy seems to impress my male bourque the best he has only heard him twice now and he instantly was singing and seemed to even be happier the other male I have is 20 yrs old and not very vocal at all so this really is helping my young guy I wish I would have done this for him a long time ago on the second time hearing your guy he put his foot up and was grinding his beek I think birds do this when there happy so now everyday I play this video in particular and the pink in your guy is really nice
Makes my little yellow still slightly unsure ( not a month yet) pineapple bourke. He has progressed wonderfully, loves a stroke with a millet stem and takes food from my finger. His constant smile is joyful.
My 2 bourkes love this. They wait for the bird in the computer every morning. How cute.

Did you diy that hanging perch?
My little bourke girl is answering these calls, maybe because this is a male calling.
Yes, I am sure she is interacting with my Mingo through singing. Thank you for sharing this with me❤😊
