Ai voice was stitched together (Like any other time) again, but the result is still a little bit iffy at parts. Hopefully it doesn't detract from the experience, and enjoy! 2:44 you either got breaking vocals, or something out of the exorcist. FYI
Yeah man, Mercury's reworks are second to none but I gotta say your vocal A.I techniques are really coming along as well. It's awesome that everyone seems to be cool with working together to make stuff like this happen! His Enter Sandman Justice rework is what really got me into his channel and it's still one of my favorite things ever. If StateOfMercury is willing, I'd love to hear what it sounds like to have 88 James vocals over that masterpiece. But of course that's only if he's cool with having you use it while giving him credit as you have been, plus if there's even interest on your end for doing such a thing. This is probably sacrilege to Justice sound purists but I happen to probably like the version Mercury put out with the bass added just a tad more as it just sounds so bad ass, but honestly I like both and I'd be overjoyed to hear either one with the proper era vocals. Major props to folks like you, Zo$o, Mercury, and countless others for doing the work you do. To think we live in an era where stuff like this is even remotely possible is mind blowing. Either way, keep up the great work and I'll be keeping an eye on whatever you guys cook up next. Rock on! \m/
Thanks man and I really appreciate the information you gave. I've stepped up my techniques, mixing quality, and ai in general to really deliver. I'm putting out a Shadows Follow cover soon, Chasing Light comes out on ZoSo's channel within this or the next week, and I'll take a look at justice sandman in the next bit. I ask each channel for permission when I can, and credit where due, and with SOM I have asked a couple months back but have yet to hear officially. As far as I am concerned however I am allowed, but I will make sure to credit as much as I can to not "steal"from creators. I barely see any other AI channel credit, if at all, which annoys me. Respect the work they put out, ask, and I'm inclined to take down covers of I don't have permission to use them, creative commons or not, or just for personal reasons on behalf of whomever made whatever. This is why I'm slower, I'm tedious, I take my time to create a result worthwhile rather than endlessly pumping out half-effort shit vocals like a lot of people are doing. Again, thank you for the comment, and glad you enjoy this.
His AI techniques... I hate music these days. This is fake as fuck man, its kinda cool i gotta admit, but I might as well listen to some xand out pimple fuckr is his moms basement with 3500 of grandmas money into an interface and decent computer. I love metallica whatifs, but music these days is f Ed man
That's so fucking cool. it's such a great idea. I think it blends the best of all of the Metallica or AI covers you've done. I'd love to hear Unforgiven done in the Justice era there's all extra parts in guitar solos to that would be wicked
All within the process of making a good voice model. It could be even better when the best quality audio sample the AI is covering is used, and proper editing. Check out Chasing Light by ZoSo - I did the Ai vocals for that, he did the rework and it is stellar!
@@GreenmiIeThat’s the first video I watched that was related to these videos and I didn’t know you did that! I actually commented the same thing. The voice so well made!
I GUESS IS BECAUSE IS THE EMULATION OF YOUNG JAMES VOICE OVER THE 90s JAMES VOICE THAT MAKE IT MORE NATURAL THAN OTHER AI VOICE EMULATIONS. IF YOU TAKE JAMES VOICE OVER ELVIS VOICE IN AI IT WILL SOUND MORE SYNTHETIC THAM THAT "AINT MY BITCH"
I always felt like James recorded the original song in the very beginning of the Load/Reload sessions because it sounds closest to the Black Album vocals.
His vocals on Load were great. He still had that grit from the black album. By the time he went in to record Reload his singing style had changed so much
Awesome job!!! I always thought this song, 2X4, King Nothing and a coupe of others would have sounded better with the “Black Album” production, but this is way better.
@@GreenmiIe Thanks so much man. Someone did it already but they didn't pitch the vocals up from D to E (cause the cover is in E while the original is in D so don't forget to pitch the vocals up 2 semitones).
@@coltallica48 Noted, I haven't listened to those reworks in a while, but instead of stripping just original vocals I also use rework-stripped vocals to have accurate timing, and those typically have pitch correction in place. But yes I will do this.
@GreenmiIe Unfortunately the rework is an instrumental so no vocals. You'd have to get the original vocal track, pitch it up 2 semitones and then time it to the rework which would take a bit of work. It would pay off but i can understand if you don't want to do it
@@coltallica48 nah I'm committed to authenticity so I don't care. Unlike half these other channels that just spew out content without any fixes or edits to the vocals. It’s like listening to Metallica from an alternate universe where they never worked with Bob Rock, made the Black Album-St.Anger and just continued on with their sound from AJFA.

Dude the Justice sound is just awesome!
This is amazing. Fact is that James still sounded like this when this song was first written
But not 1:1 with 88 vocals, as it didn't sound as harsh as 88
I want to hear what the newer Metallica albums would sound like if they still had their classic tone and James still had his youthful voice 🤔
