Being a corporate airplane pilot and a small airplane owner I can tell you that safety wiring critical components is standard and required in aviation. To me it makes all the sense in the world to carry this idea over to dirtbikes, especially if you trail/desert ride where you’d be far away from any potential help in the event of a failure. Safety wiring things correctly and cleanly does take a little practice but when done right it adds a lot of protection for a minimal cost! Great video as always Charles! 👍
I've been riding dirt bikes my whole life in about 20 years ago my brother was in the Air Force and he brought me to look at the mechanics of fighter jets that I couldn't believe the safety wiring and mechanics they do

I’m a GA/corporate airplane mechanic and I couldn’t agree more! Been using saftey wire and torque seal on my bikes for 10 years
