Officer Brown has some good people skills. He was able to be tactfully assertive and factual about the seriousness of the situation without sounding offensive nor accusatory.
Yeah he absolutely did. High level body language and social skills. He listened , didn’t look judging but he was firm and explained the situation well without rising tension.
Gotta say. At around ~7:30 mins, the dude who had a gun in his pants knew he fucked up. He took responsibility and told the truth. It's hard to feel angry at him. He fucked up bad and he realizes it. Maybe it's just habit to bring it with him? We don't have a gun culture here, so I have no idea. But yeah, the potential worst consequences of this could have been horrifying.
I also noticed the narrator defied common sense criticizing him lol, “He blew JUST over the legal limit” and then argued it was probably worse right after he had a sip vs 45 minutes of his blood absorbing the alcohol 😂 if he blew after the shot probably would of been ok
This is a classic case of the green eyed monster on your behalf and nothing but jealousy you just wish you could do a dance as elegantly as him and that is your issue not ours. All credit to officer Brown, the officer acted with empathy and had full control of the situation. You have to applaud 👏 these are the police officers who deserve to wear a badge.
Partly. Illegally carrying a gun into a bar, with the intention of drinking while armed, isn't an accident. He committed a crime knowingly, while sober, knowing the risk to the others. The gun going off was accident; setting up the situation where that could easily happen wasn't an accident - it was a crime.
Do you think It would be the same sentence he was convicted of if it was a black fbi agent, or a civilian carrying a concealed weapon legally and their gun fired by accident? Idk. He got off super easy if you ask me.
@@Woodnote_Reverie Have you seen the video? Does it look like he's drinking to you? He ILLEGALLY brought a gun into bar. That's illegal regardless of why he was going into the bar. And he very clearly wasn't going in there for business! It's very clear from the video that he was there to party.
@@senseisecurityschool9337 Taking a gun into a bar isn't illegal I'm pretty sure, the illegal part is being in possession of it whilst drunk, so actually he didn't commit a crime until he was drunk

None of these were "stupid cops." In fact, the cops were the smart ones here. These agents were all stupid. But I don't think the first guy got off too easy. Dude made a mistake. Well, two. Firstly, if you are not planning to fire your weapon, there is no reason the safety should be off. It exists to prevent this exact type of scenario. Secondly, always make sure your weapon is secure at all times. If you are going to do a backflip or something else stupid like that, you shouldn't have a weapon on your person at all, in my opinion, but at least make sure it is secure. That said, it was an honest accident. The victim was not seriously harmed (compared to what could have happened), and like he said, there was no pointing, no aiming, no intent to fire. Accidents happen, and hopefully, he will be a lot more careful with his weapon in the future.

So far both was accidents so I’m not understanding what the huge blow up is. Only because their officers , off duty they can’t have accidents. As far as the guns on them period as off duty I mean it legal for citizens 🤷🏽♀️
No one should ever carry or handle firearms when drinking. Also, there’s no reason to carry without a proper holster. There are holsters for any garment and body type. If a LEO is this irresponsible with their weapon, what other duties are they making poor decisions with?
Anyone reading this if you’ve never been to Steamboat Springs, Colorado I highly recommend you go! It’s just paradise there! I hope to move there when I retire!
With the texh'n'clip thing. No. That's reasonable. That's a true accidental fire. Like most in this video. Look, Man. We're Americans. Who hasn't experienced an accidental fire in their life? Thats why vector fire is important. It's basic practice with firearms (EVEN IF YOU'RE DRUNK). 1. Be aware of how your gun functions. 2. Be aware of where your gun is pointing. 3 never point your gun at something you're not intending to OR WILLING TO kill. Nobody got hurt. Thats a good thing in this instance. All im saying is A. Intoxication doesn't automatically indicate an irresponsible owner B. Nobody is perfect. C. Laws of Government DO NOT SUPERCEDED THE BASIC LAW OF MAN and COMMON SENSE.
To be honest, I don't understand what the first guy did. It was just an accident he didn't mean to shoot the guy. He was just trying to pick up his gun an accidentally fired it.
