I love them older Philips SGS 203 and Philips SGS 201.
I would have loved one of them SGS 201 and one of them older SGS 203s for my collection.
Love the videos on this channel. It is so awesome to see the good old sodium lanterns get new lamps so they can continue running for the years to come.

Should you pass through Sweden, just let me know. Yes, it's fun with street lighting. Soon, LED fixtures will be everywhere, and the nice old-fashioned fixtures will disappear.

Im in need of bowls for the sgs201 as i have one for twin 35w sox lps thag the bowls got damage on it

Responsible? No, I wouldn't say that. But I have set up quite a bit of Christmas lighting in my time.

Yes, unfortunately we are throwing them away. Yes, they are very nice fixtures but unfortunately LED is becoming more and more common. Which country are you in?
at least it's better then what the council in my area do, they smash them! hammers, hammers and more hammers! not to mention tossing them overboard offf of the bucket truck into a mobile skip. those lights don't even have a chance to be saved, unless you like gluing stuff back together bulbs included!

and i no that the Portuguese translation makes "overboard" look like "throwing them into the sea", atleast there not THAT bad! it makes me wonder, are there any street light firms that toss there old lights in the SEA? i dear say, i prefer the ''crusher" than the "sea"

@@Skyworkss the idea came in to my mind due to a translation error of the word "overboard" in prorogues. it just maid me wonder if there are any bootleg streetlight firms that do that because they cant hire a visit to the crusher. but seeing what my town's council do, i wouldn't doubt it, except for the fact i know they take them to the crusher.
