You have no idea how much i was struggling with the tecnique topspin against backspin, maybe also because i skip the understanding and feeling of the spin like he said But now that i m using more of my wrist and more close racket angle i can bring it now very heavy backspin

Can you explain why top coaches still teach to have the blade face closed and go more forward then up? I was told that the return how you teach is not powerful, just spiny.
Long and short backspin ball are very different. I am a good player but I find short backspin ball are vefy hard to deal with. Not only they don't bounce high but they are also quite close to the net.
