The interviewer’s reply was a fail. There are so many significant story lines in this show with brilliant acting, especially in this new season. She clearly didn’t watch. 😏
Which the host failed! It’s like asking which part of the Hunger Games do you like. The answer should not be the Games but rather the individual suffering of the tributes
Ice Queen sometimes interviewers are assigned an interview hours before and don’t actually have time to do all the research but in this case - she shouldn’t have said she “enjoyed watching the show” if clearly she didn’t watch the show because her answer about what her favorite part was so shallow and something you could get from the trailer lmao i don’t know if that’s what happened here but it sure seems that way
I’m a 68 year old gay white male. Thought I’d tune in to watch Pose. Wow! What a great series! I wanted to be part of their families. Pose is a must watch!!!!
Dominique came with nothing but facts! I love how Indya reminds everyone to empathize and identify with our BLACK TRANS SISTERS & brothers while the interviewer was busy gushing over the costumes.
S C its easy to ignore identity politics when you’re already mainstream. We’re being pushed into the back and told we’re wrong for being proud to exist. We want to have others know we’re out here living our lives
@S C if that were the case from the beginning. You wouldnt have time to be sick of identity politics. Because you would be sick when these peoples identities are under attack.
To be honest my favourite scenes were when the characters sat down together as a family and had their laughs as well as their arguments just like any other family. It truly speaks volumes.
Pose is a great series. Amazing performances and great writing and directing. And a story that needed to be told, for sure. Congrats to them and to all involved in this beatufiul show.
I'm not gay and do't pretend to know anything about the world these ladies inhabit but I have to say that both Dominique and Indya are really beautiful women and I think its about time the styma and the prejudice aimed at these women ceased and the stories be told. Loving Pose, its a show with heart and we need these kins of shows. Also love MJ Rodgriuez who so reminds me of a young Cher. You go girls.

I came to Pose late when the hype was over- I’m a Christian from conservative South Africa. I felt like I fell on my head straight in love into the world of trans. @BantuScribe but doesn’t that seem like kind of a non-sequitur? My good friend in a non binary person and they present as neutral and look quite androgynous. You can’t get mad at a person for misgendering you if you’re presenting as female.
As a trans woman I love the fact that this show really showed how trans folk and black folk created voguing and wacking and it really made me upset that drag queens and gay people got representation of the ball community and trans folk never got their representation. But now this show exists it is really amazing and beautiful!!!💕💕
I was a bit surprised that the interviewer chose the ballroom scenes as the best parts of the show; how about the parts where people pushed to the margins of society and shun from life to find homes filled with love and caring and nurturing from the same people who were also pushed out of society? How about the part where we finally get a glimpse of the world these people live in, and who they really are with their wants, needs and pains? They too celebrate life and are entitled the opportunity to express themselves and create themselves and have love in their lives. Pose is a masterpiece of a world hidden between the cracks of society that comes to life in its bare nakedness and, among other things, shows us how absent our civilized foundations and political structures are when it comes to the idea of “all of God’s children are equal and entitled to security and love”….A Masterpiece!
Every interview I've seen with any of these girls, has left me feeling proud, as a man of color, that our trans woman are so incredibly poised, brilliant, have a way of getting the important "take aways" to resonate. They know their shit, and they will be the liaison between the Trans world and non.
Dominique, Angelica - yes, maybe, but not Indya or Michaela, especially not Indya, all this person does is make sure the division between trans and non trans people stays. Def not the brightest one in the room.
One of my favorite parts was when Damon graduated school and Blanca had the celebration at her house Damon read everyone to filth that that was one of the best scenes to me
Brilliant points. Love how made sure she wateched it. E! does have a long way to go as a few of their hosts have defended Dave Chapelle. As an Apache Trans Woman, most of our tribes here on this sacred land have had multiple genders since the beginning of time.
When they asked her what was her favorite part was, it reminded me of that meme that Catcher in the Rye meme "Ah, I love love that book. They way he just *clenches fist* catches all that frickin rye."
I'm a 55 yo straight man , I decided to watch this after watching the 80th Golden Globes.... after watching season one I was like ... is this real ? did this really go on like they are portraying this ? ..... it wasnt long b4 I was getting NYC ballroom feeds on youtube etc .... WOW ... the acting is great and so is the story-line .... ive learnt so much .... RESPECT... thank you
I watched Pose 2 weeks ago and got hooked on it instantly. I loved it, it was everything rolled into one. I laughed, cried and was shook through out the seasons. I just wished there was more seasons. I never really heard of the houses and what they did, so it was very interesting getting a peak of the balls/culture.
These women are so brilliant and articulate. I learn so much from listening to them. Trans women were the originals, the leaders and the most fearless in the revolution, and I"m glad we are finally just beginning to give them the respect and love they more than deserve. Nothing we enjoy in LGBTQ life today would have been possible without them.
i love this so much. i could listen to dominique talk forever, everything she says is so inspirational and true, true, TRUE. her and indya are absolutely stunning.
Dominique is so fucking amazing. She is much softer than Elektra but she is still about as fierce and passionate I love how the response to the 'favorite part' was of course "the ballrooms so gorgeous" but anyone elses response (esp those in the community) will be almost everything else.
Of course the ballroom scenes are amazing but that's not the message of the show. The message is that they all are there for each other and love each other no matter what. They are family and always will be family.
I'm a transman and i recently watched pose. At first i was kinda turned off because there were scenes where the trans ladys complained about being misgendered while not even remotely giving off a male expression. I work at a LGBTQI+ counselling center and the trans women i meet there represent the reality for me. 80% of them have legit problems adjusting their passing, because they weren't born into a slim physique or have issues with their voice. I had to really chalk it off as the "hollywood" aspect of the series. This is something you see very often in movies, beautiful trans ladies who pass in a heartbeat, sure it is representation but still miles away from the real thing. I'm also glad Pose put the focus more on trans ladies, because in reality they are the ones who get targeted with harassment the most, outside and (sadly even) inside the community. A Transman here and there wouldn't have hurt tho lol (but thats just because iam one , take it with a grain of salt). Overall pose is a good, enlightening series i like to recommend to anyone and mostly to the younger members of the community.
I love MJ Rodriguez. Her and Dominique Jackson are literally mother. Dominique/Electra was everybody mother. Electra raised even Blanca/MJ on the show. But Indya Moore is just so gd fine though. She is so much like Octavia Saint Laurent. I just wish she was still here to see her perform.

It’s crazy that trans has helped us as queers to get freedom and rights yet we exclude them so much. And I say we because I was never interested as a lesbian until poor, I am very ashamed of that. It was like they were in the background for me. But they should definitely be at the front of the LGBTQ+
I really love Indya and Dominique. And MJ of course. I loved the stories they told us in Pose. I think they showed us a bit more how difficult life is for trans girls and all the LGBT community. Can't wait the final season!
They are so classy and feminine, no matter the gender...and I find them very beautiful and intelligent/smart. It's very interesting what they say and explain, because this beautiful show is not only about the glitters, the ballrooms and glamorous dresses and looks but mostly about the people, that community, it's about the feelings, the struggles, the pain and human side of everyone. I love this show because it educates me in understanding who is different from me, their stories, the way society works for them - often against them (sometimes for a straight person is confusing to truly understand what is transgender...more than homosexuality. To me it is, because I don't know anything about it and I don't personally know any transgender) and I really appreciate being educated in such a way, also watched Paris is Burning documentary, and it was so touching and made me cry because I saw a side of life that I would've never imagined...how hard is for them, how late newly they can be.... thankfully times are changing, because at the end of the day the most important thing is to be a good person, with values and integrity, no matter what gender or color. Just be good and do good.
@S C wow...all those words...I am sorry but I didn't get you. Maybe I shouldn't have used classy? Mannered is the right word, I like their manners and their talk. I am not native english speaking and maybe my words are not perfect but what you wrote "sound" harsh and quite rude. Anyway, I don't care :-) everyone is entitled to have a own opinion; but let's be respectful and polite.
A tv show has not made me so happy as Pose has in a long time. As a gay man, I am so so so happy to see the authentic way they portayed trans, gay, lesbian + people. It is a beautiful show, so important. P.s - Indya is probably one of the most beautiful woman i have ever seen.
POSE is an excellent program that has a lot to offer to general awareness. Unfortunately, for too many, it’s mostly regarded as an eye-catching spectacle of fashion and dance. They watch more for that than take on any understanding from the very real human stories being conveyed. One hopes that they are at least absorbing a little if not all of those stories in some way.
There are 3 beautiful individuals but there's only ONE woman in this interview and that's the blond biological female. The 2 getting interviewed are not "Women", they're biological males who live as pre or post op MtF Transgenders/Transsexuals and that's ok but let's not try to change, usurp or redefine what a woman is. Women have their identity unique to them and Trans have their own unique identity on their own separate from women so trying to blur trans MTFs identity with women's identity is not only an attempt at trying to erase their trans ness/transgenderhood identity/experience/plight and but additionally, you're also trying to erase the womanhood experience & plight of women. Women and MTFs Trans are not the same and that's ok. 🙂
Yass Dominique.. when she speaks we all must listen.. facts on facts.. an inspiration to us all

I love this comment and appreciate it very much
YESSSS for trans representation!!!
Dominique is the type of woman who speaks her mind and you can't let it go and you just listen to everything she says. Love it!
my favourite part is whatever Elektra says or does
I want to see indya talk more in interviews when domonique is present
Pose is my favorite i hope there's more season
Her command on English is so incredible....no one can speak the way Dominique does ❤️
Dominique Jackson.. What a Woman!
Absolutely graceful and powerful presence!
Hahahaha she said “what was ur favorite part” 🤣lmaoo
I wish I had stumbled onto POSE sooner. AMAZING!!!!
I LOVE DOMINIQUE WOW FOLLOWING HER STORY FOR THE PAST 12 YEARS SO HAPPY TO SEE HER FLOURISH 💛💛💛💛🦋💛💛💛💛🙏🏿
Oh they're as stunning off camera as on camera in the film! Wise, super conscious and aware 🏂🌐🌞🌈
they are so beautiful and sophisticated .... I love the story ....its an amazing
A tv show has not made me so happy as Pose has in a long time. As a gay man, I am so so so happy to see the authentic way they portayed trans, gay, lesbian + people. It is a beautiful show, so important. P.s - Indya is probably one of the most beautiful woman i have ever seen.
Indya (Angel) is so BEAUTIFUL!! I fell in love with the show when I saw her 😍😍
tHIS SHOW is REVOLUTIONARY.... I know very little about trans people. I didnt even know these women were trans. MADONNA's video, was great too.
My favorite part is the reads honey. The wit and refrain of the shade, whether well-deserved or not.
Yeah now they are trending everybody wants a piece from the LGBT I hope they won't divide them and change their creativity.
I think it's a very interesting interview, but d*%& this annoying music in the background!
I absolutely love these two beautiful and wonderful women.. I wish they would come out with more shows like pose..
There are 3 beautiful individuals but there's only ONE woman in this interview and that's the blond biological female.
The 2 getting interviewed are not "Women",
they're biological males who live as pre or post op MtF Transgenders/Transsexuals
and that's ok but let's not try to change, usurp or redefine what a woman is.
the IRONY of the interviewer saying that her favourite part was the aesthetic!!!!! ma'am did you listen to a single word??????
Great answers!
