- Here I used the intrumental from @GuitarRazze and the AI cover from @BlackHoleNoises , what I did was remixing both of them, and added more delay, reverb, etc on James's voice to make the mix closer to the actual AJFA,

Omg! I'm just waiting to hear That Was Just Your Life done like this as that's the one song from Metallica's later catalogue that is up to bar with their 80's stuff.
You definitely need to listen to more songs if you think only That Was Just Your Life is the 'one song' up to bar with the 80's stuff... my suggestion is My Apocalypse, it's so awesome

DM is decent, cyanide is a bit iffy, Judas kiss drags on a bit in the middle, BBaS intro is a waste of time, same as all nightmare long, seriously if you cut the fat and give it a decent mix it's a killer album

Is that insinuating that new Metallica isn’t nearly as good? Because if so, I’d agree with that. Listening to The Sick, The Dying and The Dead by Megadeth blows 72 seasons out of the water.
@@stoplooking2165 I would say it's under-producing their music is the problem. The old albums had more attention to tones, ambience, intros, fade ins/outs, architected solos, reverbs/delays, unique drum/amp tones, etc.
Now each album seems more or less sounding the same, guitars and vocals rarely have any ambience or effects, not many intros/outros, solos are more improvised and not intricate or well thought out, etc.
Sometimes I think that everything from Metallica sounds near perfection with AJFA mix!!! Thanx for posting.

AJFA is the weakest of the first 4 sections of Metallica Bible with only 3 songs being played live, Blackened, One and Harvester of Sorrow.
In beggining (i think) i detected DYERS EVE Arrangement ... DYERS Is one of my favorites songs ever . Plus the killer Hetfield vocals from late 86 to early 92 good work 🤘🤘🤘

If you compare 88 hetfield with the actual rendering of atlas rise it’s not that far tbh. Hence why even the original is so good
The only part that does not sound like metallica in this song is the melodic guitar part of the chorus. Thay sounds like iron maiden not metallica, the rest is pure 80s metallica
