my Rosie died at 16 several years ago. She was a real sweetie of a rottweiler 130lbs and the best pet i ever had. I live 23 miles out in the sticks on 10 acres and many times she would bring snakes, ground hogs, and the occasional coyote. Every time, the skin of the coyote was not broken but inside she had chewed the coyote and broken every bone, it was like hamburger inside a hairy skin. i never found any injury or bite on her. I miss her terribly every day and her gentleness and sweet heart, determined to keep my place and me safe. She was from the rescue service here in town where i have adopted 12 dogs over the years but the best of them all.
