I have been asked a few times to show you what i use to colour my hair copper at home. I used to be a hairdresser many years ago however, colouring my own hair is completely different to how I would colour a clients hair haha....I'm more 'slap dash' on myself! I put this exact one on Wednesday night. I’m naturally blonde and was terrified at how red it looked when applying. I’m really happy with how it turned out though, very similar to yours but I also have a patchy bit on the side but I think that’s down to my dodgy application 😁
That's my 6 year old daughter's natural hair colour! I'm so jealous! Mine natural colour was a more muted version of these but I get it done at the salon now , my hair is turning white now and I'm only 37, something that runs in the family. My daughter calls my colour Cinnamon Bun hair when I get it done, had it done last week. xx

I love how you want that bright carrot colour! I find so many dyes have too many red tones and not even lightening. I’m getting to see from your vids ans from other ginger lovers out there that I might need to lighten my hair first to get a lovely bright colour! The best copper seem to be when they are applied to blonde hair! I’d love to see you get your perfect ginger/copper! I’m all out to try a colour depositing conditioner when it arrives in the post. I tried the clairol 8WR and it’s lovely and light but not very bright and it fades quickly.
Also in Aus they have a Pure Copper shade in Schwarzkopf Live Permanent but that’s a 7. Did you want to try that one out? Do they have it in the Uk?

Love that color on you! The lighter your Hair is, the brighter that color will be in the end. I think 7.43 would look a little better on you. More gold would make your skin look stunning! Grtz from Andrea from Eindhoven 🇱🇺
I just ordered the superdrug mango, 2 minutes before I got the notification for this 😂 I love the colour your hair has gone, I think what you're calling patchy is more natural, my natural ginger is alllll sorts of shades lol xx
Kimberley Annon ah what a coincidence 😁 it’s a nice colour but it’s just a bit too on the red side for me. If it had different streaks running through I think yeah that would be pretty but mine had like chunks of darker and lighter patches which didn’t blend well. It’s hard to show on camera but when I do my follow up video, I’ll film outside in pure daylight so it’s shows true then. I will look into the Superdrug one maybe next time 😁 xx
@@Diaryofabeautygeek ahh that's a shame. I really liked your hair when you used the olia colour, that is the kid of colour I'd love. Having naturally ginger/copper/Auburn hair gets boring.. I want it to be brighter, so I'm going to try the superdrug one and just see what happens. Hopefully it'll take 🤞🏻 xx

This copper hair dye is definitely one of these which I choose the most eager but much morze often I dye my hair with polish hair dye (I live in Poland) that's exactly the same fresh, fiery orange shade as the mango. Would U recommend, however, Pure Paprika P78 from L'Oreal?

It does look nice,but I stopped using shop dyes as it was never very good patchy and the greys camethrough so quickly had to go back to the hairdressers xxx🤗

Hi there I’m not sure about the old packaging, possible Amazon but the formula is supposed to be the same and can be bought in a boots, Tesco etc xx
It not the best hair dye I used it before didn't really take in my hair. I now used more semi dye as my hair is dark brown and red at the bottom which I find is better but I do the red every 4 weeks X
Hi Claire I must say the conditioner in those hair packs are amazing can you buy them separately no ! They would make a fortune if they did ! I gave up doing my own hair I just go every five weeks for roots and cut !

What is your favorite copper hairdye? I have used this one a while ago and it turned out real red. I heard that you have to wash it a few times and than it turns

Βιολέτα Κοχυλίου hello... well I applied the color of the video which was very nice, but bcuz of this covid situation I couldn’t find the same anymore to do the roots, so in the pic I had a darker one ... (it has a color filter too) , the color I applied was 7.4 from another brand... and my natural hair is base 5.0 so it always go darker than I really want 😢 ... don’t mind if u ask me, I can give u tips 💋
Βιολέτα Κοχυλίου if u have base dark blond or brown ish hair (100% natural with no previous color applied) and if u apply this color from the video u will have a very natural ginger result ... it only goes very bright like the model in the box if u bleach ur hair before applying the tint or even if u have a light natural blond.

Nicole Jenkinson Loreal Prodigy in shade Amber is my all time fave - it’s a little darker but fades into an amazing long lasting vibrant copper on my hair however, it’s now discontinued 😩
@@Diaryofabeautygeek did this dye fade similarly to the prodigy? Have you tried a similar dye to the Prodigy? It is really hard finding ginger hair dye that doesn't have so much red in it these days. I use to use a great one by Garnier Nutrisse but it is also discontinued, or at least I can't find it anywhere online or in the shops.
i got an allergic reaction to this colour and got burn scabs all over my head x
