I forget where it was but you said something like “these are not good go moves, don’t learn from these moves, but sometimes when you’re behind you have to throw out bad moves to confuse your opponent” and it made me think: I recently found a RUclips rabbit hole for connect-4 strategy, and learned that it is an entirely solved game, and player 1 should win every game if they play perfectly. Player 2’s only hope is to play unusual moves in hopes of the opponent not knowing the correct move. I suppose the same strategy applies here, the more hopeless the situation the more you have to play to the possibility of human error. Even if they aren’t “good moves”, maybe at some point the definition of “good” changes to “moves that are difficult to respond correctly to” Exciting game, I look forward to the rest of these reviews!
