Here’s a bit of information about the album.
Invaders Must Die is the fifth studio album by English electronic dance music group The Prodigy. The album was released on 23 February 2009 on the band's new record label Take Me to the Hospital, and was distributed by Cooking Vinyl. Although Liam Howlett, Maxim and Keith Flint all contributed material for The Fat of the Land, Invaders Must Die is the first Prodigy record where, given the departure of Leeroy Thornhill, all band members took part in the creative process.
The album was a commercial success, faring better than Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned. In contrast to the commercial performance, critical reaction to the album was mixed. It has spawned four singles, including the title track, "Omen", "Warrior's Dance" and "Take Me to the Hospital".
Recording began in February 2006, shortly after the release of Their Law: The Singles 1990-2005, and ended in November 2008. Some of the songs recorded for the album, such as the synthesizer-led "Colours" were written before the release of the group's fourth album, and early versions were showcased in live performances. Liam Howlett conceived the album musical direction as a mashup of their previous albums. The new album was set to be released in summer 2007, but when the album's release date was postponed to the "first quarter of next year [2008]," the band had conceived over 25 ideas while completing production on certain tracks and writing lyrics
Howlett revealed in an April 2008 interview that he had three more months of work left for the new album. He also said that he has a working album title and song titles, but was not ready to publicly announce them until these details were released through The Prodigy's official newsletter on 4 November. This announcement stated that the album would be a return to their "old-school but cutting edge" roots, and would feature collaborations with Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters, Them Crooked Vultures, and Nirvana, and James Rushent of Does It Offend You, Yeah?,[5] but would not feature any guest vocals
Invaders Must Die was released as a CD, CD/DVD set, double-vinyl, digital download and a luxury-like 7-inch vinyl box set that includes five 7-inches, CD/DVD, bonus CD, poster, stickers and stencils To coincide with the release of the album, the band embarked on a nine date UK arena tour, with support from Dizzee Rascal, Noisia, Herve and DJ Kissy Sell Out. The "Warrior's Dance" video aired on Channel 4 on 28 March at 12:00 am

It’s unbelievable how good this album is! Every track could be listened 100 times! Liam is a true musical genius!
true
It's their worst album
I remember when this album dropped!
Nobody expected it nobody could believe how good they still were
Everybody was saying "Thats how it's done"
Its definitely the most happiest album. I can appreciate it because its The Prodigy, but my favourite album will always be Music For The Jilted Generation.
I bought a copy of the deluxe edition 2CD version of this album back when. Fantastic album.
excellent analysis this album by Liam is the most musically complex saturated with harmonics
Woah what! I didn't know The Prodigy made 'Stand Up', I always thought that tune was made by another band.
Fatboy Slim, maybe?
My favorite album from The Prodigy, let's gooo
Liam got a lot of mileage out of that Hustler's Convention LP!
There's that horn, man! (what?)
It's like "wooooooop!" SAMPLE????
Warriors Dance should’ve been called Sample, the whole song is a collection of samples and it works fantastically!
Nobody would do it like Prodigy
African Man by Iggy Pop was also sampled by Westbam - Monkey say monkey do and L. A. Style - James Brown is Dead was sampled by Initial D (Max Coveri) - Running in the 90s (normal and reversed sample). P.S.: keep this awesome work up :D
To be clear, "initial D" is not an alias of Max Coveri, but rather an anime about racing that heavily used songs by Max Coveri and other Eurobeat artists.
@@JamesLewis2 cool, didn't know that, thx 4 indo mate, just took a look and the credits told that Max Coveri was the writer of these songs and I thought, he is Initial D.
African Man shout sample is one of my favourite samples in rave/electronic music in general
Praga Khan - Injected with a Poison
Optical - White Lightning - feat. Ryme Tyme
Om Unit - Healing Rain
The Prodigy - Rythm Of Life
to name a few that come to mind
It's a good idea for a playlist! :)
7:39 always gave me 1950's science fiction B-movie vibes.
What a fantastic source of information it makes you want buy the albums and tracks and listen to the rest of the music not used. The invaders must die tour was fantastic. 👍☢️
I could have sworn that the phrase "world's on fire" was also sampled from The Breeders, even from that same song ("I Just Wanna Get Along"), but I haven't found any song that has that phrase sung in close to that way; it *is* true, though, that the line a couple of lines before "If you're so special, why aren't you dead?" ends with "his hair's on fire", but it doesn't sound like the "'s on fire" had been mashed up with some usage of "world" and distorted for the "World's on Fire" track.
I bet Senser are stoked that Liam used some of their track. I saw Senser live back in the early 90s and they blew me away. If you like Fat of the Land then check out their album Stacked Up.
I love your YT sample videos BTW. Thanks for all the effort you put into them.
Such a good album. Watched all your prodigy sample videos. Their the king of sampling.
Couldn’t agree more! You said it and I will translate it 😅: if anyone could do something extraordinary with those samples, Liam or the prodigy, would be them! Nobody else!
Nice finds but you can’t convince me he didn’t also mix in some Scooby-Doo sounds with those Piranha samples.
1:40 I recognize the "now here this...enough respect to all the massive." from Trip To The Moon part 2 by Acen.
I'm a bit forget about this channel, but quality is so good, what I just couldn't miss any vid release)
I love your work on The Prodigy!!! Please do Deee-Lite next! 🙏🙏🙏
And another one!
I'm surprised how I literally missed it in my notifications :D
Awesome work 👍
Excellent. Thanks so much!

What no Kool Keith samples ? Probably they weren't on speaking terms at this time😆😂🤣🙃😆😂🤣
Is there a Black Elvis x Liam Howlett connection!!?
Tanks
Love the sample by take me to the hospital ❤
Samples*.. they are Gods in this matter
My 2nd favourite Prodigy album after Experience. Great work.
You think this is better than both jilted and fat? Ehm... What?
Good stuff

Also did Noisia REALLY sample Mushroomhead for “Breeze”?? Or was that never confirmed?
Mega!
I never knew there was a nightmare mix of Sweet Dreams? by the Eurythmics?
Thsnk you maaan!
There are drum breaks in Piranha from Bone Machine by the Pixies.
nice! 👍 thank you =
= круто! спасибо 😌
Чел. Ты мог бы не писать второй раз. Он бы и просто на инглише тебя понял.
А так это выглядит как коммент какой-то бабульки
Либо малолетки
Where do you get all this information from? Great stuff mate 🐜
The internet 🙂 it’s all out there to be found mate 🙂
Awesome, ty comrades !
The James Brown Is Dead stab is originally from the ELO track So Fine, right at the very end are the pitch drop strings. Good luck getting that one cleared if anyone uses it though! Easier to just say it’s a very accurate recreation..
Run with the wolves - Dave grohl on drums
i wonder if you'd like to make the videos abt Underworld's albums
this band also rules, too
Oman and Worlds On Fire were the 2 best tracks on that album.
making songs with samples is def pure art. Still, im always somewhat disappointed that parts i thought he played were actually just sampled.
Anyone know who does the rock versions of the songs at the end of these videos?
Link is in the description mate 🙂
@@8mu- oh yeah lol. Thank you!

Now your.. *dont unestand* I heard it in some song of prodigy
It was in an unreleased track from 1994-ish called "Now hear dis"
It's not quite house, not completely breakbeat, can it just be a house break? Break in and entry? Shit im lost
This was the last good Prodigy album, even if first track is bad and generic electronic dance that i am surprised Liam still perform it live. He should reject it like he's done with Baby got a Temper, not on par with his works at all. The opening track always hamper the album listening to me, but the rest is fine.
Stealing begets… sampling
