not to mention that 1.) any TRULY experienced helicopter rescue team knows that the winch that's on the side of a helicopter is not designed to support the weight of a car. 2.) they could have lowered the rescue crewman with the winch rather than merely using rappelling gear. it's supposed to be a rescue mission, not an Air Assault mission.
and the fact that a winch on the side of a helicopter is not meant to support the weight of a car.....and the fact that they didnt lower the rescue crewman down with the winch. now, if they were using a Chinook helicopter with a cable on the belly of it MIGHT have been more plausible, but also very unlikely.
I remember when me and a buddy did this in Scranton. Me, a couple other bad dudes and a lizard helped save a girl hanging off a cliff outside a bar. Well, it looked like a cliff. We were drunk, so anyhow...we got a helicopter that was almost outta gas 'n pulled her out. I would've dated her myself, but she had a lotta hair down there and that's not my thing. Wear a maskhole. C'mon man!
