Richard, I guess you're a classical Pianist who is into sheet music. Most contemporary instrument players like Kim play by ear. They master various Chord progressions, runs, licks and passing chords. With practice, you can play and even improve on any piece of music.
I bet he was brought uo in church and his parents are worshippers...so these songs flooded his ears growing up. 🥰😍❤😌

I like how this artist uses the space before the final chord for emphasis - his playing truly "breathes" in all the right places. It sounds like such a little thing, but actually has a huge impact. (Beethoven was said to say, the most important note in music is a rest). Sweet well placed whole tone run, Yohan, caught that color a couple of times in between Kirk Franklin's arrangement! You always add a cool personal touch to whatever you do...
