Opening Song: The Prodigy - Champions Of London
Boom Boom Tap is the trolling on a whole new level!
:D
1:50 20 years later, they finally change his pitch up.
Excellent :)
Don't forget Out of Space (it literally usees the same track)
30 not 80
This whole album is just so damn amazing. The Prodigy never disappoints.
1998-2014 (between The Fat... and The Day ...[which ones are quite OK]) they wandered over the abyss - it's great that they managed to move up.
Honestly I think that the song are great but the album is not well build (sorry for my English I’m from Québec) I would prefer No tourist for the beginning of the album
Yes. Not much followed Prodigy but just listened No Tourists and it is instantly recognised as the classic Prodigy sound
I really don't undestand people that says Prodigy's last albuns is wack or something, Liam still doing beats the same nature as the 90's, dude's a legend
No Tourists is such a love letter to the early 90's style of rave music production it's not even funny, and I love EVERY second of it lmao this is amazing. The Prodigy in rare, proper form.
It's their best album in quite a while yet none of their songs have charted in the UK. Their most recent UK chart hits were "Wild Frontier" which got to no.36, "Warrior's Dance" which got to no.6 and "Omen" which got to no.2, the 2 latter songs way back in 2009.
He is such a genius Liam
Yeah he is a very good copy paste genius :p
No, he's not. When you make music this is not a big deal mate :D
Liam Howlett is a musical genius.
The Prodigy brought me here .
damn liam, thanks for the album
Excellent, informative video. Cleverly used samples which also serves to breathe new life into old and possibly undiscovered tracks.
I'm an Andy Milonakis fan and had no idea the BOOM BOOM TAP was from him! 😂
Thank you for this great job!
Liam sampled Carlton Banks (Fresh Prince of Bel Air) for Timebomb zone - my life is complete now
I thought the exact same thing lol!
They have proof how they are long time a go whit amazing songs!
all ingenious is simple! good job as always , Liam Howlett!!
Who is Lian?
Master Liam Howlett
0:40 I'd know that voice anywhere. It's the Good Vibrations lady!
I extend a challenge, DJ shadow
I love your Prodigy clips.
Keep up the good work. :)
Second this. Will always come here for Prodigy samples.
Respect 8MU for the quality of content!
Just how?... i cannot even... Big like dude!
HEY! how can you forget "Flight of the bumblebee" by Rimsky-Korsakov in BOOM BOOM TAP??? It's coolest sample. Liam promised to use russian classics for new album and he ded it.
THanks for your work, bro !
It's like a reference to other authors in a book.
As always gold one!
Timebomb Zone is actually a remix at this point, lol.
BIG RESPECT FOR YOUR WORK, MAN!!!
Love! Keep it up!
More samples of the chemical brothers, please ✌️
im impressed that you found the prime loops & vengance samples! good spotting sir/s...
ive used this in a track 3 years ago....sounds funny to hear it in a Prodigy track lol
and pretty disappointing at the same time... Liam used to be genius of sampling
I would argue he still is even early prodigy tracks had samples that were from some of the first commercial sample cd's in the 90's even a future music mag cover cd! Just gotta be there first and twist it somewhat...
@@awkwardtom I agree. Skylined and the X-files score samples are a proof of what you are saying
hihtitmamnan The main drum loop from Firestarter was from a sample pack. It’s all about how you use them.
Vocal instrumental ensemble The Prodigy breathed new life into the tracks of little-known artists. These songs were relevant at the time, and Liam showed us the other side. I think the authors are grateful to the Prodigy, and personally Liam!!!
good work. great vid
great work
A ja bil uveren chto eto Keit Flint, toljko zaviwen ton golosa
Some of these sound like they've been recreated - Light Up the Sky in particular, and Kool Keith on We Live Forever. We know Liam got Kool Keith to re record the Rock and Roll vocal for You'll Be Under Wheels - I think he's done the same here. The original tune is rapped over drums, but you can't hear hint of the original drums on WLF.
Or there is an accapella of the track somewhere.
There are thousands of hiphop accapellas online.
the most funny boom boom tap :D
this is sick with devil inside ;d
Saw that booom boom tap's kid years ago. Amazing what Liam did!!! It has a lot of character
Well done!
Perfect!
Holy fuck dude, great video!
boom boom tap was from a video ?
Yes. Yes, it was.
and Milonakis (that "kid" from video) was about 32-33 y.o. then ;)
funny
@@mshkvtz 32! fuck.
@@mshkvtz growth hormone deficiency does that to you.
awesome
omg that was amazing ha
pukka upload...good at keeping it all ticking along The Prod...
It's funny because, they used Ultramagnetic MC's before :D
Yeah he smacked that b*tch up and finally changed his pitch up!
I knew I recon the devil film score in the background 👐
Thankyou for make your channel
Arturo Jara
you’re welcome 😊
1:47 Sweet bassline!
It means that Timebomb is cover
Pretty sure there’s a sample from Radars Antimatter in Fight Fire with Fire
Nice))
браво
Dei cazzo di Geni 🔥🐜
2:25 pensé que era de dragon ball
lol, the kid crack me up
Great video but it's missing Resonate's samples and Light up the Sky's vocal sample which are known :)
I know what resonate samples, but what's the other vocal sample in light up the sky?
Really? can you enlighten me?
@@8mu- Resonate samples and interpolates "Sound Killer" by Brother Culture. The vocals appears at 0:44, 0:52, and 1:26. Not sure about Light up the Sky though
The Samples: David Guetta Edition
Please
great video! the light up the sky sample, (the singed part) where is come from?
That is Brother Culture voice recorded in studio. Same guy gives his voice for song Thunder from IMD album.
@@miloskrunic1306 Thanks!
Whats the classical piece playing in the end credits????
OZ Z
Its Palladio by Karl Jenkins.
@@8mu- thank you :)
Grand Theft Audio
More like #Genius
there is actually a band called like this.
Very good work! But Prodigy is the best group forever ;-) Respect from Bulgaria.
so we know Liam listens to a lot of music, with a good ear. How does Eightminutesupsidedown do it?
Slyboi
Research 😊
@@8mu- kudos..
Please make for FUTURE SOUND OF LONDON
3:46
It's not a secret, the samplers are also on the album.

How they don't have copyright issues?
Probably it hasn’t reached platinum sales, or enough exposure for labels to get noticed.
Daaaamn !!! he take them from these craps
why they don't have a copyright problem ? !
either it's all has been settled or there's no problem with sampling small snippets unless you're not copying the entire songs or parts.
@@Telepuzique
I wish RUclips took that approach.
But Liam has used Critical Beatdown in about 4 or 5 songs now so he probably has a license to use the whole song whenever he wants. I swear he's used about 50% of the vocals from that song.
Eightminutesupsidedown but not in one entire piece. :)
They pay the royalties to the rightful owners, I guess. Prodigy is always known to do samples, so it's nothing new.
Upgrade is not steal ♥
lolandy
Bullseye!
The Prodigy ma Český sample 😂
so basically they do not write they own songs just ripping off the samples and mixing all together :)
There's a difference between "ripping all samples and mixing them together" and cleverly using samples to form something new and original.
