She steals the show. The more into the show you get the more you see that Gavin and Stacey are the least interesting people there: he’s a nerd who dresses like a schoolboy and she acts like a 12 year old who says “lush” all the time. Viva Nessa, Mick, and Allison Steadman!

I think Gavin and Stacey would have been a lot worse without Nessa, whose tall tales, sexploits, sayings and clothes make the show. Gavin is a bit dull TBH, the sort of guy who works hard, doesn't have much of a personality and likes predictable things like watching football. I like Stacey more, who seems to have more go in her and can come out with some good lines.
Love to have a spin off show just focusing on Nessa (And maybe Smithy)
