Please feel free to comment, share, like. If there are something that you want to add please drop me a line and I will ensure its looked upon.

    Coke doesn’t typically sell direct to consumer, they sell to restaurants and stores so they’re technically B2B. The 7-11 you buy the coke from would be B2C though. That said, coke does do a lot of B2C marketing.

    What is the similarities between B2B and B2C?

    • @CanIndianChannel

      Its difficult to point similarity for example how do we point similarity between blue and red, yes they may elements from the same "VIBGYOR" so they are mixed in differently. Similarly have stark differences but looking at it through a macro level the revenue and methods to do business (goverment regulations etc) may be a few similar elements

      Nina Abedinpour , yes Coke is both B2B and B2C. It sells in retail stores which is when consumers buy it called B2C and then it sells to Mcdonalds(as a partnership) as B2b. For this example for simplicity sake I used coke as B2C only. Hope this helps.

      First of all thank you for a great video and a quick answer!! So the two can actually overlap? But is it then possible for the firm to have a primary market?

    • @CanIndianChannel
      @CanIndianChannel  6 лет назад

      Hi Nina, thank you for the positive words. I am glad the videos are helpful.
      To answer your question it depends on startergic intiative of the organization. Coke for example has a primary, secondary and tertiary segmented focus. So yes it is possible. However if you are a small business (ex.startup) with limited financial resources its better to establish and focus your vision as B2B or B2C and apply Kothlers phislosphy to them. Using this marketing derivates you are merely increasing your chace of success. Hope this helps.

In an another scenario you want to start an airline service which is completely different from private jet service as you have to cater to various group of customers from very rich ones that you will purchase the first class ticket to economy purchasing passengers.
      In the case of the private jet service business it is called verticals or vertical business arrangment because you are focusing on a niche group whereas in the example of airline service you are using horizontal market where you have myriad of customers to focus on....Hope this helps :) please let me know if you need further clarification.

      first imaging two scenario a glass tube and a tank.
      second imagining you as a business owner who will drop a fruit from the top of the glass tube and your customer are at the bottom who will eat the fruit.
      lastly I want you to imagine that your customer is one of your best friend. you know their taste and their liking so if they like sweet fruit you will drop in a mango from one end and your customet(your friend) will get the fruit from another end.

    • @CanIndianChannel
      @CanIndianChannel  4 года назад

      now on second example you are still a business owner and your customers are in a square tank (unlike previous example of tube). In this case the customer are people from your locality which you do not know well so you don't know their tastes and dislikes so rather than just sending a mangoes through like the first example your put in oranges bananas pear etc.
      Now the previous example where you used a tube was a vertical business and the second example where you need to satisfy a group of people needs and unsure of what group to target is horizontal business ....does this help

    • @CanIndianChannel
      @CanIndianChannel  Год назад

      Hi Nada, Amazon operates a marketplace where sellers ship products to Amazon wherehouses and amazon charges them premium to store their products and ship to customers. So if you look at this closely a business is selling products to amazon and then amazon in turns sells to consumers like you and I. So the marketplace sellers act as business and they sell to amazon as business so its business to business
