Coma City off new album is awesome. Have loved Green Day since I was like 6. I'm now 35 going on 36. I hope to see them live one day. This song is pretty good. It was odd the first time I heard it , because of him doing a kind of scream thing, Very Different!!!
I like his scream in Livin' in the 20's and there are a few in 21stCB, definitely needs to scream more since he can.

they're still a trio. the extra guitarists are touring guitarists i'm pretty sure.
It’s still the 3 of the on the album. But they have tour guitarist because they use a lot of layering of guitars. They sometimes have an extra percussion and horn section for a couple songs.

I'm not sure how I feel with new Green Day music. I liked a few songs off of Saviors, but it's starting to feel uninspired, around halfway through the album I thought to myself, "Wow, this is the longest I've heard Billie sing about nothing." I've always loved Green Day, but the lyrics seem to make less sense and flow less gracefully with every new release. That's all fine if it feels good, but it's also coupled with overproduction that requires background vocalists and a three people playing the guitar when they do it live. I want to see them go back to a trio, no fancy editing, no special touches, and no necessity for 6 six different people in the background, just three guys playing good music. It'd also be fine with me if Billie kept his voice out of that falsetto, he can sing but when he 'woos' in this song it just sounds sad, but that's besides the point.
One day I just want to see Green Day making music they can play and sing on their own, music that means something, music that goes back to their bay area roots. If they ever did, I bet it would be a killer show.
