Doesn't take much searching to find a number of issues with the Holley setup as well. Only time will tell if a Holley is still operable in 30 years, I have my doubts, lol
I have a Terminator X in my 5.0 cougar and have been daily driving it for a while....yes it has a few minor issues but for the most part it has proven pretty reliable. The best part is you can make changes yourself as your combo changes.
My car was undriveable with original wire harness & mass air computer.. drives like a new car that makes just 12” of vacuum @ idle.. good low speed manners as well
This is true, maybe longer life if left in stock form, but for the most part just like the wiring, these things don't age well. Holley X is a rebirth, and makes things all new again.
Anybody use Pro-m racing’s system.. priced close to the Holley.. stand alone ecu , new wiring harness.. mass air with 2 wide band o2’s.. congrats to Holley and their marketing.. Pro-m has been around since the 90’s .. they use a modern ford computer 🤔 My setup has been great
This would be Awesome in my 67 mustang convertible but I am finally getting my Dakota digital gadget in, the EFI would great over my Edelbrock 600 but after having 351w come back from the machine shop funds are depleted 😢. Best of luck to everyone what a great giveaway.

My 91 has a misfire NOBODY and I mean NOBODY can figure out. Surges at idle on startup and wants to die. I did idle reset and replaced so many things. NOTHING has worked, only thing left really is engine problem, Injector issue, and maybe fuel pressure. I'm ready to throw in the damn towel. OMG I NEED A T SHIRT. I just bought one wish me luck. I could actually use this.
Do you happen to have access to another ecu? I had some backfiring issues with mine years ago. Ended up being the ecu not adjusting timing while driving. It was just stuck at 10 degrees all the time. Had the ecu repaired and it's been great since.
@@twinturbotony93 I don't, I did replace the capacitors in it and had it checked. No other issues were found besides the caps. It does what I described above until warm. Once warm it's clearly got a misfire. It's some weird shit for sure. I've replaced many things already which were actually bad also. I gotta check compression and go from there w it. It runs like absolute shit though lol. Curious how did you figure out it wasn't adjusting timing? Mine doesn't backfire at all
@@twinturbotony93 the best part, I took it to a local shop right. They've had it for a week and have no idea. It's the best shop around me too. If they can't tell me anything by tomorrow I'm going to get it. I will then tear the bitch apart lol. I'm at my witts end w it. I figured take it there as maybe there was something I missed. I knew it wasn't going to be easy. If it was easy I'd have fixed it. When I get it back I'm going to make a video of it. That way if I fix it I can help others.
These cars need modern computer technology. What they have is laughable, even for the time when it came out it was dated. Call me simple but like the stock, mechanical dash gages. That computerized dash is nice but I prefer old school. Dump the computer in the car with terminator is a must though 🙂

SHE sounds great!!!!! Computers wear like anything else. They get slow and have issues and they will fight you every bit of the way.
Nice! I like that analogy. One day I may replace my old SD computer, but it works fine now.

Thats holley is exactly what i need, i fully built my 88 hci 331 stroker but its on the stock computer im not sure if its even tunable

Ms3pro in my old fox worked great cheaper then holley...and it was plug and play went into the stock location

Question: What would be your be opinion on the mega squirt ecu. Especially if I all ready changed the wire harness with a ron francis wiring harness??
The Stinger PiMPxs uses the stock harness. Been pretty good to me.
