My mom placed all her jewelry in a screw holder toolbox. When she passed I acquired this box and that thing has so much jewelrey in it. I wear pieces sparingly. Your collection is awesome.
When my father passed, I “inherited” his bracelets, chains, cufflinks, etc…they’re worth more to me than anything. Now my goal is start a collection that’ll eventually go to my daughter. Thank you for showing us your very personal and intimate collection. We appreciate you🤗
I love your collection! It's rare to see one that is actually worthy of being called a collection, and which is full of unique, special and curated items. Most of the jewellery collection videos on RUclips could be titled "Look at all of the overpriced pieces which I was influenced to buy". I love mixing metals too, and especially like to wear pieces which are made of mixed metals.

It was really interesting to hear the backstory of your collection and why you're drawn to certain things. I have so many things that were my mom's that I might not have chosen but I love them so much because they were hers❤
You made me bring out my old silver jewelry and some jewelry that I’ve disrespected to come out and give it some respect and some love.
I too, have my mom's silver bangles from the seventies. She had about seven of them that she wore consisently during that time and she was ready to give them away recently. I grabbed them for myself because I have such great memories of the sound that they used to make when she wore them. Plus they are such great statement pieces that you never see anymore.
This video 10/10......I love all the sentimental pieces from your family and how you smiled when talking about each piece. The pearl ring and the hammered cuff and of course the Tiffany cuff were some of my favorites. I like all the stones turquoise and tiger's eyes. These stones have different energies and meaning.

Loved this video so much and the stories behind all the pieces! Jewelry speaks so loudly to me and I’ve also always been drawn to turquoise. My collection is quite large because I always buy jewelry when I travel to a new country so would love to hear how you store your pieces.
Loved this video! We have similar taste in jewelry, especially the silver and turquoise pieces. I have the Caribbean bangles up my arm. I've had them since high school and my fork bangle. You have a fabulous collection! I could be wrong, but I think that tiger's eye ring you were showing was a marcasite piece. That's to say, it was encrusted with bits of pyrite, but for some reason the result is called marcasite. I love marcasite jewelry, so seeing an example here was ~chef's kiss~. Similarly the green stone on that other ring is probably malachite. Great video!
The turquoise dirty looking bracelet is actually oxidised silver. Its made to look antique. You can use a soft toothbrush and some toothpaste to clean it if you want but oxidised silver doesn't need agressive cleaning. If its brass plated silver, the yellow will eventually come out. A clear top coat of nailpolish will stop that from happening.

Gosh I loved those silver bangles in the 80s (teen). What beautiful gifts you have been given. I am so glad to have a little granddaughter to pass things down to now. You have inspired me YET AGAIN to wear my pieces CG. My grandmother died a few years ago and I received a beautiful little tiny ring that my grandfather bought her when they met in italy. I love it, and wish I could attach a picture of it, It's unique it only fits on the pinky... I am going to start reaching for these things. Wow I have got in such a rut working from home for 3 years - Black Stretch Pants and T's and no jewelry on... You have inspired me to do the things that I used to that bring me joy. The cuff and ring that has the turquoise stones that patina, the base metal is brass or copper that is why it has turned yellow. I design jewelry so that is usually an indicator of a yellow base metal

I've had the bone cuff on my wish list a while, but even the small looks large on my 5'3" frame and small wrists. I think it's a look I'd have to get used to.
they have a smaller one than this. I went in looking for the large (long) cuff with the split in the middle and I learned quickly that one was not for me and this one was....maybe try the smaller version.

i never inherited jewelry from my family and i have an old aunt who gave me jewelry and she is still alive i cant wear it because of my allergy. My mother and aunt are the heirs i am nobody to them. My mom and aunt live a life that involves with money and gold. So i married a man who came from a poor family and my dad is also poor but my mom married a man with wealth and my aunt made herself rich and live good lives. I saved up for my own gold jewelry and i wear those every day and i have a few items of each piece. I have a daughter who is 6 and she got a pair of gold earrings. And she is so in love with them she wear them every day. My mom owns a lot of jewelry and so does my aunt and my old aunt too. But i know that my daughter gets the pieces. I distanted myself from those items . My daughter likes jewelry aswell and she will get those items when the time is right. They will be kept in the family but not for me. She can wear them when she can how she wants. My daughter is everything to them.

What do y'all that are ring people do to not lose your rings when washing your hands? (Like when you take them off to wash). I do have a job that requires washing my hands regularly, but it just seems like a hassle generally to be taking off stacks of rings every time I wash my hands. (And no, not taking off the rings is not an option for me... that is not hygenic lol).
