Fun fact : Marvel already foreshadowed the "Tiny cars". In Ant-Man 1 when Daren goes to Pym's to kill him, you will notice a toy car on the table. Later in the movie Hank takes that exact Car (Orignal size) to Darren's presentation of the Yellow jacket to Hydra.
Why aren't the compressed mass of the vehicles heavy? Like seriously, why are Scott's hands the only things to follow the "same weight when small" rule?
@@ant9169 That works on a skateboard as the trucks are designed to pivot when the board is tilted, but that wouldn't work on a truck, leaning wouldn't effect steering at all.
@@nate472 wait, what about the chemical reaction going on in the car? Does it give off the same energy? Or if not, is it enough to propel the vehicle at a similar speed?
We see pretty much everything in this scene. I think a debadged Chevy Blazer as the first chase vehicle to approach the van, Cadillac Escalade carrying the lab (which smashes into a Honda CR-V), Dodge Charger as primary chase vehicle (which smashes into a Fiat and pushes said Fiat 500 into a Chrysler Town and Country, and that in turn into a Honda Accord), and Ant Man using a Freightliner as a skateboard. So GM, Honda, and Chrysler/Fiat brands all got smashed. I guess the Hyundai got special treatment as it didn't get smashed.
lol gotta love Luis here. Dude was very good at the best moments, and dude didnt need instruction on how to use the Pym Tech he had on the car. They have to bring him back for the next one!
I just had one crazy thougth. What if somebody at the MCU combined the time travel tech The Avengers created with a car like that, and basically create the MCU's DeLorean.
One thing I will continue to hat about the ant Man movies is that they threw away how your mass will stay the same so weight will as well. Was literally one of the first things that Hank Pym had to point out. Now in every movie they just throw it away. How was he supposed to pickup that car?
when he picks up the Hyundai, it has the same headlamp paint & wheels to that of TOMICA not Hot Wheels (I actually saw perhaps 2 hot wheels cars, and both of them are muscles)
Remember these aren't actually Hot Wheels cars. Hot Wheels cars don't have engines, steering, or any of the other stuff to actually function. These are normal full-size cars shrunk down and put in that case.
anyone else watch this scene with the Hot Wheels Battleforce 5 theme song playing in their heads? because lets be honest Luis would make a cool member of the team.
One weird thing is how does ant man push the truck if pym particles make the SPACE between atoms smaller/bigger not the atoms?? he would have the same strength...
Since the first movie they would be able to give a really sweet explanation to how Pym particles with the knowledge there is right now in specific science fields.
Technically: a hot wheels is a 1:64 of a car. If you scaled down an actual Hyundai Velostar to that size, the weight ~3000 lbs/64 = 46.875 pounds. So a little heavier then shown but still absolutely love this scene
This is how you give a supporting character a purpose, a reason to be there. Smart writing. “I love you, Dr Pym” gets me every time 😂😂😂😂
They did Pena dirty. They should have brought him back for the latest Ant Man movie.
@@HawkGTboy indeed. He should’ve been up on Earth the whole time trying to find some way to open the portal for them to get home.

Every person's dream to drive a Hot Wheels car!!
I know that was a dream come true for Luis. It's definitely one of mine.

Paul Rudd is a fucking gem.
I wish Luis was a hero himself. Imagine, the tiny driver!
Captain Hot Wheels
Or Wonder Wheels
Ant car
The car that can travel at a speed ten times it’s weight/ its gravitational acceleration
They should make him bear-man. Just Luis in a bear suit, no powers, just the bear suit.
They could make Luis Overdrive. Would be cool to see some of the seriously low key characters
He is a hero.
Antman and the Wasp remains to this day my favourite Marvel film. It's so fun, the stakes aren't too high and has such lovable characters.
I like it too, even better than Captain Marvel. Personally, ant man and the wasp came out at such a great time after an emotional tragedy that was infinity war.
Same. This movie and Ragnarok are my favorite MCU movies, after Iron Man 1 of course.

Ad placements. Hyundai paid them to include their products.
